  1. Have you ever tried Confuse? It is a similar type of fun, but you have more control over it. Superior Invisibility stealth does not suppress (although the defense partially suppresses and the threat reduction also suppresses).
  2. Did you miss Bombardment?
  3. Of course you could get the same effect with Superior Invisibility, but that limits you to a specific set.
  4. For sets with Stealth powers: Sentinel route, you have /Dark or /Energy Blaster route, you have /Ninja or /Devices Defender or Corrupter route you have Cold, Dark, or Storm. My thoughts were that you could skip the Concealment pool, go Arch/TA on Blaster with stealt- proc Super Speed. Then 2-slot some Bombardments to up your range and use Flash Arrow to give yourself some extra room to work in. To replace Misdirection, take Flash Freeze from the Ancillary pool with the Fortunata Hypnosis placate proc in it. Something like this: Aerro 02.mxd
  5. Ranged: Gladiator's Javelin - 2-set bonus: Enhancement (Range) 7.5% (PvP) Ranged AoE: Javelin Volley - 2-set bonus: Enhancement (Range) 7.5% (PvP) Bombardment - 2-set bonus: Enhancement (Range) 5% Sniper: Experienced Marksman - 2-set bonus: Enhancement (Range) 5% Corruptor/Blaster/Sentinel ATOs also give set bonuses (7.5->10% bonus for 3-set Corruptor/Blaster or 2-set Sentinel). Maximum global range boost is 55% PvE, 77.5% PvP. Maximum range for an ability 376.2 PvE, 428.7 PVP Psionic Lance - Frankenslotted to optimize range in addition to giving reasonable performance: 359 PvE, 411.5 PvP. I may need to make a Psi-Blaster to test out how this feels...
  6. There will be a set number of merits as per my proposal. However, the RNG suggestion would help adjust for a reduction in merits caused by streamlining, but designed to favor a different playstyle (using existing mechanics [Vanguard Merits already have this in place]).
  7. I like the updated proposal. It offers a much more even playing experience with motivation towards strategic play. If there were a way to show enemies/objectives within 100' of sentinels on the map, that would also be a nice touch.
  8. Been considering this and thought about a small amendment. If this proposed solution occurs then it is likely a 10-20% reduction in merits is likely. To balance that out (and give play-style choice) I propose that Reward Merits (awarded to all team members) be added as a random drop. That means that if people choose to make every mission a kill all/kill most they will likely receive more merits to counterbalance the reduction in TF-end merits.
  9. The three issues most people have with TFs are: Too many defeat-all missions (your a task force, you should be task-oriented and focused on a goal rather than mass slaughter) Too much zoning (not as big of an issue anymore, but still annoying -- mainly a time sink that takes you out of the experience) Too many hunts [looking at you Numina] (This seems unfocused and more of a time sink than a valuable use of time, also target mobs are often under-level) My proposed solution: Change most defeat-all missions into assassination missions where the target is randomly placed on the map. Where possible, shift missions to one zone. Replace hunts with Zone ambushes - go to waypoint to find target, when in proximity, you are met with 1-3 waves of ambushes.
  10. A stealth proc in Super Speed will make any AT able to do this. However, Superior Invisibility is the premiere stealth power in the game. On the other hand, stalkers have the highest cap (with Arachnos a close second). All of my toons have some form(s) of stealth, it's just a matter of how you go about it. If you choose to go the blaster route: /Ninja has a nice stealth with surprise attack bonus mechanic, /Devices has a stealth that doesn't supress, also /Martial has burst of speed which (when combined with combat teleport and some macros) provides a unique fighting experience (although you'll probably have to rely on super speed +stealth proc to get the feeling that you are looking for).
  11. Thanks for all your work! btw, Peacebringer Energy Flight seems to be a bit wonky (numbers are off).
  12. I like: increasing secondary effects Vulnerability Mark adjustments Overwatch (though the numbers may need to shift) I don't like: tying vulnerability mark to T1/T2 powers feast/famine meter style play O/D stancing style play The Overwatch feature and Marking adjustments could completely replace Opportunity modes (with some adjustments to values). Removing the meter and moderating the effects would make this much more consistent and reliable. Suggestions: Simplify - any ST attack will create a mark that has a -15% resist that does not stack from the same caster; allies within 100' gain +7.5% ToHit and +End/Heal on Mark defeat (scaling by level and target HP/End). Revise - your ideas are above average and interesting, revising your post to make the ideas more accessible would increase accessibility.
  13. It would be nice if we could actually click on badge/plaque locations on the map too... but that is just me dreaming...
  14. 2020 is hindsight!
  15. Surprised nobody's mentioned Time or Temporal Manipulation. Using Time Shift to create a warp around 2020 that prevents any time travel to or from that period.
  16. I only have three level 50s (although I had more on live) and only one of them uses Hasten. I still have perma-Light Form and perma-Mental Link on the two that don't have Hasten. I started using Hasten before it was seen as the ultimate power boost, but I don't see it as being the end-all-be-all of high-end builds.
  17. Just an idea of how binds can be used while still being able to see the countdown timers. One thing to be careful off, "PowExecLocation Target" can get broken with certain powers at times (like Nadoes).
  18. Superior Invisibility is the best stealth power in the game (just be careful, the threat level reduction suppresses in combat or when you click a glowie). GI stacks with other stealth powers, so if you have a reasonable team, it will be a welcome buff. It also offers the threat reduction (suppresses in combat), so it is possible to allow an entire team to run to the end of a mission map for speed runs. Support Pool stealth powers stack with GI and offer resists, making them great for team combat stealth.
  19. One thing that helps is learning how to use Macros and Binds, for example I keep these three macros in the 8-9-0 slots for my first three trays: /Macro_Image "UmbralAura_Antagonize" "Human" "PowExecToggleOff Dark Nova$$PowExecToggleOff Black Dwarf$$GoToTray 1" /Macro_Image "ArchetypeIcon_Warshade" "Squid" "PowExecToggleOn Dark Nova$$GoToTray 2" /Macro_Image "AlignmentPower_FearIncarnate" "Lobster" "PowExecToggleOn Black Dwarf$$GoToTray 3" (Macro_Image icon names can be found here - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uHUi6BWFTYj4wbfGBs3LjZL88Fym6B-8EwDr18YZcY8/edit#gid=852710698 ). This makes it really easy to manage my form changes with appropriate trays and cases where the tray flips but the toggle doesn't change. Warshades also got a recent upgrade to their TP powers, so those are nice to play with as well (and are even better with PowExecLocation macros or binds). Warshades are good, but require more strategy and thought than most other ATs in the game.
  20. Wait, I think you are playing that game backwards... anyone who gets it wrong takes a drink...
  21. @dtj714On testing, you can get this to work if you restrict the list to just the separate form powers (/bind k "PowExecLocation 0:Max Shadow Step$$PowExecLocation 0:Max Black Dwarf Step")(/bind J "PowExecTarget Target Starless Step$$PowExecLocation Target Black Dwarf Step") But you will need a separate macro for Shadow Recall (/bind u "PowExecLocation 0:5 Shadow Recall")
  22. Sorry, don't know where my brain was. T1 for both Manipulation and Support sets should be looked at.
  23. On the subject of T1s, perhaps Manipulation set T1 holds and pushes need more thought than Control T1s...
  24. I understand the issue of rejecting abilities with slots (perhaps this may require a special warning, or enhancement removal mechanic). However, because the process of power removal is sufficiently intentionalized, it is unlikely that many people will accidentally remove slotted powers, so even without an added mechanic it is not likely to cause that many support requests.
  25. When I just came to HC, I used to start off every character by the same process. Organize the HuD and choose a color that matches the toon Switch out my origin attack for throwing knives Pick up Sands of Mu, Nemesis Staff (non-Origin), & Blackwand (Origin) Pick Ninja or Beast Run Pick a Combat-Buff Pet Get Inner Inspiration Earn 3.1mil through marketeering Buy Reveal, Rez, Random Mutation, & Mystic Fortune Now, I am looking back and realizing that I can reject Throwing Knives, Sands of Mu, Nemesis Staff (non-Origin), Blackwand (Origin), & the Combat Buff Pet to clean up my powers bank, but I can't get rid of Prestige Sprints. I understand they are a package deal, so being able to keep one and dump the rest may be too much to ask, but it would be nice to be able to get rid of them on toons that don't use them.
