[The cycle ending, and beginning again...?]

This made me wonder, is there anything at all being done to promote recruiting new players? 

As an outsider looking in my impression was "The Talks™" kept or curtailed the current leaders from advertising or recruiting. 

Hard to get new players if they have no idea you exist.

[Question regarding removing information]

Recently while updating the Oracle page and adding some info to the p2w temp power section I wanted to remove some of the information on the items pages. Specifically the information that is no longer relevant to Homecoming. 

Certain base items and p2w items originally  were recipes that were bought and crafted. On homecoming this was changed to just purchasing the item.

 

My hesitance to is it ok to remove info or are we keeping it for historical reason? I assume the Original Wiki covers this but I wanted to check and make sure. I am new to this stuff and don't wanna mess anything up. Figured safer to ask first 🙂

Having a discussion with someone and the question was whether or not DDR could be added or it has to be build into the powerset.

I thought it had to be built in ala Energy Aura. But maybe I am missing something. 

 

I tried some searches on the Wiki but could not find a decent article discussing it.

Only think I would add about Knockback is the surprising number of players I still run across who do not even know about the KB to KD IOs that are now available.

So I don't think it is out of line to at the least ask if they know about them.

I think a lot of this could be helped with fixing the team/league invite system. It has a couple of major annoyances that is playing a big part in all this.

From Issue 20 notes:

Which means Musculature would enhance the damage of Judgement.

I did a solo ITF with normal difficulty with my Bots/Time MM and Rommy went absolutely batshit. He run all over the map, mostly climbing the cliffs behind the building he spawns at.

I was able to hold him a few times spamming my holds but he did a lot of running around. And this made getting the bots into place a serious pain which really added to how long it took me to finish.

So you may need at least a temp flight power.

When I have had this happen as the team lead it was because one of the other members of the team was not in the zone. Once everyone was in zone I could invite.

Back in 2019 sometime, they had a bug with some zones missing a floor. And people where falling through. One of the Devs called it a "foorl" instead of floor and it kinda stuck and became a running joke.

Ok, I misunderstood how it worked. I thought the 1 added to the name it was the end of it.

So it basically gave me a free name change when I logged the character in for first time, that's actually pretty cool.

 

I moved this guy a couple of months ago and just forgot about him....which is why I didn't put 2 and 2 together.

I am curious as to why I was forced to change a toons name today. I hadn't played him in awhile now and got this when I did:

 

To be clear I don't mind changing it. Just wondering why I had to ? What was wrong with Syx1 ? Which was Syx but 1 got added when I moved servers.

About a year and a half ago Cipher  started a online "build and character profile browser"  but as we all know a lot has happened in the past year. 

I haven't been through the thread for it , so not sure if it mentions specifically if it would track badges. But "character profile" seems to imply it would.

You can see your shift in Combat Attributes windows:

 

 

 

You notice mine says 3. it will only show 2 or 3 in Incarnate Trials, Ouroboros, and Pocket D. Otherwise it will just show 1,becouse only the Alpha level shift applies to all content. Whereas Lore or Destiny each give you an Incarnate Shift.

Yes, but I did have to create the "binds" folder in the "live" folder. I rarely use binds, mostly do macros.  Should folder name be binds or bind ?
