  1. Radiation Therapy is borderline useless unless you need a heal every 30 seconds or you think 9 hp/sec is worth shooting for, but as an attack it's completely useless now. It needs accuracy so you can't just throw any healing set in it which leaves you using TotN or ToE. (I suppose you could 5 piece Panacea with an ACC I/O) I have a Brute, Stalker, and Tanker with Rad armor, only on the Stalker is Radiation Therapy useful, and even still then I'm thinking of spec'ing out of it for an epic AOE, because RT no longer fills that gap. If I were to keep it, I'd drop it down to 2 slots just for a heal that isn't half bad, or 3 slots if you need HP and 9% ACC from TotN. Also, RT's recharge is the new "adaptive recharge." The more bad guys you hit with it the longer it takes to recharge, so the 7 seconds MIDs shows it what it is when you only hit 1 dude, it's ~30 if you hit 10. And.....I think, you really need to 2 slot Hasten with recharge and +5 them both to get the most bang for your buck.

  3. I feel the same about Dual Pistols. I like my character and therefore I like playing it, but yes it feels very underwhelming. I realized this when it was just me and a tank wailing on an EB for what felt like forever. Lethal is just too resisted and the bump from fire ammo doesn't really fill the gap. My concept of what's "good" is shifting somewhat. I've recently rolled a triple fire blaster and a version of @Spaghetti Betty SS/regen brute. Both do unbelievable damage, so much so it's skewing my view... My fire/dark/soul corruptor is prob the only one I've got that's close to those two.

    A friend who just started playing again (it's all different to him from live) is asking for advice for a Spines/Regen build. Which I did for him....BUT it's gonna be expensive! LOL What I did was max out his HP, slow resist, and got hasten on perma all before incarnates. I put the 50% crit in Spine Burst and the Crist Bonus in Barb Swipe, this slotting I'm not 100% sure about. He wanted Energy Mastery but only Focused Acc and Physical Perfection, so that left alot of slots open. I didn't proc out anything because with no KB powers it was difficult for me to get his recharge up. I don't know, it's his first 50 back and I wanted him to have a solid toon. Any other suggestions?   7. Learning to build is different for everyone and then there's what works for you. I don't have a Tanker Regen/TW nor a build or I 'd post it, BUT my suggestion is to (first off refer to @Spaghetti Bettyfor any regen related builds) search for builds that have either both sets you desire or builds that have one of the sets and then combine them to make your own. I am, of course, assuming you have MIDs. I learned from being taught with builds, not being instructed on how to build. People will tell you to increase this or that but forget that they are used to the game and have forgotten how daunting and overwhelming it can be. GL out there! -WT
  8. OK been doing some solo testing and.... Solo the heal from RT is decent. Once every ~26 seconds you can completely refill your HP with a big group on you and I was getting ~600 HP back on a single target with a recharge of only ~11 seconds. So actually for solo play, IMO, the heal isn't bad, but still not needed for my build. It took the +4 Romans minutes to take me down where I needed to heal and that's without me attacking or using any shields.

  10. I take ALOT of my slotting ques from @Spaghetti Betty when it comes to anything HP regeneration related. I run this exact combo and it's proved to be durable as all hell. If you plan on 4 star definitely proc out more than I did just to bump your DPS a bit, but this build puts out a decent amount even having not taken any epic powers. The FF +recharge proc is up 99% of the time. The double travel powers thing is for theme, but does give you insane mobility. Also the running speed is peggd out, which if you're not used to will have you pinging off walls, which I think is funny, Any ways, hope you might find something useful within... Have fun!   11. I ran an ITF last night and tested it, it never proc'd damage once. So between missions I reslotted it with a full set of ToN and IMO the heal is not needed and the +regen wasn't noticeable. The build already didn't need the heal as RT was proc'd for damage and MA is the secondary which really needs an additional AOE now, so I've spec'd into Soul Mastery and picked up Dark Oblit. But now the question is....do I drop Eagles Claw for a proc'd out Gloom?

    I've worked on 2 builds with Dual Blades as the primary, one with Super Reflexes and the other Dark Armor. I like them both, but leaning DA. The main reason is SR nor DB has a heal and that might not be good. 2nd BUT....has anyone used the new power Obscure Sustenance and does it work as advertised?

  14. Good work on the build! I'll be taking some ideas from it 🙂 One question though, why did you slot Aura of Insanity like that? With only a mag 2.5 control not much more than minions are going to be affected, right? And I've seen people proc'ing this aura, does it hit better than on others? My understanding is that procs are not very effective in toggle auras. And I've noticed this too on other builds of mine. Some are very big differences.
  15. Funny thing is, when double stacking, you don't actually get a minute of OMG kill'em ALL!!!!!, it's only 50 seconds; because for 10 you are hitting everything with a wet noodle. That doesn't feel very super strengthy to me. So not sure how the purist think a no crash situation is a bad one. Also the -50% end drain is f'ing real! Every 60 seconds I sap myself... I do like the set though, but I think it works better for me on a resist or healing set or anything that doesn't rely on defense as its main mitigation and also has a great endurance sustain. On a team I think SS thrives. All but one element of the crash can be easily mitigated but also, I think most sets thrive on a team...even the poorly built ones. Personally I think the crash is a bit much, but it only accounts for 17% of play and it does hit really hard.......for 50 seconds at a time. Edit: It anything, as often as the crash cycles, it's sort of like an out-of-shape fighter getting winded and asking for a time out every 50 seconds.
  16. Here's my thought about Rage crash, leave it up to the player. Allow a single stack with no crash, but a double with crash, and this sort of makes sense as per how the power is. A little mad and meh but getting really mad takes it out of you. OR.... Half the benefits without crash. Allow a mutually exclusive toggle to opt for, like the Blaster's Device's Targeting Drone (+toHit and a +20% to damage) something like that but maybe more +damage. Keep it as is but make the duration longer so the crashes aren't every 60 seconds when double stacked. Make it similar to Bio Adaptation where you get a permanent offensive buff with a permanent mitigation debuff, while selected. Just a few ideas.... I hate the crash as well. -WT Edit: Also....what if Rage had a build up similar to Fury but with a much faster ramp up time (to where you get the stacks as if you have double rage) and if it isn't allowed to ramp back down after a certain amount of time then you get the crash. This also works thematically.

  20. @Spaghetti Betty and/or anyone else Mids and in-game HP calculation doesn't seem to match and I'm wondering if anyone else is seeing that with Regeneration. I'm 200 HP short in-game vs. what MIDs says I should have and the shortcoming seems to be with Second Wind. My MIDs has SW with +700 HP but in-game it's only +500. Preciate it!
  21. Hmmm Looking at this I'm not sure it's worth picking up any more. Mine didn't need any more sustain. To avoid a respec I might just throw 5-pieces of ToN and a +5 End Mod I/O and see what it does. Anyone got any better ideas? -WT
  22. Right, was just about to say this. Reason I didn't know that it worked automatically is that any time I died someone would offer to rez me before Second Wind's rez kicked in. It seemed to take about ~6 seconds or at least that's what it felt like. Sort of feel bad that I hijacked @Spaghetti Betty thread though... Forgot that I already had my own on Regeneration....but I did also steal your build so...
  23. I will check again today to make sure I understand what happened better. But you are saying that if I have the buff active and on CD then I'm supposed to get a rez but if I've let the buff lapse then I won't?
  24. Second Wind is a Rez! I haven't looked at the in-game wording but MIDs does not say it is. I died with it off cooldown for the first time the other night and realized it was lit...clicked and I was vertical again. In the final build the recharge with be around 90 seconds. So it might be possible that it's ready if I were to fall, but my guess is not likely. So, then I have to ask, why build a rez into a power that we use to buff our HP? Wish they could just make it a background ability with a 90 second recharge. Like build it into an auto power and just give us a popup message like a rez from a teammate would.
  25. Are PvP sets out of your price range? 3 5-piece Panacea sets would help with global recharge. I would sacrifice your Taunt slotting for this. You could get 7.5% x3 over the 5% you get from the Perfect Zinger 4 piece.
