Hello, everyone! You might have noticed a new option in your Tequila launcher, HC Beta 64-bit. We’ve been working on a 64-bit client and server for City of Heroes, and are looking to get some stress-testing done to see how it holds up, and deal with any glitches or bugs during the resulting test. We could just do some standard QA thing and have internal testing only, but that’s boring and dumb, so we figured we’d do something a bit more...fun. It’s been a minute or two since our last monster mash, so we figured a fun way to stress-test the server would be to hold another! Kick some NPC butt, have wildly overpowered characters, and do your part to see if we can make the Justin server spit out some bugs for us to smash this Saturday! Where? Kallisti Wharf on our beta shard, Justin! To get to Kallisti Wharf, you can use the Paragon City Monorail (Blue side) or the Smuggler’s Submarine (Red side)! To access it, load the HC Beta 64-bit option in Tequila, log in, and have a blast with us this Saturday! You can get prepared now, if you like, with the wildest character of your dreams to smash some NPCs. When? This Saturday, at: 9:00 PM UTC 10:00 PM UK 5:00 PM Eastern 2:00 PM Pacific 11:00 PM Europe This page will show you the time in your timezone This page will show you a countdown to the event What? Monster-mash bug-smash! We’re going to be bringing you some truly beastly monsters and NPCs to beat down on, so get your craziest builds up and ready for one heck of a smackdown. This is also a bug-smashing event, so if you spot any bugs, let us know so we can get ‘em smashed. Expect crashing, as we’re really going to be putting some stress on the server! Costume Contest! No specific theme this time, so come show off your fanciest threads to see if you can win fabulous prizes, and show off to all the other heroes and villains out there that you are, in fact, way cooler than them. Winners will receive rewards on the shard and character of their choice on live, so feel free to come on over and show off your best threads. Prizes? Winners of the Justin Costume Contest will receive the following prizes: 1st place: 500 Reward Merits, the Fashion Victim badge, and the title ‘64-Bit Costume Contest Winner’ 2nd place: 250 Reward Merits, the Fashion Victim badge, and the title ‘64-Bit Costume Contest 2nd place’ 3rd place: 100 Reward merits, the Fashion Victim badge, and the title ‘64-Bit Costume Contest 3rd place’ We may adjust these prizes and the number of winners based on how many people show up! Winners will receive their rewards on the shard and character of their choosing upon winning the contest. Why? The 64-bit beta is designed to increase stability and performance. As always, there may be bugs involved, and we’re hoping to ferret them out and smash them during this monster-mash, so we can give you a more stable, better-performing experience in the future! We’re working on future-proofing for modern operating systems, in case they drop compatibility with older software. For example, Apple will be dropping 32-bit support entirely in an upcoming update – something we want to head off with this update. More RAM usage is also a benefit to a 64-bit setup, which could open the door to additional upgrades including possible HD textures down the road! This could also increase performance via the more efficient 64-bit CPU instruction set. What is Justin? Justin-case you haven’t seen what we’ve been up to with this Justin server thing, here’s a quick rundown! Justin is a beta server, where we’re testing the bleeding-edge alterations we’re working on for the game, such as the new 64-bit client! It features some adjustments, bug fixes, and balance alterations to balance and powers that may be added to live once we’ve ironed out the bugs. To get access to Justin and the 64-bit client beta, just launch the HC Beta 64-bit option in Tequila! It’s also a neat way to test out builds! You can instantly set yourself to level 50, spawn in IOs and set enhancements to test out, and generate unlimited influence! Check out this guide or this popmenu from NobleKangaroo for more info. Justin is, however, a beta server, and regular wipes will occur - do not get attached to anything on this server, as wipes will happen, and often!

What are my options for challenging content?
GM Tempest replied to Illy's topic in General Discussion
To be honest, I would recommend trying power combinations that arn't in the 'meta'. Try an AR/Devices blaster! Or a Mercs MM! People talk about these things not being very viable in end-game content, but I took a Dual Pistols/Regen Sentinel well into the far reaches of endgame content with the help of some fantastic people and have had a blast with it. Try new things! -
Devs Stance on PvP and Balance of the Game?
GM Tempest replied to Solarverse's topic in General Discussion
One thing I can say from the perspective of seeing how devs in other games have had to handle PvP, it's a massive investment of time and energy. Balancing stuff around PvE content is difficult enough, but doing the same for PvP is an order of magnitude more difficult. Mobs don't really complain too much if a power works a bit better against them than theirs do against the player, but two players going at it will generate double the amount of critique on their powersets and how they interact, not to mention you have to alter certain functionalities for usage in PvP only, which adds another layer of complexity. Trying to balance all of that while also working on PvE is just...nightmarishly difficult. -
You should know better.

Hi, everyone! We have a special stress test event to announce today, happening this Saturday (June 15th) and we’re hoping you’ll be able to join us Justin-time to participate! Where? Kallisti Wharf on our beta shard, Justin! To get to Kallisti Wharf, you can use the Paragon City Monorail (Blue side) or the Smuggler’s Submarine (Red side)! When? This Saturday, at 21:00 UTC! This page will show you the time in your timezone This page will show you a countdown to the event What? Costume Contest We all know you love a good costume contest - so do we! We’ll be running a costume contest on Justin this Saturday! No particular theme for this one, so bring whatever you think can wow the crowd! Winners will receive rewards on the shard and character of their choice on live, so feel free to come on over and show off your best threads. We’ll also be streaming it on the official Homecoming Twitch channel for those of you just wanting to watch! Monster Mash We have harvested a fine selection of the meanest mobs, the angriest antagonists, the ugliest usurpers, the vilest villains and the foulest fiends for you to thoroughly trounce in your craziest builds. These freshly-picked, server-ripened mobs will be provided to you free of charge by our GM Artisans, who will carefully select only the finest vintages of angry NPCs to try to murder the everloving crap out of you and your friends. Prizes? Winners of the Justin Costume Contest will receive the following prizes: 1st place: 500 Reward Merits, the Fashion Victim badge, and the title ‘Justin Costume Contest Winner’ 2nd place: 250 Reward Merits, the Fashion Victim badge, and the title ‘Justin Costume Contest 2nd place’ 3rd place: 100 Reward merits, the Fashion Victim badge, and the title ‘Justin Costume Contest 3rd place’ We may adjust these prizes and the number of winners based on how many people show up! Winners will receive their rewards on the shard and character of their choosing upon winning the contest. Why? We want to put Justin through its paces in order to test a new database architecture - so please help us out and join in with the festivities! Assuming all goes well, this should result in significantly increased stability and reduced load time for the character select screen. What is Justin? Justin-case you haven’t seen what we’ve been up to with this Justin server thing, here’s a quick rundown! Justin is a beta server, where we’re testing the bleeding-edge alterations we’re working on for the game. It features some adjustments, bug fixes, and balance alterations to balance and powers that may be added to live once we’ve ironed out the bugs. To get access to Justin, just launch the Homecoming (Beta) option in Tequila! For those of you who have made accounts recently: Good news! During our Thursday maintenance window we will be copying all new accounts over to Justin’s database, allowing you to log in using the account you’ve created for the main servers. This process should be complete by Friday. Later This Month: Pop Culture Costume Contest! Your votes were cast, counted, and confirmed to indeed not be a Nemesis Plot. As a result...our theme this time...Pop Culture! Fashion, music, and the finest memes, bring your A-Game on for the most amazing pop-culture references you can think of. This will be part of our monthly Costume Contest we will be holding, of which we’re going to work on getting a schedule going properly. Additional details will come in a later announcement!

Reduce Arrow Sizes and Enable Tinting
GM Tempest replied to TheFightingCanadian's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
We do, in fact, read these boards. But we're a very small team compared to a full game development studio. We will miss suggestions sometimes, or have to put it on the backburner for more important issues. Situations like this, while it is something we'd take under advisement, isn't likely to be rectified on a quick timeframe. I do apologize about this, but, again, we only have so many hands to work on this. -
Hello, everyone! We have a few things to go over today, and all of them are some awesome things I’m excited to tell you about. Donations Wow, guys, you blew us out of the park again. Once again in just a short span of time (39 minutes to be precise!) we collected our goal of $7,967. We are incredibly thankful for your support, and are sincerely overjoyed to be working on such a beloved project for all of our players. All of us at Homecoming thank you from the bottom of our hearts, for all the well-wishes and donations alike, as every bit (even a kind word) goes a long way to helping us forge ahead into the future! We’ve also heard the frustration of those who have missed the last two donation drives and would like to be able to participate. We are looking into ways of doing this while still only raising the exact amount we need - stay tuned! Beta Server Hi, Justin! We’re so glad to have you. Just to clarify on what he’s here for, Justin is our beta server to test some ongoing balance and adjustment changes, as well as a nifty way you can test out an archetype or two with the level up command. Obviously, we are not quite like traditional MMOs where alterations have had a full QA cycle with their team finished before it hits a public test server. We don't have a large QA and design team to back us up, so this kind of thorough, early testing is important! As a result, we're going to be bringing you raw, unfinished, and often broken stuff, and work on smoothing things out in that test server as we move forward. In a large way, this could be called an alpha server! Things on the beta server will regularly be scrapped or completely changed based on how it performs during testing, so do not become attached to the characters, builds, or changes you see as they are, as server updates and wipes will be frequent. More Costume Contests! That costume contest was one heck of an awesome gathering! We enjoyed every moment of it, and all those costumes we saw were awesome. We can’t wait until the next one! Costume creators have gotten even more inventive over the years, and I’m always excited to see what cool combination someone has managed to come up with. To that end, we’re actually going to be working on a themed contest! To figure out what kind of theme to do, we’re actually going to be holding a vote. Place your votes on this post in the poll above, and we’ll be running the next costume contest with that theme! We’ll have specifics for the time, date, and what the awesome prizes for the winners will be at a later time! Discord Boosts So Discord has unleashed an interesting little update that allows Nitro users to Boost one of their favorite servers. We’ve just activated it on our Discord, and we’re looking to see if we can get to the maximum boost level - it will include all kinds of nifty stuff, from higher quality voice channels, to more emojis (yay!), and a nifty vanity URL! Users who boost the server automagically receive the “Nitro Booster” role giving you a new name color and a gem in the user list. If you feel so inclined, you can activate your Nitro Boost on the Homecoming Discord starting now! If you want further information on Discord Boosting, you can read up on their info page here - https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360028038352 Emoji Contest When we hit that maximum Discord boost, we’re going to have a lot of Emoji space to fill. To that end, CR CR Miss has an Emoji contest ongoing! If you’d like to participate, you can find out more information in the #emoji-contest channel on our the #emoji-contest channel on our Discord!

Homecoming Server Update (May 20th): What's Next?
GM Tempest replied to Jimmy's topic in Announcements
Altitis is fine. I have it myself. But your character doesn't get deleted if you let this time out, the name gets 'unlocked'. If you log in before someone takes the name, it's still yours. If you have dozens of level 1s holding onto names you *might* want, that's not how this was meant to be used. If you have a character you will rarely use...just log it in once in a while. This is a specific use of stopping people from 'camping' on names for no other reason than to prevent others from taking those names. For example, someone makes 'Hero Man' as someone mentioned, but isn't playing them. They just have the level 1 default character they made just to snag the name. Maybe you have a personal character you were going to make, and someone that doesn't particularly like you snags the name to prevent you from getting it? These are measures to put a dent in this kind of behavior. Ultimately if you want to hang onto the name, all you have to do is just log into the character once in a while. -
Hello, everyone! OVH Move: Thursday! (Probably) After a continued tug-of-war with PayPal we’ve finally managed to place the final order with OVH, and it looks like we’re on track for completing the server migration on Thursday evening, with a possibility of Thursday morning if our hardware installs go smoothly. Here are the key facts for you: Downtime could be up to 6 hours, but we are expecting it to be significantly less There’s a small chance it may slip to later in the week if any unexpected issues crop up Torchbearer, Excelsior, Everlasting, and Indomitable are moving from The Netherlands to Canada Halcyon is moving from The Netherlands to Germany, and will be renamed to Reunion (EU), and become the official EU shard (see here for a further explanation) Halcyon / Reunion is no longer a ‘temporary’ shard, it’s here to stay All 5 shards will still remain together with the same account system, shared auction house, etc - the only difference is the physical location We will be granting additional character transfer tokens to allow players to move to/from Reunion After the move, we will be enabling chat logging to deal with reports of harassment (see here for a further explanation) All shards will have their XP rate set to x1.0 The patch with custom XP rates will be deployed alongside the migration (see here for a further explanation) The Architect Entertainment server is being wiped to resolve data corruption (see here for a further explanation) NO OTHER DATA IS BEING WIPED, YOUR CHARACTERS ARE SAFE Support, Suggestions, Bugs, etc We wanted to clarify where to go and what to do in the event you run into issues, want to give us suggestions, report bugs, or look for support: Server stability or status reports should go to the #report-server-issues channel on Discord Bugs you’ve found should be reported in our Bug Reports section of the forum We have a Suggestions forum for you to suggest additions or balance changes to the game! The feedback that doesn’t fit in the context of the game itself should go to the #homecoming-feedback channel on Discord Support requests not related to the above should go to our Support portal! Respecs We’ve enabled free respecs to make up for the bug which caused the level 40 & 50 badges to not grant their free respec. You must log your character in to claim this respec. Each character will be awarded one respec. Free respecs will continue to be granted until Wednesday the 22nd of May, and will be turned off shortly afterward. GMs will not be awarding any more free respecs from this point onwards. Badge Contest We have a badge contest underway! The PVP zones only have about 3 or 4 exploration badges each at the moment, and it would be nice to bring the total to 8 exploration badges for each and add an exploration accolade like most other zones have. Have you seen an interesting sight or a lore-rich area in a PVP zone that deserves an exploration badge? Then post your suggestions here! Prizes for any names, descriptions, and/or locations we use (1 set of prizes per badge): 1x Gold Title "I Made a Badge!" on a character of your choice 100x Reward Merits 1x Heroes & Villains Super Booster 1x Rogues & Vigilantes Super Booster Costume Contest Winners Some of the winners from the costume contest we held on the forum still haven’t collected their prizes! Please get in touch with GM Miss either on Discord (Miss#1337) or the forum in order to arrange collection. Community Release - Server API We’re happy to announce our first Community Release! The API we use to provide our stats page is now available at https://github.com/homecoming-team/ServerAPI!

So during some stress testing with AVs, we discovered a new powerset: Thanos Snapping. I haven't found the common issue, but there is some power, or power interaction, that is causing swaths of people around it to crash at random. It's not enough to make events unusuable, but it's enough to cause issues if you want stability during those crashes. I'll have the players involved post their results and basic info here. Here's a format to follow!: Character Name: CPU: Graphics card: RAM: SSD/HD: Graphics Settings (Screenshot, or paraphrase ('all maxed out') Or go down the list individually if you're feeling thorough! Did you notice a specific power or ability fire off when you got Thanos-snapped?:

Hello, everyone! As promised, we’re back with some more news, and now we’ve got ourselves a bit to go over. We’ve got some big topics to cover, a special surprise from our occasionally competent coders, and news for our European friends, so sit down with your coffee/tea and enjoy! The Move To OVH Our move to Canada has unfortunately been delayed and might not happen until early next week due to the issues we had with our PayPal account (for those that missed it: The donations came in so fast that our account got locked, it did trip us up a bit, but thankfully we have access to the funds now, and are now in the process of preparing for the move to OVH!). As soon as we have a date locked in we will let you know. During the move, we will be wiping out all AE content; there is some residual instability caused by how the AE server was set up when we brought a second shard online. In the interests of ensuring a smooth transition, we’ll be wiping the AE missions so when we move we can start with a clean slate. If you have any AE missions you wish to save and upload after the move, please do so BEFORE the move happens. Again, ALL AE MISSIONS will be wiped. NO OTHER DATA IS BEING WIPED IN THIS MOVE. NO CHARACTER DATA WILL BE LOST. Chat logging will be re-enabled after this move, as reports of serious harassment have been reaching us, and we will need these logs in order to investigate and remove offenders. Logs will be kept for 7 days before being purged. No other data will be logged. Custom XP Rates XP has been a hotly-discussed topic over the last few weeks! We’ve heard all of your feedback - some people want the old pace back, some people want it to be faster - and we think we’ve come up with a pretty good middle-ground. Starting with the next patch, you will be able to select your own XP rate. The options will be +0%, +25%, +50% and +100%. However, there’s a catch - your Influence income will be reduced by the same amount (so if you select +100% XP, you will receive no Influence). You’ll be able to acquire these XP boosts for free from the P2W Vendor (or the Transact 4 Victory vendor in Praetoria). They last for 1 hour of in-game time each, but you can stack them for up to 8 hours. If you wish to revert back to the standard XP rate, you can delete the power by right-clicking on it in the Powers window. A preview from our private test server These boosts will also stop functioning once you hit level 50 - all Veteran Levels must be earned the old fashioned way! To clarify, this means the base XP rate of all shards will be dropped back to the default 100%. This also means that Patrol XP will work again (it’s incompatible with server-wide XP buffs). AE XP will still remain halved for all non-dev choice content. Please note that this is an experimental feature, it may be adjusted or removed at any time without notice. We’re also very open to feedback on this system, so please do let us know your thoughts! Official EU Shard - Reunion We’ve listened to our EU players, and have worked up a plan for you folks! After some discussions with the team, we’ve determined that taking Halcyon back to the EU will be our best bet to provide the best possible experience for our EU players! Halcyon will be renamed to ‘Reunion (EU)’ and will be hosted in Frankfurt, Germany, instead of in Canada with the rest of the shards. To be clear: Reunion will be listed alongside all the other shards, and still have access to the same shared global services (Global Chat, AE, and the Auction House). The only difference is the geographical location. In order to accommodate this move, we will be providing extra shard transfer tokens to allow all of our EU players to move over to their new home! Regular Maintenance Schedule After our migration to OVH, we will be establishing 3 regular maintenance windows in order to give you a more predictable downtime warning. Our schedule will be 12:00 PM - 2 PM UTC every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. This schedule may change over time, and will almost certainly shift during Summer Time. Our downtime will rarely fill this entire window, and we may not need to go down during every window, but we're reserving those slots for any maintenance that may be needed. Please note that emergency maintenance may still need to occur at short notice. Server Status Page It’s new! It’s now! It’s wow! It’s...the SERVER STATUS PAGE! Do You Want To Know More? Do you want juicy statistics? Do you want to Git Gud? Do you want to know if it’s just you that can’t connect, or did the server go down? How much RAM are we using? CPU load? How many people are breathing all of your air and stealing all of your XP? Find out now! Buy now, only $19.99 in BananaBucks! Or free. Free is good too. https://score.savecoh.com/status/ (For those wondering: Vigilantes and Resistance-Aligned Praetorians are tracked as Heroes, Rogues and Loyalist-Aligned Praetorians are tracked as Villains.)

Hello, everyone! So, it looks like we've run into a bit of a speedbump with PayPal after that donation drive. The amounts that came in were so fast, it tripped up their security system, and unfortunately, they're being rather mum on when they're going to release those funds. The good news is this shouldn't impact our move, but it does provide a bit of frustration on not being able to access the funds we'd earmarked for the move. We've included some screenshots for you so you can see what's going on from our end! After a phone conversation with PayPal, they clarified that at this point our only option is to wait for their security process to go through. Hopefully it shouldn't take long, but as of right now our only option on this is to do as they asked - wait. In some better news, though, Arenas are now working! Get out there and punch each other over minor disagreements! As mentioned in Discord, we've seeded the Salvage market, you will never need to bid more than 10K for common salvage, 100K for uncommon salvage, 1M for rare salvage, or 50K for a Brainstorm Idea. There is a nearly unlimited supply of salvage at these prices. AE missions will be wiped when we move, so save any of your AE missions on your local machine before the move, as you will need to re-publish them afterward! More news to come Soon™

Hello, everyone! I just wanted to say, first of all, wow. This community has absolutely blown me away, the support we received in our donation drive was so far beyond my wildest dreams! We reached our goal in less than 20 minutes!!! If that isn't impressive, I don't know what is. You all have made me, and the rest of the team absolutely overjoyed at your support. We honestly, truly, openly thank you for your donations, and for all of the well-wishes of those who wanted to but missed the window. When we open them up again, we'll announce it like before! In fact, you guys donated so quickly that our PayPal account was flagged for review! We’re working to get this resolved right now, and as soon as it is we’re going to get started on the move. In the future, something a little more robust than PayPal may be necessary. Stay tuned, we'll keep you updated on that front - we've got some options in mind, so we'll have some solutions soon. OVH Move We'll be moving to OVH soon, likely this weekend. This move is a big one, and we're expecting a transition time of around 6 hours. I do have some good news though, for you NA folk - the servers are going from The Netherlands to Canada! This should reduce latency a good bit. Additionally, we will be running at max-capacity full time after the move, instead of spinning up and down mapservers on demand, which should make for a more smooth experience for everyone involved! Once we've moved to OVH and settled in, we're going to look at regular maintenance windows, which should give you definite heads-up ahead of time for when we need to restart the servers or some such thing in order to do maintenance, patches, updates, whatever might be necessary that would impact your gameplay! We'll let you know when we have these things settled in.
-
Hello, everyone! It’s that time again, we’re here to provide you with some news and information about our ongoing plotsplans. This is not going to be a small bite-sized bit of information, so buckle in, we’re going for a ride! HALCYON (coming soontm) We have a new shard coming online soon to help balance out the load. This shard will be possibly temporary, a stop-gap solution to provide some additional room for you to help avoid the Queue debuff. This Possibly Temporary Server (see what I did there?) will be coming up…right about...now! In the event that we decide to shut the shard down, we will give you a full seven-day notice so you have plenty of time to collect your things, pack up, and transfer your characters to another shard. This shard cannot be confirmed or denied to be the Official Unofficial server for the Banana Republic. SERVER TRANSFERS AND XP BONUSES We have now re-enabled server transfers. The bug has been found, quarantined, and sprayed with RAID. Let us know if you run into any further issues, we’ll be monitoring the situation in the event more adjustments need to be made. This feature may be disabled again in the event we need to adjust it, so please bear with us in the event we must fix it! XP bonuses have been normalized across the board. That’s +50% XP above standard for all shards! Still plenty of leveling to get done, get out there! AE Nerfs are still in effect, this -50% debuff to AE XP will continue to remain until otherwise notified in announcements in here or Discord, this is an effort to prevent overloading the server with excess AE instances. We will adjust this moving forward at a later time. COSTUME CONTEST WINNERS This was a tough one! We went through a lot of your costumes, and we really have to say there were some truly fantastic ones out there. It took us a good bit of time to select the winners, but we have something for you now! Kenwe has won…FIRST PLACE! For a truly Heroic costume, Kenwe will be awarded the Honorable Hero title in-game, The Fashion Victim badge, and 200 Reward merits! Harvest has won…FIRST PLACE! For one of the most unique and inventive costumes we’ve ever seen, Harvest will be awarded the Costume Cultivator title in-game, The Fashion Victim badge, and 200 Reward merits! LycraBoy has won…FIRST PLACE! For a truly magnificent villainous look, we award LycraBoy with the Magnificently Maleficent title in-game, The Fashion Victim badge, and 200 Reward merits! Three costumes so fantastic we couldn’t decide which should get the gold, so we’ve ended up with a three-way tie for First Place. Heck of a way to start our first costume contest, you really gave us some truly fantastic ones to choose from! PATCH NOTES And now for something that’s a little more cut and drier, patch notes from our latest patch to the server that should hopefully possibly maybe arrive later today! GENERAL There was an issue with Respecs granted from leveling badges; they were following the old limit of holding a maximum of 3 respecs at a time, which means you got the respec for levels 10, 20 and 30 but not 40 and 50. This should be fixed now Added free respec for all due to the cooldown issue and the level 40 badge not awarding a respec (may take a day or two to arrive) Fixed the infinite cooldown bug affecting some powers Polished the Foorls TASKS Arcs marked Developer's Choice in Architect Entertainment will no longer be affected by the Architect XP reduction (This is an experimental change, and may not work as expected - in the event of bugs, we’ll work on fixes) The minimum level for Positron TF Part 1 has been lowered to 8 BADGES As the #badge-hoarders have noted, Echo: Faultline did not have any exploration badges. This patch fixes that oversight, returning three badges that were in the original Faultline zone before Issue 8 to Echo: Faultline, and adding 8 new exploration badges and a zone accolade Moved "Newsman", "Faultless Mystic" and "Apex" from Faultline to Echo: Faultline Added "Riveting", "Upcycled" and "Rock Bottom" to Faultline Added "Forsaken", "Pristine", "Claim Denied", "Spare Parts" and "Dug Too Deep" to Echo: Faultline Added "Epicenter", Echo: Faultline zone accolade. Added "Fashion Victim" for spending 50,000,000 inf on the tailor. Rewards a Free tailor token for your trouble FINAL THOUGHTS Honestly and truly, everyone, it has been a heck of a ride. From finding out City of Heroes wasn’t dead anymore, to seeing the title screen on my computer again, to becoming your Community Manager, I cannot even begin to tell you how amazing this has been for me. Through rough times and fun times alike, I have watched this community grow and shift, and I can’t tell you how proud I am of all of you, that you all have come so far, and of how amazing it is to be part of a team bringing it back to you now. To say this was a dream of mine is to understate how much I have adored this game, and the community it once held. I can only now hope that we’re going to keep growing, that we’ll keep showing everyone who once saved Paragon City that the Heroes (and Villains!) are back in town. Keep being the amazing community I know you all are capable of being. Now that I’ve kept you busy reading all of this, I have one last thing for you to do: Go. Hunt. Kill Skuls. - The Homecoming Team
