Hey, all - I'll be on this eve, probably logging in around 5 pm EST.
-
He wouldn’t be stealing ribbons off soldiers he killed unless they were somehow fighting in their class A’s. (I guess he crashed the Army Ball?)
-
Roger that, hombre. I don’t have the discord channel at my fingertips but will get it to you. Just FYI: you are allowed to sell off things like converters to gain $$ for DOs SOs if you wanted them. The only what drops rule mainly applies to IOS.
-
Yes you can buy the components in AH. Speaking of, Acro has been somewhat busy crafting various IOS. Not a great deal of progress on getting full sets, but there are a couple with 2. I think most of them are around L38-40. Hope other folks can make use of them. As far as teaming, my usual play time is THU evenings. Hope to catch some of you!

Wearing cowpoke gear is not a requirement.
-
Welcome, you demon from hell!:-) Looks like I'll need to go back and add some cowpoke elements to the toons. Speaking of: any costume is fine. However, might be a good idea if, when we ran in teams, we donned the western wear from an alt slot. Vaya con carne, Riders.

Friday mornings are less predictable for me than THU evenings. But...next week I'll seek to check in.

Roger that, hombre. Hit me up for an SG invite, if yer so inclined (tips hat(.

Any Flashback story arcs surprise you?
cranebump replied to JasperStone's topic in General Discussion
Man, that Vahz wasting disease. It's a pain in the arse. And Crimson was where I felt like one of my mains really came into his own. The mishes just "fit" the character, and Malta felt like a true nemesis for him. But of all the arcs I know of (and actually recall) I really enjoy Bane Spider Ruben's. Leading that throng of bad guys through a Longbow beatdown is just plain fun. -
THAT guy would likely kick my vanilla toon's ass.:-) This version of Acrobattle is my old-school, slow-grind, craft-only-what-drops character (in the Long Riders SG). I've got him going fairly well on IO's, but the nice sets are lacking a bit. Which is fine, since that's the idea. I had to gobble some Insps and plink-plink the other, plain ol' Nem. When he threw his impenetrable shield up, I danced with his minions, dropped them all, then returned to take him out. But to kinda give a feel for how long it took, he activated that damned shield twice-once with the minons, once after they were down. I plinked him with some basics until it dropped before finally dropping him. He was still easier than Nosferatu in the earlier mish. That dude was an EB who conned purple. In any case, it was nice to know you can run the basic mishes on default and still be successful (albeit, slowwwwwly...).

Omega and Track had an abbreviated duo of clock smashing (and getting smashed by some nasty orange groups). Tracklash loves teaming with Tanks. They just slide away from him to the big guy.:-) I'll be on for sure next THU evening, likely around 6 pm EST, if the Riders wanna make it a team thing. Tracklash is ready to run the Hollows. Meanwhile, Acro is attempting to solo Pos1, and Whippie is embroiled in various missions in IP. Good times!

Dat's what happens when you do the Fandango on someone's ass.:-)
-
Why, yes. It’s MoAB. Master of abbreviations:-)

Punctuation is key.:-)

Maxwell Anderson's arc. Running with a vanilla brute. Twenty missions. 20! And then maybe you get Nemesis. But, of course, that's not him...or is it? [least it was worth 48 merits]
-
Well, it took a LONG time running through this arc, but, 20 missions later: And 48 merits to boot! Not to worry, folks. I still have Maxwell Anderson's second arc.:-/
-
Welcome, Omega Fury! Well...just as soon as I can get you an invite.:-)

Speaking of the original post: has that ever happened to anyone else? I ended up with not one, but two of Anton's missions spawning redside while I was over there badge hunting. I clicked on the mish before coming back redside, and Anton just sent me to doors in PO. I was like, "ooookay." Woulda stayed there the rest of the run, but I had to go talk to Azuria. Now, why she wouldn't come Redside is beyond me. Trouble seems to come to her anyway. Thought maybe she should return the favor.:-)

Or I am. Works either way.:-)

With SGM Acrobattle at 40, he's going into semi-retirement (to run Sweet Eats bakery in KR, and hang out with his son). Oh, he'll be there when called upon, hombres. Make no mistake. With our millionaire tech genius Fletcher Finley (aka Whipsmart) aboard, and now at MSG rank, he's brought on a down-and-out rogue looking to start over. I give you TRACKLASH! Name: Galen Blake Codename: Tracklash Power Sets: Dark Melee/Regeneration*/Super Speed (looking to have lotsa rapid-fire fistage):-) Source: Technology Origin: Rogue-turned-hero with a score to settle After I lost my legs, I thought it was over. I thought I - me, myself, everything - was over. But then Fletcher Finley constructed me some some legs. Fashioned me a suit. So now...I'm back out there. Mixin' it up with the bad guys. It's a long road, starting over, but I can tell you this - the Family are gonna regret not finishing me off. *Yup...taking my life into my own hands with that one. RIDE, HOMBRES! RIDE!

Understood. The Riders do allow Merit conversion to grab cash, fyi. Trekking to 50 is fine. Just no Incarnates. We'd like to get enough to have some regular team runs, likely on THU evenings, my usual scheduled play night. As for teaming, it's cool if you want to/have to solo. The main thing is exploring the story content. It's casual, hombre. Kick off your shoes. You're in Willie's Roadhouse.:-)
