Yeah, what he said.......mostly. America is amazingly hated unconditionally worldwide despite the ENORMOUS amount of money and resources that the US Private Sector and Corporations donate to humanitarian causes. Just not feeling the love. The COX Community has always made me feel welcome despite their distaste for my countries policies, and still does. Guess we just need to kick back, Open a Cold Brew ( Unless you prefer a room temperature Stout ) and Celebrate the fact that we are back here, Playing the game we missed and loved and are wanting to modify to service our personal pet peeves and wish lists, while recounting the story of how we took down 3 AVs at the same time, at level 18, SOLO, with no Enhancements or Inspirations with a Pet less Mastermind. Anyway, the Main Server is on Canadian Soil, Reunion in Germany, so let's just Celebrate "Canada Day" ( July 1st ) and "Tag der Deutschen Einheit" ( October 3rd ) and be done with it. I'm still having a 4 day weekend ( July 4th - 7th ) and I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can, and a good chunk of time will be in game getting Marine to 50. I may redo his costume RED, WHITE & BLUE though, just so the people on Reunion know I'm a stupid American, from the people I've played with so far, they'll be fine with it.

I am American, Myself and my Super group members are all from Ohio, USA playing on Reunion, EU. I guess the thing mostly overlooked in this is the issue of the amount of people with free time around 7/4/19. 1) There are a lot of American Players on the Homecoming Servers. 2) Independence Day is a paid day off for a lot of Americans. 3) Independence Day falls on a Thursday, which means a LOT of people will end up taking Friday Off work. 4) Independence Day is suddenly a FOUR Day weekend for a bunch us. 5) I Detect a lot of Task Forces, Strike Forces, Hami Raids, and the like suddenly in pre-planning. 6) I think This Year it will be a good time whether we Specifically choose to Celebrate it or not. 7) Never recall it being an Event Holiday on Live, so why do so now.

I think not understanding the Original Difficulty settings. When you went to the NPC to Change it, it said something like " the People of Paragon City see you to be _________" , the choices were Heroic, Tenacious, .....Invincible. I thought Invincible sounded great so I selected it not realizing it changed the difficulty of my missions. This is when debt started at level 5, it was a long slog to 10, lol.

The game itself was just not a good fit for me. Being that Cryptic Studios developed it I assumed it would be something I would really enjoy. I started Playing when both games were live. It could just be all the whacks to the head I've taken but I did not find it to be an easy transition. The UI was one of the things that gave me fits because among other things the Map did not show where anything was ( copter to Canadian Wilderness etc ) and it required you to just remember how to get there, this ended with me often lost and running into mobs that ended my existence for annoying them. Did not like the very limited amount of instanced missions, almost everything was on the normal zone map with a circle or such indicating the valid hunt area or whatever. People could run thru your hunt and aggro everything then fly off leaving you a to deal with it. Even had a guy grief me because he wanted to "Duel" and I declined because even though I was on the open Desert Map, I was trying to complete a mission. He eventually figured out what I was hunting and hovered overhead spamming "Duel Me" and sniping the kills I needed. As far as teaming, never really did much. I got Teamed early on when I needed, but people just didn't seem interested and I never, ever got a "hey would you like to join our team" or Blind Invite. What's the Point of Playing a MMO if you ONLY Solo, for me it was not what I thought it would be. Have enjoyed Star Trek Online, Black Desert and of course Paragon Chat ( hats off to Codewalker and his team ) for the last couple Years. I know there are lots of good people playing CO too, some are former CoX People, Unfortunately they weren't the ones I ran into. And now COX is back, I'm comfortable, I can team, I can do door missions, Lots of content, and a great community.

Anyone Make it back here? Had Livingston, Stone/Axe Tanker and Polar Pyro Ice/Fire Tanker. Moved Livingston to Virtue after Game Amp Shut down. Had a Brute Called Hemlock Redside. My Brother had Delphon Empathy/Electric Defender. My global is @Marine X.
