  1. Here is the easy setup method for Demons. Just copy each of the four /binds (all pets and three demon) and paste them into the game. ALL PETS: /bind numpad0 "bind numpad4 petcomall agg$$bind numpad5 petcomall def$$bind numpad6 petcomall pass$$bind numpad7 petcomall att$$bind numpad8 petcomall fol$$bind numpad9 petcomall goto" DEMONS: /bind numpad1 "bind numpad4 petcompow ling agg$$bind numpad5 petcompow ling def$$bind numpad6 petcompow ling pass$$bind numpad7 petcompow ling att$$bind numpad8 petcompow ling fol$$bind numpad9 petcompow ling goto" /bind numpad2 "bind numpad4 petcompow mons agg$$bind numpad5 petcompow mons def$$bind numpad6 petcompow mons pass$$bind numpad7 petcompow mons att$$bind numpad8 petcompow mons fol$$bind numpad9 petcompow mons goto" /bind numpad3 "bind numpad4 petcompow prin agg$$bind numpad5 petcompow prin def$$bind numpad6 petcompow prin pass$$bind numpad7 petcompow prin att$$bind numpad8 petcompow prin fol$$bind numpad9 petcompow prin goto" To use it, pick the pet group (0=all, 1=minions, 2=lts, 3=boss), then give them a stance (4=aggressive, 5=defensive, 6=passive) and command (7=attack, 8=follow, 9=goto). Hope that helps!
  2. Just to point out you can dismiss them and resummon/buff in under 20 seconds.
  3. Something I would add that's very useful on my Traps MM: some form of Invisibility. This will allow you to enter a mob and drop a mortar or poison as an opener and lessen any alpha, as the mobs will attack the trap (or your FF gen following along behind). My favorite form of invisibility is Superspeed+Celerity:Stealth. It gives effective invis to most things, is easily toggled, and allows you to move quickly into and out of situations.
  4. Concerning the inside Portal room: I usually immediately stealth in to the portal room and shut down the computers; and can usually get all but a couple done before the first incursion comes. Fly up to the ceiling and regain invis. When the group has left the room, fly down and get the other computers (usually save the one by the AV for last; you can get this from on top of the box if careful without alerting the mobs). This shuts down all those ambushers flooding through the portal, allowing only one group through. If a second person would also stealth the computers there wouldn't even be one spawn through. Concerning the fuel lines? No idea what it gains you.
  5. Superior Invisibility puts you at the stealth cap for non-stalkers (200ft) and the stealth doesn't suppress when attacking. I believe it used to suppress for 6 seconds as opposed to the 10 seconds of normal stealth forms, but I don't remember when the non-suppression change occurred. If you are Illusion, there is little reason to not take it, especially coupled with non-agro Deceive being so strong.
  6. I have always taken SuperSpeed on every character I make, both for the movement and for an easily toggled one-power invisibility (just slot Celerity:Stealth). Most of the time I also take Hasten from the pool as well. After that, I usually add Fly (although Mystic Flight has replaced Fly because free teleport); unless it's a melee character, then I add SuperJump as I am also taking Combat Jump for defense and recharge mule. But Speed always.
  7. Large enough that anyone with Superspeed also essentially had toggled Super Reflexes. It was very broken. Line-of-Sight blocking is probably the best way to get off free attacks without reprisal. It's something that's always been in the game and quite a useful tactic.
  8. Well now you also have a secret identity: Stan Corrected.
  9. Suzy Homewrecker maintains an iron grip on her gang of street thugs. Using a dangerous combination of potent narcotics and the black arts, she experiments on her ‘toys’ to enhance their abilities, and thus their usefulness to her. They become totally devoted to her every command, ready to die for her slightest whim. She is the giver of their pain, and the angel of their destruction. Suzy tends to burn through her minions quickly, sometimes ordering them to undertake suicidal actions for the fun of watching them suffer. She is constantly grabbing replacements from any men she passes on the streets, erasing their wills, and pressing them into her gang to serve until they die. No one is safe when Suzy is on the prowl. If her appetite for mayhem and destruction could be curbed, her powerful abilities would allow her to become a potent force on the Rogue Isles. As it is, before she can raise a army strong enough to challenge existing authority, she sends it to destruction for her short-term gratification.
  10. You're using forward slashes in a pathname. Use the '\' backslash instead. c:\covbinds\Robot.txt Forward slashes are used within the game to issue commands like /bindloadfile c:\covbinds\Robot.txt
  11. Note that the binds I listed are for Robots only (hence the 'batt', 'prot' and 'assa' in the binds). You can easily change them for the other pet sets though. Just use unique words from the powernames.
  12. Copy each of these four lines into chat one at a time and press enter: /bind numpad0 "bind numpad4 petcomall agg$$bind numpad5 petcomall def$$bind numpad6 petcomall pass$$bind numpad7 petcomall att$$bind numpad8 petcomall fol$$bind numpad9 petcomall goto" /bind numpad1 "bind numpad4 petcompow batt agg$$bind numpad5 petcompow batt def$$bind numpad6 petcompow batt pass$$bind numpad7 petcompow batt att$$bind numpad8 petcompow batt fol$$bind numpad9 petcompow batt goto" /bind numpad2 "bind numpad4 petcompow prot agg$$bind numpad5 petcompow prot def$$bind numpad6 petcompow prot pass$$bind numpad7 petcompow prot att$$bind numpad8 petcompow prot fol$$bind numpad9 petcompow prot goto" /bind numpad3 "bind numpad4 petcompow assa agg$$bind numpad5 petcompow assa def$$bind numpad6 petcompow assa pass$$bind numpad7 petcompow assa att$$bind numpad8 petcompow assa fol$$bind numpad9 petcompow assa goto" Now when you press: 0-1-2-3 you will select All-Minions-Lieutenants-Boss respectively. 4-5-6 will set the selected group's stance to Aggressive-Defensive-Passive respectively. 7-8-9 orders the selected group to Attack-Follow-Goto (with recticle) respectively. That simple.
  13. Concerning adding an emote to the commands, here is an example of my All.txt file: numpad4 petcom_all Aggressive numpad5 petcom_all Defensive numpad6 petcom_all Passive numpad7 "petcom_all Attack$$em attack" numpad8 "petcom_all Follow$$em stop" numpad9 "petcom_all Goto$$em point" lctrl+decimal "petcom_all Dismiss$$em salute" This adds personal emotes to the attack, follow, goto, and dismiss commands. I originally did this after some complaints long ago that I didn't appear to be doing much of anything! Now players can see whenever I am issuing commands. Plus it adds some character to my character.
  14. If I remember correctly, the doubling of aoe hold recharge cool-downs came in a batch of controller re-balancing. Controllers complained they had few effective means of dealing damage when solo, and the 'city of statues' issue was taking fun out of the general experience. Devs created the containment inherent to give all controllers a boost in damage and doubled the recharge of all aoe hold powers as their solutions. The aoe change didn't go over well as they were also mucking around with Enhancement Diversification at the time, and ED made the recharge doubling all the worse to swallow. The damage bone they threw us placated many, but I never liked the doubling. The one thing you want to do when playing is USE your powers, not wait around for them (halving the duration would have been preferable to doubling the cool-down). As time has gone on, that old solution of double recharge time has not aged well in light of the evolved status of the game (dominators, blaster nukes, IOs, incarnates, etc), so maybe it's time to revisit this issue.
