  1. stormies. always kick stormies. If they cant control their knockback they arent wanted. If you want a certain skill level...make a channel that only allows skilled players in it. only recruit from that channel. One of the great things about this game was that you could complete just about any content with the players you picked up in chat. this release blows that out the window. right now you are getting people in their tricked out super builds joining. before long you will see some people in SOs. the game was balanced around so builds. the devs decided to kill that and separate the game into eilte and nonelite players. expect a lot more of this sort of problem in the near future.
  2. sure, but any specific part of the zone? I dont have a clue. out of 197 alts 2 of them happen to be red side. Not because I dont play the game, I just dont play that part of the game.
  3. I dont feel screwing up the game for people is worth inconveniencing afk farmers. It annoys you, its not the end of the world. there is enough "you will play the way I want you to play" vibe in this release as it is. Do we really need the game to become superhero wow?
  4. If you told me to go to a specific place red side, I probably couldnt find it. I leveled 1 toon there around I8. I dont go there very often at all. I am very much not someone that has been power leveled.

  6. Isnt the notion that the superhero just trashed all the guards downstairs and didnt break a nail so maybe you should go to the restroom and take a break until they leave a thing? I am going to go attack a walking thermonuclear weapon with a baseball bat? are you kidding me?
  7. Its always annoying that mobs can stand in an explosion and not take damage because 15 of their friends already did.
  8. if the change was unnoticable, why change it? why cant we damage as many targets as we can aggro?
  9. there are more options than that. you can make difficulty sliders without changing the basic game we all wanted to come back
  10. the point is, we will not discuss WHAT the revamp will be. we will get to test it and give feedback on the little details of it. If the revamp of synapse is to take out 2 missions and add 16 +4 boss fights, we will not see it until they want feedback of the AV's costume. So far it looks like "the game is too easy" people are being catered to. A lot of people have commented over the years about various TF's. Having a discussion about what to do to fix them just might be a good idea.
  11. Honestly? I dont want the tfs that I know and love butchered. While we have lots of feedback on how the current changes work, there waws zero feedback on if we wanted or needed changes. The aggro caps that was set in stone, evidently the stone wasnt that hard. We still have the damage cap so we have the worst of both worlds. ATs that survive by killing the enemy are in a much worse state than before. they can take attacks for unlimited amounts of enemies but cannot hit them back. new sets, new maps are fine. changes to the base game to satisfy the demands from a small amount of players are not. when will the discussion of the need or desire for those changes take place? after people leave?

  14. you dont need to, there are enough idiots that head out on their own and dont want tank or support help....until they are about to drop that is
  15. I like dfb as a "team leader tutorial" because it is plug and play. I am learning tanking in wow and it is a pain in the butt.
  16. A bigger problem is people afraid to form a tf. You see a dozen people waiting for someone to form a posi1 or the like. You dont need to force people to tem with you. step up and start a new tf and it will fill
  17. The gm's put a lot of thought into this. they arent just making snap judgements. I have been on both sides of the judgement results and I for one think they do an excellent job.

  19. obviously you dont. COH GM's exist to keep the peace, help with stuck missions etc. they do a great job. They are NOT developers. Please do not confuse the 2. anyone can apply to be a GM, it does not require development skills. I may not always agree with the devs, but I do appreciate them. you have a warped idea of what an MMORPG is.(and while you ignore the red dragon in the room, it is not required to RP in a MMORPG either)

  22. I am seeing a lot of "its only a tiny change " in this release. is it "only a tiny release"? not worth talking about but we gotta do it! that seems to be the scam we are being fed.
  23. I dont know what you are doing for power leveling but I cant pl a new toon in an hour. I do find it amazing that every time they want to nerf ae they find a "mistake" to fix so its not a nerf.
