  1. Here's my latest attempt at a Melee/Support AT. The Zealot. *Base damage would be a little lower than that of a Scrapper, since they get buff/debuff to help. The buff/debuff numbers would be close to that of a Corruptor, maybe just a little less. The self defense and hit points numbers might be near that of a Stalker. *Inherent would be Zealotry, a stacking Power Boost effect. It would build and degrade in a manner somewhat similar to Brute Fury. The more you attack, the more powerful your heals, buffs, debuffs, or controls will be. Enemy attacks against you would not build Zealotry. *Primary sets would be identical to Scrappers except instead of Confront they get Power Placate. It's Placate and Power Boost in one. Using Power Placate allows you to get a Critical Strike OR Critical Heals, Defense Buffs, Tohit Buffs, etc. Longer cooldown than normal Placate. *Secondaries would all be slightly modified from Corruptor versions. Probably changed power order in some cases, and also to give additional self protection, usually at some cost, along these lines: Cold Domination: Ice Shield replaced with Arctic Armor (Toggle Self Def to S/L/E/N) Glacial Shield replaced with Icy Shield (Ranged Ally Def to S/L/E/N, Res to F/C) Arctic Fog replaced with Foggy Aura (Toggle Self and Ally Stealth, Self-Only Status Protection) Dark Miasma: Black Hole replaced with Ebon Presence (Toggle Self Status Protection) Electrical Affinity: Powers are rebalanced to cast First on the caster for this version of the set. Galvanic Sentinel replaced with Discharge Empathy: Fortitude replaced with Fortify (Self and Allies +Def/ToHit/Damage) Clear Mind replaced with Clear Minded (Toggle Self Status Protection) Force Field: Personal Force Field replaced with Personal Force Bubble (Toggle Self +Defense to All but Psi) Detention Field replaced with Reactive Reinforcement (Passive +Recovery, Protection from Sleep, Knockback) Kinetics: Repel replaced with Repelling Armor (Toggle Self Resist All Damage) Increase Density replaced with Increased Density (Toggle Self Status Protection) Nature Affinity: Lifegiving Spores replaced with Superbloom (Toggle Self Status Protection) Pain Domination: Enforced Morale replaced with Intensity (Toggle Self Status Protection) Poison: Alkaloid replaced with Emergency Medicine (PBAoE Heal Over Time) Antidote replaced with High Immunity (Toggle Self Status Protection) Radiation Emission: Radiation Infection replaced with Radiation Field (Ranged Toggle Foe -Res/Def/Tohit/Dmg) Enervating Field replaced with Cold Fusion (Toggle Self Status Protection) Sonic Resonance: Sonic Barrier replaced with Sonic Protection (Ranged Ally +Resist All but Psi) Sonic Haven replaced with Hearing Protection (Toggle Self +Resist All) Sonic Cage replaced with Sonic Enclosure (Ranged Foe Hold, Immobilize, Slow) Clarity replaced with High Alert (Passive +Regeneration, Protection from Sleep, Knockback) Storm Summoning: O2 Boost replaced with Oxygenation (PBAoE Heal and +Endurance) Steamy Mist replaced with Misty Aura (Toggle Self and Ally Stealth, Self-Only Status Protection) Hurricane replaced with Typhoon Aura (Toggle PBAoE Foe -ToHit, -Damage) Thermal Radiation: Thermal Shield replaced with Thermal Armor (Toggle Self +Resist All but Psi) Plasma Shield replaced with Solar Shield (Ranged Ally +Resist All but Psi) Thaw replaced with Internal Heat (Toggle Self Status Protection) Forge replaced with Ignition (Self and Allies +Damage, +ToHit) Time Manipulation: Temporal Selection replaced with Time's Chosen (Toggle Self Status Protection) Traps: Triage Beacon replaced with Preparedness (Passive +Recharge, Protection from Sleep, Knockback) Force Field Generator replaced with Energy Field Generator (Place Drone, PBAoE Team +Def, +Regen, Protection from Hold, Stun, Immobilize) Trick Arrow: Acid Arrow replaced with Faraday Arrow (Location Team Status Protection, Knockback Protection, +Resist All but Toxic) EMP Arrow replaced with Polarizing Arrow (Ranged AoE Stun, -Defense, -Regen, Special vs Robots)
  2. this might be more about the questionable value of cc at high levels than the power itself. If it was +50% then it could save you a bunch of slots.
  3. That's ok. There have been a ton of improvements to the levelling game, so people who want to play as they level are going to have a good time. Those people that don't want to have plenty of options still available.
  4. I see no reason whatsoever that lvl 40-50 mobs should be balanced to account for teams with a bunch of low level sidekicks. Bringing a bunch of SKs SHOULD be a risk.
  5. That will only be true until people learn the new mobs and their abilities. Once people know what to expect it will quickly become easy again.
  6. In my opinion fate sealed out to grant the same scaling damage resistance that the melee defense passive grants, but make it mutually exclusive so you can’t get it from them both.
  7. There's this: https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Main_Page
  8. Of these 4, only the first isn't already accounted for in the current setup. The classic 5 combos already work, all epics can work (as long as you have a Soldier, a Widow or Warshade, and at least one Kheldian). All of the same AT is kind of a gimmick that doesn't need to be rewarded by a system of this kind. I still think renaming the last Role to "Support and Pets" might be a good idea.
  9. And I'm saying you are incorrect. YOU are conflating the Fast Travel macro with the LRT and the Base Teleporter. LRT and Base Teleporter, as well as a Badge earned version, are what let you teleport to your base. Getting the Fast Travel macro via earning Ouroboros does NOT give you the ability to go to your base.
  10. The Fast Travel macro only gives you access to those powers you've received. They all have badges or prices associated with receiving them already. Getting the macro without one of the powers within it would be meaningless.
  11. Not the new ones you've added. I mean Tips in particular, but I think Salvage, there might be a couple of others.
  12. RE: New Player Experience PLEASE give us a way to MOVE where the Popup Windows appear! When they pop during combat in the middle of the screen, the first thing most people do is CLOSE it without reading.
  13. Yea, but improving the new player experience TO THE DETRIMENT of the veteran experience doesn't have to be a thing. I agree with the people who suggested 10 different badges OR an Explore accolade seems like a totally reasonable compromise.
  14. But if they put a Vendor next to Back Alley Brawler, that would help.
  15. Being able to teleport to my base to level up is very handy even in Atlas.
  16. yes storm is very fun on Sentinel. Sentinel mez protection is just not that high. You might need to protect yourself with moment of glory in certain situations, and regen just is a little vulnerable to stacking.
  17. I was saying Defenders would still be in that category for exactly that reason. 😁 I agree I wish the feature did a better job showing what roles an AT is actually likely to play. That means, yes, some basic ATs get more than one.
  18. Maybe they should just rename Support to Pets. THAT would fix it! 😜
  19. Yep, and most teams will get the bonus, a few won’t, some team leaders will care, but most probably won’t.
  20. Create a second Inspiration window, Opt In in Options, with only One slot. This slot ALWAYS contains the most recent inspiration that dropped. Give it a listing in Keybinds as well. This way you could set a keybind to Use Most Recent Inspiration, regardless of what slot it was in your basic Inspiration tray.
  21. Well, the Fairness of one Role per AT except for the Epics is addressed in that post, but sure, I hear you. Yea, and if you look at my other posts in the thread I made this exact same observation, so I suppose we'll see if any of it sticks in the next build. My guess is they end up cutting it completely because of the philosophical objections. If they could find a way to do it that was closer to reflecting the true diversity of the game then it might work.
  22. It’s a logic puzzle. You have to put it together using the guidelines laid out in the pinned post. It’s NOT a perfect representation of how the game works, that’s understood.
  23. Yea, because Widows CAN spec to be EITHER melee OR control, so they fill both roles for the purpose of this bonus. The fact that any of this boggles anyone's mind when it's just a little bonus mechanic, is itself mind boggling. The reasons they placed each AT where they did have been explained and are quite clear. Not understanding it can only be willful at this point.
  24. Well, don’t overstate the case. Warshades have AoE stuns not matched by any melee. Forts have AoE hold and confuse. It’s not crazy to have those ATs count for Control.
