I do have a low-level Sonic Devices blaster that I haven't quite advanced on (too many alts, too little time). Attaching the build.HK F33 405.mxd

I like Dual Pistols thematically, and its use of incendiary ammo rather than a build up works well with Devices. (playing with a build...) B'g Bad'da'boom - Blaster (Dual Pistols).mxd

A couple of things: I tend to use confuse alot on Mind/ and that does not create containment Drain Psyche (from Psi Assault for Dom) is great for late game /Mind has a lot of sleep, but that doesn't work well with many of the AoE oriented powers more common in support sets I'd be leaning Dom, but just go through and look at the secondaries before you decide. Do you have a theme?

To clarify, perception range is the distance that your character can see (-target stealth) . Rendering is a separate issue. You have to be in perception range however, the target does not need to be rendered.
-
One thing to remember is that the target needs to be in your visual field and perception range.

Oh my, I thought they were fixed price.

I just store a billion on each of my 50s. Another idea would be to bid 9.99m on 10 Super Packs. That's basically 100m, multiply that by 200 and you have 22b worth of storage space on one toon slot. Yes, you will have to email it, but is the small convenience of an account-wide base bank worth the headache of the programming time it would cost?

Not quite accurate, but basically how markets, in general, work. You might have some l33+ players try to drop the price of a certain item and then a larger group of players may swoop in and raise the price of the item 10 times higher, like gamestop. The "tax" doesn't prevent that, but it will make buying at rare salvage at 360k and reselling at 400k unprofitable and improve the stability of the market in the way a government should have prevented the shorting of Gamestop in an attempt to profit from tanking the company.
-
It decreases short-selling (buy for 99 sell for 100) which would encourage market - based inflation that would harm people who don't play the market. This becomes more pronounced when dealing with large ticket items and preventing minor fluctuations from becoming market - altering fluctuations. The deflationary pressure also prevents major game-wide inflation seeing as there is a lot of influence entering the system and very little leaving it. Finally, you don't have to list items for storage, so you can literally use it as zero cost storage space accessible almost everywhere.

Clarke's 3rd law. Science would seem appropriate for first gen Coralax, ones in game I would probably consider natural.

Weekly Discussion 86: Base Building Wish List

A new, simplified, item selection menu would be nice. It is tough trying to remember what category specific items fit in. -
Cast time makes a huge difference in the calculations...

Weekly Discussion 86: Base Building Wish List

I'll try that (I wonder if I can figure out a way to hide/mask a portal in a TARDIS...). Edit: Thanks for the tip, not as smooth as I would like, but it is kinda cool to be able to enter my TARDIS (now it is decoration time...). Edit Edit: I would like to update my previous request to make a Tech Portal in the shape of a Police Call Box... -
Weekly Discussion 86: Base Building Wish List

A couple of things I would like to see: The option to build an extension of your base in either a portal or a British Police Call Box... Letters with serifs The ability to have a crawl space so you can hide a tunnel behind a picture or sofa... Hexcode tinting choices Item Combiner - The ability to organize a group of objects and link them for moving or save them as a new object so that you can repeat the pattern in a different place (this would also be extremely useful for renovations... Probably think of some other stuff later. -
Weekly Discussion 85: T1 Immobilises in Control Sets

Now your argument (increasing recharge to 6s) is making more sense to me. You are not talking about power damage, but proc damage. If they change the proc damage formula (there has been some talk of adjusting procs in the not so distant future) then you are left with ST immobilizes on longer recharge with less damage... Not sure that is the best path towards improving ST Imms. -
Weekly Discussion 85: T1 Immobilises in Control Sets
Zepp replied to GM ColdSpark's topic in General Discussion
Do ST immobilizes follow the standard damage formula? I ask because they seem underwhelming on two fronts, lower damage than similar recharge attacks and being long DoTs that generally have mobs die before all their damage is dealt while also messing up sleeps and placates (thus making them incompatible with two forms of real control). If they are below standard damage than bringing them in line and making them less DoT oriented where appropriate would help with that aspect. Edit: I understand that immobilize is considered a control and placate is not. However, as a person who plays trollers a lot, I define controls as powers which prevent mobs from attacking while slows and immobilizes are in the debuff category. -
Just double checking, Dark Nova Emanation has no knockback but can accept KB IOs?

Doom's Kheldian Builds [ARCHIVED] No further updates.
Zepp replied to Doomrider's topic in Peacebringer & Warshade
Also remember, binds work in reverse order (right to left). So it is actually better to do HumanPower$$ToggleOff$$ToggleOff than the other way around to drop out of forms into a human form power. Also, you can keybind number keys...- 145 replies

I am pretty sure that it caps at 48s. That means (times counting from the end of the first cast): DE1(0s)Burnout(1s)DE2(4.2s)other(52.2s)DE3(55.4s)other(103.4s)DE4(106.6s)other(154.6s)DE5(157.8s)other(205.8s)DE6(209s)... So, if I am correct, then it would be impossible to get 6 out at a time (by 9s). It is, however, fairly easy to get it below 60s recharge without incarnates or FFB procs. So if you want to use Burnout, you can pull off five at a time without too much struggle (for a short while). It's also possible to maintain 3 at a time with no Hasten, FFB procs, Burnout, or incarnates.

Weekly Discussion 85: T1 Immobilises in Control Sets

Note: I do not take ST immobilize; I am not alone in this. Observation: Some have requested damage-related adjustments / more variety of accessible IOs. Query: Would creating 1-3 Immobilize sets along the same lines as the new Endurance Modification sets (Power Transfer & Synapse's Shock) wherein damage is modified by some/many of the enhancements change your calculations? -

Weekly Discussion 85: T1 Immobilises in Control Sets
Zepp replied to GM ColdSpark's topic in General Discussion
I generally do not take them because they are too weak and I prefer real controls over immobilization. What is annoying is that some real controls (fear and confuse) do not create containment, so if I want to optimize damage I have to give up control. I think the only immobilize I have in a build at the moment in a DomTroller is Chain Fences (AoE), but that is because it contributes to Endurance Drain in a meaningful way. I don't have any single target immobilizes in any non-blasters, and I don't think I've slotted it in any of my builds. -
I have a psi blaster that I am working on now, looking at getting bombardment / experienced marksman 5% range bonuses and splitting the ATO with the range bonus for a 45% range oost. Add on a cardiac Alpha and range up the wazoo...

My thoughts were: Power Siphon should be like Reach for the Limit. (auto with ability-specific timers) The animations feel long (although the DpA is actually fine). The sound is a little annoying.
