  1. And of course, it is also a faboulous way of indulging in hopeless Altaholism. I often created new characters just with one of the themes in mind and tried to bring them up to level in time for the respective events. And creating toons is just as much fun for me as playing them.

  3. @TrixieKixx Hey Trixie, count me in for Apex with Demolishia, SS / Rad Brute. I love this toon and enjoyed coming up with a new, sleek outfit that suits her well. And that Battle Maiden fight will put her 800Mil Build for sure to a proper test. I don't know yet if I can stick around for Tin Mage, however. Guess it depends how good we are in the 1st run. I got about 1h20...30ish before I am gonna head off to meet some friends on saturday.

Hi there, so, I have been going through my stable of high level toons and incarnates and have tried my hands a little at creating builds, really just by taking over other players builds posted here spomewhere and tweaking them to my liking. But I find that most of my powersets are seemingly more uncommon combinations, it is difficult to find something to start with. So I am thinking about just biting into the apple and starting to create my own builds, but I am struggling with where to start and how to determine power choices, slotting and set boni etc.... So asking to the pros: what is the process? Is there any kind of systematic approach to this that one can follow when creating a monster? 🙏

  19. Hey @TrixieKixx, those sound all rather fantastic! And while I am especially looking forward to Katie Hannon, I seem to remember that the last time we did it we also had "Greens" as a theme... Not that I would mind doing it again, I have many ideas to show up with something fun. Just wondering if you have considered that? Also, thx for taking up my idea. I am very much looking forward what you guys all come up with. And would like to call dibbs on Controller for it - of course thinking about Bananiac, the careless little Janitor etc you know.... 🙂 Aaaand... I have 1/2 a mind to also show up with an Illusion Controller for the Clone Theme 🙂 Do we need more clones? Maybe "need" is the wrong word here... What about "want"? I also like the ability to atune here so it remains active when exemping (as compared to +5 standard Recharge and EndMod IOs, as I understand...) - Stamina: 2 PerfShifter (EndM and the EndM Proc) vs. 2 standard IOs... about 10% recovery difference within the power, but MIDS gives some weird negative numbers (-13.05???) on the End Rec Total... - Threw out all the slots from Tough, figured I am good enough on S/L at around 70% and just not bothering with all the +Psi anymore - Roots: Went with 5 Grav Anchor, the 6th being the Font Proc. This helps with global Acc and Rech, but loses a little S/L Res and Ranged Def when compared to 6 Slot Overpowering Presence. But I think I am good with that. Looking forward to give it a try now!

So I reworked the Build accordingly, with the following adjustments to basically: - Increase Endurance & Recovery - Increase Accuracy (globally and in individual powers) - Proc out the Hold, Creepers and Ball Lightning (though letting go of the controllor ATO was difficult 🙂 ) - Increase Ranged Defense A few other tweaks, don't remember everything. Roots, Creepers, or even the Strangler? Never used this one before, so no clue how this is supposed to work. - I kept the Guardian and am using him basically as a set mule here. Had 3 Overwhelming Forces in there before to beef him up a bit, but I don't really think I will need that, so went for the global bonus there.
  24. Can confirm. My Main was Doc Medevac (You know him now as Dark Anaesthetist), a Mind/Emp Controller. An absolute Force in teams, but forget about going solo... "Describe your Character in 2 Words:" "Untouchable... Slooooowww!"

It was a so much fun locking down whole caves full of Nazi brickheads all drowning in pink. 🙂 Can't help it, I love Controllers and this was totally My Kind Of Thing. @TrixieKixx will very likely not take part next saturday, as I will not be back home in time, I guess...
