You must never have played Illusion as a control set... PA controls the battle field via their aggro... -
Holds vs other controls (Is Sleep better than Knockback)

I have thoughts, but just wanted to say, seeing a GM hit by KD is hilarious! -
Alright, I just got my Alpha to T3 and am perma-LF on this build. Generally, I use Dawn Strike and Photon Seekers as alternating Alpha AoEs. My ST attach chain is RS-IS-RS-GE (there is a short gap between sets) My AoEs are not as tight, I generally intersperse them in my attach chain or ignore them. The four I keep on the board are Luminous Detonation, Solar Flare, Dawn Strike, and Photon Seekers. I'm looking for ways to increase damage, increase recharge, increase positional defense, and/or increase Psi Resistance. I am currently working on unlocking the other slots and finishing up my Alpha, and am sitting on 800mil influence, so I was just trying to figure out if there was a better way to build this. As is, it works rather well, although there are some times when I have post-crash endurance issues (not so much as I used to have before the Alpha slot, but still, once in a while...). Anyways, just wondering what everyone thinks... 2 Vantablaq.mxd

Focused Feedback: Asymmetrical Shoulders

Going through my thoughts, gladiator missing, check Some issues with huge scaling, check Double plushies (don't forget the panda), check Desire for a neck slot for neck chain, corsair collar, arachnos collar, etc, check What I wanted to say has been covered. Looking forward to this on live -
I disagree, you should be able to change font size without having it bound to window size.

What I would like to see: Set global default (as has been mentioned here, being able to set a default position for UI items. I would also extend that to shop windows, Salvage, Recipes, Auction House) Set default position for dialogue boxes. It seems that the position for dialogue boxes with NPCs is attached to the NPC rather than your settings. It would be nice to have a default position that you control. Alter the color of the circles used in sliders, etc. so that 000000 displays can more easily be manipulated. A new screen to display your binds An easier way to set key map items to Not Set (I like having certain functions "Not Set", like Next Tray and Previous Tray, and while it is easy to add a new key, it is difficult to remove a key) Being able to change the font Being able to change font size for windows

It appears to be related to Shinobi. Was the character that was opening it a /Nin blaster?

Alright, tested a blaptroller with Rad/Sonic. Now, tested a blastroller with Ice/Sonic. The base DPA for the three ST-Ranged Holds are Freeze Ray (137.64), Bitter Freeze Ray (69.07), & Echo Chamber (37.46). - Let's be frank Manipulation ST holds: Echo Chamber (37.46), Positron Cell (41.21), Strangler (33.25), & Ice Arrow (16.86) all need increased DPA. - I also feel Blast ST holds (outside of Ice): Tesla Cage (4.32) & Abyssal Gaze (53.05) need adjusted DPA as well. - Choking Powder (64.32) Is probably about right. - Time Stop needs either an added damage element or an improvement to its -Regen. Being able to slot all three ST Hold on Ice/Sonic with both Devastation and Lockdown procs makes keeping Echo Chamber ranged preferable. Sonic Barrier's resistance should be broad-spectrum (all except Psi, like Sonic Dispersion) and possibly higher (10%) and/or the absorb portion should be increased. Currently it seems to under-perform. Disruption Aura still feels underwhelming. Overall, Ice/Ninja is a better Blastroller combo (with the passive damage - especially with the new adjustments, in addition to stealth and Blinding Powder) even though Ninja does not have the chance for hold. Sonic does contribute some to the Blastroller experience, especially for those focused more on the blast and less on the troller. That being said, the other disadvantage of this set for blastrolling is that you have to give up your range to make it truly effective.

It was likely Shinobi related.

I understand your point, however because Sonic is more blappery than Martial (although I tend to go blapper on martial as well), creating distance can cause issues. And while pinning (my main is an Ill/Storm troller, and I used to run Hurricane, so I know all about pinning) is a good strategy, it is limited and small mistakes take the enemy out of your sole -res power's range.

Focused Feedback: Teleportation Pool Revamp

I had a similar experience with Gaussian, but did not spam, so it was just combat testing. Basically, Gaussian is not useful in this power - or it is not working at all in this power (0 cooldown other than the third hop may be causing issues with the formula). -
It seems that passive procs (that's my guess) are resulting in the Present Opening animation playing. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Whilst the chance for hold mechanic is nice, removing all the - res save for the aura seems a little strange.

Repel+KB=craziness ensues

I agree about migraines being less than ideal (my longest migraine lasted 64 days, and I don't want to think about migraines). Vertigo is likely a better choice. Testing out the powers: Sonic Thrust having a repel component is fun, but make the power less effective. I would personally prefer Sound Booster to be changed to an auto power that has a containment-like bonus to targets that are suffering from Hold. I think it would provide a feel to the set that matches the Blaptroller vibe. The absorb from Sound Barrier seems a little underwhelming, but that may just be because I can't see it doing anything. Also, because you are going to need to Blap to make use of Disruption Aura, the set may need a tad bit more durability than it currently has - especially outside of Sm/Le. Disruption Aura may need a little more oomph. Sound Cannon doesn't resonate with the rest of the set. Overall, this seems to be a good set. Not overpowered, but definitely leans towards Blaptrolling. I can see issues with survivability as this set is kinda aggro-magnet-ish. I do, however, enjoy having a playable sonic set.

@siolfir, I didn't catch the radius. that is decent. However, your assessment of it being easier to control bosses would only apply to Trollers or Doms because they have inherent benefits to increase magnitude that affect control AoE Holds' chance for increased magnitude. In other words, a Defender would have a lower chance to hold a boss with EMP than a Troller or Dom with a standard AoE Hold. Basically all the AoE Holds need to have their recharge reduced. I also agree that the power could be good with reasonable recharge and either a shortened or removed crash. Basically, as it is, you are creating a lot of aggro while losing your ability to defend yourself. From a solo perspective the powers are completely useless. From a team perspective, you are sacrificing too much to make it a good move against anything other than a GM (where that -regen outweighs removing yourself from the fight for 15+s).

Oops, sorry, I didn't catch that (wasn't in the power description). I moved it to the doesn't need to be fixed area. First, I would only call Fulcrum overpowered as compared to other support powers. In terms of the current game, it is about where it should be. Also, while it is possible to perma it, reducing the recharge to 150-180ish range would reduce the overall need for global recharge and provide a lot more flexibility for builds. Currently, most support and control sets "require" Hasten. The reason Overgrowth is in the tweak category is because of the Hasten requirement it is not fine as is. The reason that Chrono Shift is in the needs improvement is the same, except with irony. Currently, for the most part, Hasten is not "required" outside of Control and Support powersets. This puts these sets at a huge disadvantage in a game that already makes Support and Control much less consequential in the endgame. As such, I think moving away from the ultra-long recharge that currently exists in these powers is reasonable. (These are not Armor god-mode or Blaster nuke powers, these are bread-&-butter powers that define the set)

Why not just grab Targeting Drone from Devices?

Just a quick overview of my thoughts. I'm considering these from both Team and Solo perspectives, but I don't PvP, so I can't tell you about that perspective. No need to change. Cold Domination - Heat Loss - Lack of -Rec makes -End fairly pointless. Also, -End doesn't match other powers, -Rech would be more thematic and useful. (also, it would be nice is the -Res was applied before the -Recharge)... Dark Miasma / Darkness Affinity - Dark Servant - Working fine (better with control sets). Electrical Affinity - Amp Up - It is useful on Galvanic Sentinel and some allies. Not a big fan of ST Ally buffs, but this is one of the better ones. Kinetics - Fulcrum Shift - A gamechanger. This is the only T9 that may be slightly overpowered. On the other hand, given the state of Support compared to DpS or Armor sets, bringing other T9s to this level is justifiable. Team only / needs minor adjustments. Empathy - Adrenalin Boost - Without a pet in the set, this is useless for players that solo a lot. But it is a pretty decent situational power. Nature Affinity - Overgrowth - The recharge of this power needs to be dropped by 25-50%. Pain Domination - Painbringer - Great on a team, useless solo. Recharge kinda sucks. Poison - Venomous Gas - This is great for Support that likes being in Melee, but endurance cost is a little much. Storm Summoning - Lightning Storm - This is a really nice power if you know how to use it. The End Cost is a little high, but it works well for slightly longer battles. I can't find confirmation on this, but I believe that its attacks are similar to chain lightning, but has a very limited range. Increasing the chain range would make this better. Needs improvements to be worthwhile. Force Field - Force Bubble - A fun power that needs a Hurricane-ish debuff and lower End Cost to be justifiable. Sonic Resonance - Liquefy - If you wanted Freezing Rain with a timer that is five times as long and doesn't give you as good of debuffs... Thermal Radiation - Melt Armor - It's okay. The Recharge is terrible, the duration could be longer, and the End Cost is a tad high. The effect itself is nice thought. Time Manipulation - Chrono Shift - If any support set should be able to go without Hasten, this is the one. Unfortunately, Chrono Shift requires Hasten for Perma. Cut the Recharge by 25-50% and this would be a good power. Needs a complete overhaul. Radiation Emission - EM Pulse - Possibly the worst of the T9s on this list. No -Rec makes the -End not very useful. Only damages robots, a crash, terrible recharge. What is there to like? Oh, it does kinda look cool... Trick Arrow - EMP Arrow - Almost as bad as EMP, but the fact that it's ranged means you aren't in the middle of the melee when you crash. Needs to be replaced. Traps - Time Bomb - One of the few Support powers that works better solo (outside of Storm Summoning). On a team it is completely useless. With the extremely long timer, it is fairly useless solo as well. That probably explains why it is confront-level popularity. If any power (other than confront) could justify a breaking of the cottage rule, this is the one. It is not as bad as EMP, but it is hard to see how this could be fixed rather than replaced.

As someone who is photophobic, I would prefer perma-night year-round... but I understand some crazy people like daylight. I'm just saying, it would be nice to have perma-night a couple of weeks. People can see their "normal" costume colors inside buildings...
