  1. Credentials: I have a fully incarnated 50 Dark/Dark Controller. Illusion/Rad Controller, Plant/Psi Dominator. As far as the Dark Control side there are 3 very specific things I think they could adjust/fix that would fine tune Dark Control to make it better/comparable in quality to other top tier control sets (Illusion/Fire/Plant). 1.) Allow another effect to provide Containment. I suggest Fear or Disorient. This would allow Dark to increase it's damage while not changing any current powers and it fits thematically. 2.) Improve Shades. This could be implemented a number of ways. Increasing their attack damage based on a formula of the mob used to cast would be interesting and give a Dark Controller alternative strategy's when casting the spell. (Perhaps adding an additional minor dot based on the "type" of enemy, or increasing attack rate/attack damage) there are a lot of creative and interesting ways this could be accomplished. The goal is to get them somewhat in line with Fire in terms of potential damage/survivability with a small boost. You could even just up the #, adjust the attack rate/damage, etc. 3.) Improve the Umbra Beast. This you could do in a variety of ways. I agree with the poster that mentioned that the howl is too frequent, perhaps changing it to a longer effect/timer so that it is allowed to do more damaging attacks is all it would need. But as it is it does need a bump and with Dark there are a lot of opportunities to adjust it thematically as well as strategically. If these are adjusted in an upward direction Dark will have a much appreciated boost that fits. I also think this is a low investment in terms of development time. A few minor tweaks and it will compete with the other top tier Controller sets.
  2. While I am happy to have a new Support power set and congratulate the HC team on getting it shipped to the live servers there are a few issues with the set which I think should be addressed. With the other suggestion about the animation and it's VFX I agree with and support, I also have an issue with the sound that this set is producing. I was hoping that it would be a toned down Electric sound as Electric is an absolute cacophony when you get multiple players (see Hami raids) this one AT can absolutely turn it up with fewer people to have the same overpowering sounds. While solo or in a normal team this doesn't really cause many issues, but when you are in a league and the Electrical affinity players are chaining it almost completely obscures everything else. Please consider adjusting the sounds of this set.
  3. There is no reason to tack on an entire new tray for a single power when you can customize the binds/bars. If it's a tech issue it should be similarly easy to fix via Null the Gull. This should also be included in the Page 5 update with Speed of Sound (Jaunt), which I'm sure will follow the same formula. Please do this ASAP for those of us who don't want this nearly empty bar on top.
  4. Before I reply to the substance, these were potential responses from HC. Not my own personal opinions. So if you are going to put that entire last paragraph in my mouth without knowing me at all or what I'm going to say, then I think it's pointless to discuss anything with you and I wouldn't be surprised if others had no intention to either. Now to your points: On one hand you say that Gaussian is not good and not worth much, then on the other hand you say because of the limitation of IO's that MM have that it is a big deal. You can't have your cake and eat it too. It either is a significant change (to me it is, since extracting the most out of your pets is the whole point of playing a pet class in my opinion, it's the gimmick) or it isn't. That's why I even offered up the hope that they were going to expand MM IO's much like this current page's expansion for a certain niche. I do agree with you that these seem like changes that don't take a look at the whole AT/enhancement/play of MM's and only a limited viewpoint which is why I wondered if it had to do with the overall "Proc change" scheme they are teasing (probably to avoid a massive explosion when they actually do it).
  5. I'm struggling to understand these changes as well. Were these changes that were apart of the new and upcoming proc changes that you said you were waiting to push out on the next page? Can the HC explain why these were made? If there isn't a technical reason and instead the balance reason is brought into play, what are you trying to accomplish and why now? Off the top of my head: The argument that pets should only have one Build-up style of power affecting their pets due to AT balance. Other pets don't have access to the slotting that Thugs does and thus only one pet set gets this, very beneficial proc use? (Even though the comparable balance of the sets is way off, even without this one enhancement.) This is a precursor to more new enhancement sets or restrictions specifically for pet classes.
  6. I'd like to echo some of the comments regarding the powers seeming to have too many buffs (or more appropriately, that a couple of the buff powers should be consolidated that make sense/theme) and needs at least 1 chaining offensive power. Hopefully something with actual impact that uses the chaining. Perhaps a Dynamo effect that turns the pet into some sort of lightning rod, though I'm not sure how creative/effort intensive it would be instead of simply making an offensive chain power.
  7. I have tested this as well, not just with passive discounts but with active powers. Support Core Embodiment (and possibly others) does not provide it's passive bonus.
  8. I don't know if this is an issue with one particular popmenu or not (both Robokitty and ATC's have this issue), but the Faultline exploration badges: Riveting, Rock Bottom, Upcycled are not counted as achieved even if you have the badges.
  9. Fade (Dark support Power set) has a graphical glitch where if you have your Shadows setting to High or above (or the corresponding individual value of "FAR" enabled) that it will cause the caster (not NPC/other PCs) to flicker quickly. On MEDIUM base shadow setting or lower (or the corresponding individual value of "MIDDLE" enabled) this flickering goes away. If it is driver specific this is Nvidia Drivers, v431.36
  10. The Fade power from Dark support set is giving my character a graphical issue where it causes my character to flicker quickly. This only affects my character and not other NPC/PC's who are affected by the power, they seem normal under the power. I have adjusted all of my graphical settings to see if there is any change in the behavior and I was not able to get it to change. I have reinstalled my graphic drivers (Nvidia 1080 Ti) Current: 431.36. My resolution is 2560x1080 and I have the DPI settings checked on the Score.exe. Anyone else have this issue or know a way to further troubleshoot it? Edit: I also wanted to add I have no other graphical issues with anything else as far as I know. Ultra settings for everything, including Rikti raids, MoM Pendragon and large Hami raids and nothing has caused an issue.
