This isnt city of clones, people will have different playstyles. it happens. as for the 90 second click the glowie missions..mission tp is up every 30 min, not 3 min. add a lot of travel time.

I have no goal at this point. It isnt worth hopping on the treadmill. The devs have made it plain as day that they are not intending soloers or casuals as their intended market. This release reeks of wow mythic+. I am not interested in getting into that grind, I have done it before and not gonna do it.(grammar nazis can bite me if they dont like my gonna). I find myself playing less, probably gonna go do some skyrim or even wow. At least they are honest about locking casuals out. There is a lone contaminated that spawns in the RV tram station every few days. The original devs put him there when people complained about not being able to get the badge from the starter zone because they didnt know about it. You cant say you cant get the badge! but they knew perfectly well that it wasnt a practical way of getting the badge. They were being jerks. just like the 2% drop rate.

except that costumes ARE NOT ENDGAME CONTENT. if a 1-49 character joins a wst, they dont get the salvage to get costumes. Its an idiotic system.

they told you the drop rate if you can read. 2%. 1 drop in 50. your anecdotes dont change that. math is hard for you I guess.

of course you have to do thousands of missions to get the prismatics....you will probably be on your 6th 50 before you unlock enough. if you do every mission in the game. they drop at a 1 in 50 rate from missions. 500 missions to unlock 1 basic costume. not gonna happen

Hardmode is not required. but it is required if you want to get enough prismatics before the heat death of the universe. 24 million each? buying them isnt an option for most. they dont drop for non 50's from the wst. They are pretty much designed for either real deep pockets or HM. They have done exactly what wow did when they locked the good rewards behind mythic. Its not required until it is.

maybe in a few years. maybe not. leveling to 50 in ae is a lot faster

The wst wasnt a lvl 50 tf. synapse and moonfire, neither are ever gonna be hm. but you have to be level 50 to get the reward that they said anyone could get? by running the wst. evidently not.

well then its a good thing that you dont use costumes till 50. That is a glaring mistake. we have to run on 50's to get the good reward? Looks like running tfs is not a good way to level anymore.

I did moonfire TF wst last night and got no prismatics. bug? who knows?

Dr.Aeon TF is 30. at 24 million(just checked everlasting. they go for 24.1 million each) each member of the team gets 30. Im not conflating anything. 30 prismatics times 24 million is 720 million. at least in the math I learned. EVERY runner that does the complete TF will get 30. I dont know how you farm 720 million in less than 2 hours, I have never managed anything even remotely close to that. and that is every one that completes it, not one outlier farmer. With the multiple "bugs" that they have found to reduce farming, its even less likely to happen. 1 player farming vs 1 player on an ATF getting 720 million + any other inf/recipe/merit drops they get. Not in the same ballpark.

your math is a hair off. 1 prismatic = 24 million 30 prismatic = 720 million. for a hour and a half effort. I dont know where you farm, but no farmer is getting more than a tiny fraction of that. add in all the other rewards they get, they are pushing a billion per run, with no rng. 8 players getting that every hour and a half to 2 hours. please name the server where prismatics go for 3 or 4 million each.

240 million as becoming more affordable? for 1 characters costume? how many billions have the hm players set aside so far? this isnt an inf drain.

people have been requesting this for years. Shifting 8 BILLION inf with every TF complete is not "cosmetic". If the economy is so damn important to nerf other playstyles, why does this get a pass? Oh, its the devs preferred play style. got it.

then wtf was up with the "important" nerfs to AE farming? The same white knights championing those nerfs are here telling us that this is great.

The people on the first day got 100 million each. x 30. everlasting was 24 million a few days ago. x 30 for an ATF. 720 million for 1 run. add in all the other rewards and its well over a billion. you can do this every day. BOOM economy shafted. hm runners can store 48000000000 inf in their salvage trays. you want us to farm at a nerfed rate to make them richer? How much rewards do they need to pile on before its enough to get people to try the tf? If you have to tie a porkchop around a kids neck to get the dog to play with them, you might have a problem.

you want to be playing wow, not city of heroes. They are set up exactly like you want. the devs should change the name to city of heroes HM. COH has NEVER been a game about gatekeeping the lesser players to the cheap seats. This is all about changing to City of Hardcore.

Part of the problem is that the devs just shifted the entire game economy. When you can get close to a billion inf for doing one 4 star TF there is a problem. they just crowned the new kings of inf. It certainly looks like they have a heavily favored activity. By the time they "datamine" if they chose to do it, the game will be tilted in that groups favor. we were told that farmers having too much inf was "bad" a few months ago. Looks like thats not actually the case.

Thats not the point. I like it too. but I have over 80 characters that need to repec because the powers that I took dont do what I took them for and the powers I didnt take do exactly what I need. Thats a LOT of power bars to reshuffle and it makes my head hurt. If I could do a 2 power switch, it would take 5 min.

so you are saying the complaint about farming were false? good to know. and buying them? 24 million each? HM tfs blow even marketting out of the water as the absolute by a mile best place to earn rewards. why play anything else? earn any where...2% chance is not a viable way of getting them.

what can you get farming that you cant get anywhere else? Didnt they just nerf farming so it wouldnt be the "one stop shop"? They just shoveled billions of inf and loads of merits to hm tfs. It kinda blows out of the water any ide of one avenue of play being as rewarding as any other. A wst dropping 1 damn particle? that was only put there so you could parrot the line that you can get them everywhere. Just like that lone contaminated in recluses victory.

another forced respec...concealment pool. I took the concealment pool, didnt take stealth, took invisibility. they change it. and all of a sudden I dont have the ability to be invisible. I just have what used to be stealth. The ability I NEVER took. have to respec to bring back the functionality I had. Dont get me wrong, I like to have invisibility without having a wasted choice. but having to repec, yup I do. And yes, there was a reason to play a controller....they were fun. And I have never ever ever ever had a blaster give me speed boost.
