In the Seer Marino arc "Oh, Wretched Man!" there's one mish where the players' objective is to steal research about Ghost Widow from the Legacy Chain. In the building where I completed the previous mish, I immediately called the contact to start the next mish. The (red) waypoint appeared at the exit. I exited the building and the (red) waypoint led me back to the door of the building I had just left. I finally found the Legacy Chain mish by following the waypoint on the map itself instead of trying to use the Nav window. Edit: I was running this arc from Flashback if that makes a difference.

Does Water Blast/Water-related-powers work on the flames in the Hellion Arson zone event?

As far as I can tell there are a total of five new insp drops tied to the Anniversary event. As far as I can remember, they are obtained *only* by defeating enemies spawning from opening Time Capsules. The people in the Help channel explained to me how to find out what a particular insp does. Right-click it and select "Info." Then click the "Detailed Info" tab and what it does will be shown at the bottom. Special note: if there is no explanation for what it does, then the insp provides Debt Protection. Special note 2: if you put them in an insp storage container in your base, it will "sort" them. They work as follows... The order of this list is how they're sorted in my storage container. 1) +Def (all) 2) Debt Protection 3) Heal on self 4) +End on self 5) +?% Dam (all) on self

Heh... This is specifically the event that I was wanting to know about. I just wanted to ask the question generally as a one-shot, one-kill for all of the events. I was waiting around for the Hellion Arson today and there was roughly a two hour and ten minute gap between spawns. But that's just one sample.

To begin with, here are the Zone Events listed on the wiki: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Category:Zone_Events You can also peruse this page for more info (including a link to Special Events:) https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Zone_Events Is there a list of the frequency of each of the Zone Events?

Some really cool screen setups! Also, I noticed some of you don't have the timestamp on your chat. Menu > Options > Windows (tab) > scroll down to Chat > Chat Timestamps (near the bottom of the list)

I think my screen is 32"

I always minimize my chat window when posting screenshots. Just a preference.

In Faultline #4 (A Faultline in the Sands of Time,) try these coordinates to explore a hole in the ground that *might* lead to your next mish!? /thumbtack [406.1 -0.6 1476.8] Edit: So the *best option* is to get Mish Transporter and wait for it to reset for the next mish!

Can someone *please* post the coordinates of AkashiKnight's base in the final mish of the Faultline #3 arc (lvl 20-24) "The Buried Past?" Pretty please?

Maybe some people will find this useful. I'm posting a typical screen of my toon. Power trays 4 and 5 are elevated because when I cast my Mystic Flight power, it adds a tray that blocks out my regular trays. This also works for Super Jump, etc. Edit: Tray 6 is my "extra" tray for Badge Tracker, Emote mod, costumes and pets, etc. And I *always* have the "Pet" tray open and out of the way.

Is it possible to hover my mouse pointer over a villain in a cell and identify them if I don't recognize them on sight? My team and I defeated Harbinger but he/she just looked like a gigantic ball of special effects from all the powers hitting them. And I can't find a page for them on the wiki. Edit: Are there only 3 souvenirs required?

I believe this was the problem. Thank you for the suggestion!

Hi! I noticed what I think might be an error on the Homecoming wiki. I had a level 44 Controller (Vigilante/blueside) and attempted to buy the tenth costume slot from Anna (Croatoa.) I had all of the necessary salvage. However, she didn't offer the costume recipe. I tried again at level 45 and had the same results. Then I tried another toon I had at level 50 and she offered the costume recipe. The wiki says "any level" can purchase an extra costume slot. I'm not sure if that's limited to the Halloween Event or if a toon has to be level 50 all year. If someone else could verify this (there's more than one vendor to purchase a costume slot from and I haven't had a chance to test them all yet) that would be helpful I'm sure. Anyway, I just thought I'd post it for the wiki editors. I'm not a registered user of the wiki and I've also heard that only a few people are allowed to edit it.

Can you guys bring back the old-school CoT costumes? The "new" look is just plain ridiculous. I've never like their "gaudy" look but didn't realize there was a much cooler-looking alternative.

I just found out about these badges today. Just in case you're wondering how to find said time capsules, you can simply use the maps for the presents during the Winter Event. https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Winter_Event/Presents#Present_Locations Please note that some time capsules do not appear in these map locations. If you can't find it, just move on. Redside is better for collecting because of the lower population. Edit: 65 total time capsules opened to get the badges. The rest of the rewards were not important to me, although I collected nearly a dozen costumes, both bats, and two of the "vision" powers. I deleted everything but the bats.

I just want to know how to get the badge. I go to the payphone and it says call cannot be completed. One of the threads I was reading said this: Accessing this story arc requires having completing Doc Buzzsaw's newest arc. Is that the Freakish Lab arc? Do I need to change to red and then to blue to get this badge?

Max amount default to sell during auction house sales

This solved the problem for me. I've never paid attention to that drop down. Thank you! -
So... I've had this problem since I started. Example: I have 14 Mathematic Proof (common) salvage and 2 Gold (uncommon) salvage. The rest of my salvage alternates between 1 and 10+. Ok... So I sometimes farm. Does that make me a bad person? When I sell, I'll VERY CAREFULLY go through and look over my salvage prior to selling off what I don't want. Obviously, I sell the 10+ salvage first. That way, I can just click "Ok" without adjustment as the quantity gets lower. And *always,* *always,* *always,* I'll find a piece of salvage in the 10+ amount that I missed. So I have to adjust the amount to sell in the pop-up. It's not game-breaking. Arguably, it's not even inconvenient. But wouldn't it be *very* convenient if the pop-up window automatically defaulted to the max amount to sell? If I mistakenly sell too many Common salvage/recipes/enhs, I'm not going to lose any tears over it. And Uncommon/Rare recipes/salvage doesn't occur in higher amounts than 1 often enough to worry about. And enhs drops are *only* for selling for the badge. They serve no other purpose.

I can't believe I watched this whole thing!?

Underneath my Notoriety settings in the chat bubble there's an option to change alignment. It doesn't seem to work for me. Can someone tell me about this, please? I tried to get a screenshot but hitting the keys caused the chat bubble window to drop.

Mapserver Madness! (Four-One 2022 Invasion Event)
Display Name replied to Cobalt Arachne's topic in Events & Contests
Some tips. These have probably already been stated in previous replies: 01) Switch to Vigilante or Rogue alignment. The event happens in blue/red/gold zones. 02) Create a new tab in your Chat window with "Hero Zone Event Messages," "Praetorian Zone Event Messages" and "Villain Zone Event Messages." Make sure to check it every 15 mins or so. Or just leave it "open" so that you can see when the event starts. 03) /macro_image "Teleportation_LongRangeTeleport" "Teleport: Cosmic Terminal" "enterbasefrompasscode COSMICTRANSPORT-6608" 04) Try targeting through a pet. They're focused on the enemies and it makes it easier to target. That is, if you can find one. 05) It's been reported that defeating the GM quickly will make the event last longer. 06) The bird will catch you by the head and fly up high with you in tow and then releases you. Use any kind of teleport/incandescence (incan) power to escape. 07) You might turn green. Simply open your Powers window and delete "Bad Ent Type" from your Temporary Powers to change back. Or just wait until you exit the zone. Edit: No, the GM being killed by drones doesn't end the event. But if defeating the GM faster makes the event last longer, then you want their help. Edit, Edit. Try targeting through a Portable Workbench. Whut...? Yes! Summon a Portable Workbench. Target it. And then use your ranged powers to blast the enemies! This works for *any* situation. I first heard about this from @Autumn Twilight. I never knew this, before! When they told me about it, I was surprised! So I went to Atlas Park, dropped a Portable Workbench, targeted it, and then blasted some Hellions! WOW!!!!! -
