Toggle Hail of Bullets off, it skews defensive numbers by ~11%, but only lasts 5 seconds.

It is not fast, but it has quick moments. It still early days, but it felt like a roller coaster ride, slow.....then fast!! slow.....fast again!! Yeah I'm going to run it up a few more levels to get the feel. IF I choose Scrapper, I'm switching the secondary to Energy Aura. Tanker....I need to look at it too. But this may end up being a theme toon for fun. Something about a giant chainsaw sword!

I thought I read somewhere that the Power Surge crash was removed for Tanks, for Brutes as well? Also, is this just about getting the regen high? There's no plus damage, just mezz, resist and regen bumps? I couldn't find the change to Power Surge in the patch notes section, but I've never really tried to navigate them before and might've (most likely) missed it. I'm slotting up a TW/Ele Brute ATM...

I played the Brute version to 13 last night, a DFB and a few Steel Canyon radios at +1x5 with a friend. And now I have a question, what exactly procs momentum? Is it targets hit, swings taken in a certain amount of time, or is it a % chance with each swing? It didn't seem to make any sense to me because sometimes I got it right away on the first attack and then others after a few swings. I really liked that the animations change during momentum, helps highlight that it's popped and it looks cool. Also, which powers in TW are considered "skippable?" Right now in my build, and since the secondary is Ele, I've skipped Defensive Sweep. I've also skipped Follow Through, but mainly only because I wasn't sure how momentum worked (still don't) and being locked out of an attack waiting on a proc seemed less than ideal to my brain. Thanks! -WT

HAHAHAHA Stealthing with a Titan Weapon! My theme is Freakshow so I want Electric for the secondary BUT, they don't all sap and if I go Scrapper I'd want to change that to Energy, I think. I also wasn't sure how much of an end-hog TW was going to be so I hedged my bet with a set I know to be great help with endurance.

I'm actually giving Tank a consideration now. See if I can't find his build, Thanks!

I always set fury to 85%

I have a fun concept....I hope! TW/Ele/?? I'm leaning Brute, but when I put the build together on MIDs the damage looks anemic. Can anyone share their experience with TW, please? Thanks! -WT

Yeah I've got Snow Storm right now too. The -recharge is probably nice but meh.... I'm shopping for a replacement power as well.

My opposition to VG grows from the speed at which teams melt trash mobs. This speed make VG's value plummet. Even without VG the lieutenants and minions are gone in a couple seconds, leaving the couple of bosses and/or an EB. I spoke on this earlier in the thread. From that point the range debuffs are more than sufficient. However, VG's value grows when on a team that is not clearing mobs quickly, but that happens very rarely in my experience. OR, if on a team that does huge pulls, where there will be a multitude of EBs and bosses, like in the ITF, on the third mish. the tank pull everything to the bridge, then VG is valuable again. I haven't played this character in a week or so... I also haven't respec'd yet... Think I'll kill some pylons and see what the difference in times are with VG and without. Disagree.

Thanks for sharing! I hit 49 last night running in an ITF and there was no endurance help from the team. I ate blues the entire run and a few times ran out of endurance. My hope is that once I get the purples slotted and get the winter sets and ATOs catalyzed, get all the accolades, and my end recovery net gain gets up to 2.5 end/sec, then the blue bar blues will be behind me. But right now it's a rough road to hold but also totally fun!

It's a benefit, but just not one as good as the ranged, and you have to sacrifice much to make it work. I've been playing it and working with it, it doesn't matter as much as the ranged debuffs.
-
Yes, just that the actual values of those %s are tiny. The recharge reduction is 0.5 seconds, the endurance reduction is 0.8 and the damage out up is only increased by 50. Oh man I'm running dry as soon as I've got everything laid out. Energize has helped a great deal though. Just if I exemp down prob gonna be an issue again
-
To be more precise with your analogy you'd need to adjust the speeds between the conditions from 25 and 60 to 25 and 30. VG offers little in comparison to the ranged debuffs and it costs alot of end and you have to be in melee range for it to do anything. And if your dad was anything like me, he'd buckle the seatbelt then just sit on it doing whatever speed he wishes.

How do you operate with such little endurance recovery? I'm popping blues like a fiend. Was not enhancing Gale's damage just accuracy, KD, and recharge, also the set bonuses are nice. When you slot for KB>KD and also enhance the KD (up to 11) it hits them all like a bowling ball and none are left standing, Romans, of course, just laugh it off if they've buffed themselves. Also, Gale's base acc is straight garbage. Yeah I was wondering about the KB in Storm Cell, but again Sudden Acceleration's set bonuses were on point. Don't really think I need more defenses from Steamy Mist, it barely raised it any ways, I checked. I got a bigger jump out of enhancing the resists it offers. And Don't need KB protection as I will be flying the entire time. You just do a lil flip in the air and it's over. Freezing Rain swap was a solid gain of 1.5 seconds off recharge without a noticeable change to the -def The differences between a lvl 50 and a lvl 30 enhancement are tiny, fractions of changes happened. And I want the endurance recovery from Call to Arms, though the +3% dam in ER is sweet. Don't need melee def since I will be hovering out of range of melee. And I want the endurance recovery from the 2 piece GA. Teleport Target is a mule and only intended for teammate TP I'm totally up in the air about the last power pick, but I don't think Power Sink will be of great use since Storm/Storm scatters the mob so the chance to snag enough endurance from a the scared baddies doesn't seem likely when solo, also it costs 16 end. O2 Boost is a viable option just for a mule. I think you've over slotted Spirit Drain, IMO. MIDs duration data is incorrect and it's only up for 15 seconds (I may actually have this confused with the melee version). And since you took Oppressive Gloom, did you consider taking Thunder Clap to pair with it? That'd give you a Mag 4 stun as an opener that would stun everything from bosses down. I do the same thing with my Dark x3 Corr, nasty and keeps him super safe. Could you tell me if the fire proc in Cat 5 hits often or just when you first hit the power? My understanding is that pseudo pets like that don't really fire off procs. I like Storm/Storm, it's absolute chaos! And, prob -IMO- the coolest sets in the game. Preciate the tips and sharing your build! -WT

I based this off my Rad/MA Tanker.... Hope it helps. Tanker (Radiation Armor - Fiery Melee).mbd

This is my Rad/MA Tanker. Stout and good for all content, even star stuff. Swap out the secondaries and see how it looks to you. -WTTanker (Radiation Armor - Martial Arts)Final-1.3-proc_RT.mbd

Ok been working on the build for this, making tweaks based on play experience, and so my goals have changed. Endurance is a real limiting factor with a secondary like Storm Summoning. I don't think it'll be too bad at 50, but expemp'd or leveling it's a thing. So I worked on getting recharge up and helping the blue bar, all while trying to maintain good damage output. I think I'm close. Also, something I was working on was maxed out flight speed, which MIDs has at 102. MIDs is wrong...in-game it maxes at a disappointing 87 or 89 (with Afterburner it is 102). WHY SO SLOW?! Super Speed is 120. Any who, there is a respec in my very near future... Oh well, not the first time. And it gave me two slots back to help with endurance. Currently I've picked up Snow Storm, but don't have it toggled and plan to use it only if in a team with some endurance help. But, I could drop it and pick up Summon Adept from Mu and it'd be up alot. Snow Storm does have a fat -50 recharge though. I'd be interested in anyone's thoughts. Thanks! -WT Corruptor (Storm Blast - Storm Summoning)Gale_2.0.mbd

I agree that /Fire being the best secondary is up for debate, but the build is solid.
-
Yup! Did a 4* Aeon with mine...2 kins and 2 cold doms on the team as well... Total beast mode
-
Maybe my MIDs is out of date but Kuji-In Rin doesn't affect mezz from what I can see.

I don't know.... Regen is pretty good now. True it is not a "set it and forget it" secondary, and you can't just go AFK and come back to a standing hero, but it holds its own now. I've got a SS/Regen Brute that is amazing and a friend rolled a Spines/Regen Scrapper that absolutely wrecks +4 solo. Actually a lil jealous of his build lol. My take on Super Reflexes is mixed. Overall I think it's great but you will have to build in some healing somewhere, be it through procs or choosing a primary with a built-in heal. I prefer resist sets or healing sets. Radiation Armor is a personal fav with Electric a very very close second. @Neon_Ithalik if you like healing secondaries look into Bio, it's amazing...maybe a lil too OP, but hey so are Fire Blasters... Bio Armor is a jack-of-all-trade AND master of them all. It has two absorb shields, defenses, decent S/L resists, three adaptive armor choices (offense, defense, efficient), and a damage/debuff aura. Lot going for it....down side, you will have to like the adaptive armor effect, it cannot be turned off. Offenses, choose what you think is cool, because they all work, but if you don't think it's cool you probably won't play it. Most of all have fun! AND Welcome!! -WT

I went with: Alpha: Muscular Core <--MOAR damage Interface: Reactive Radial <--MOAR damage Destiny: Barrier Core (though Ageless Radial will actually increase damage) Hybrid: Assault Radial <--MOAR damage Lore: whatever flavor you want...
