you are trolling. Insulting your players is not generally considered a good thing. -

so you are saying the complaint about farming were false? good to know. and buying them? 24 million each? HM tfs blow even marketting out of the water as the absolute by a mile best place to earn rewards. why play anything else? earn any where...2% chance is not a viable way of getting them. -

what can you get farming that you cant get anywhere else? Didnt they just nerf farming so it wouldnt be the "one stop shop"? They just shoveled billions of inf and loads of merits to hm tfs. It kinda blows out of the water any ide of one avenue of play being as rewarding as any other. A wst dropping 1 damn particle? that was only put there so you could parrot the line that you can get them everywhere. Just like that lone contaminated in recluses victory. -

another forced respec...concealment pool. I took the concealment pool, didnt take stealth, took invisibility. they change it. and all of a sudden I dont have the ability to be invisible. I just have what used to be stealth. The ability I NEVER took. have to respec to bring back the functionality I had. Dont get me wrong, I like to have invisibility without having a wasted choice. but having to repec, yup I do. And yes, there was a reason to play a controller....they were fun. And I have never ever ever ever had a blaster give me speed boost. -

So now the one stop shop for all rewards is a couple of hard mode TFs. Great balancing move. -

they need to raise the wst reward to 5 pieces. one is a stupidly low level for an item that was to appeal to casuals and rp'rs. I will not be doing 3 or 4 star raids ever. this kind of gating is why I left wow in the first place. the pitiful drops outside of HM content are just like the single contaminated that spawns in the train station of RV. It was a way for the devs to claim they didnt screw you, when they knew perfectly well they did. -

The concern I have is the appearance of driving the game to be like wow. all good rewards for HM activities only. Being able to buy them helps with this some. -

There can be no constructive criticism when the change is decided and programmed before anyone outside the core group even knows that anything is happening. saying its a shit change is in its own way criticism. Of course there are much better ways of saying it, no question about that. If I tell you I am cooking lima bean casserole for dinner, does it have enough salt? telling me you hate lima beans is a valid comment. We dont know if everything nice from now on will be locked behind hard modes, kind of like wow and mythic plus. -

one issue here. the gms enforced the "focused feedback" they only wanted to know, does it work? there was no discussion on whether we wanted or needed the changes in the first place. there was zero discussion, transparency, or the promised dev diaries. So there is room for people to ask WTF? -

I propose you stop telling others how to play. Is there some deep inner need to mess with others entertainment? -
You are a god sir!!!!!!!!!! I will find these and celebrate your name!!!!!!!
-
go back and actually read the eula that ncsoft had you agree to EVERY TIME you logged in. They owned all characters in the game. period. you are 100% wrong on that. The name can be owned within the framework of the game, where they are exclusive. if they were not, we wouldnt be having this conversation. In rl you cant own a name. In a game, yes you can. This game still actually belongs to ncsoft and they could shutdown its use at any time.
-
Besides, the names belong to ncsoft. if you want the legal definition.
-
its on a character. it is being used. If it wasnt, you could use it. The devs just changed the definition of used.
-
If I drive away with your car in the night...you werent using it. theft. "I was only taking it for a spin! Why are you so selfish?"
-
theft is theft. Sophistry will not change that. if it only affected accounts that hadnt logged in in a year, you might be right. Its like when someone went into my back yard and "reclaimed" my lawn chair. I mean I wasnt sitting in it so I must not have needed it.
-
The Great Name Theft was at least partly successful.
-
agreed. I am just saying that there are people that played a lot, were good at the game, that still havent seen all the nooks and crannies this game has to offer. Or just dont remember them. I knew people on live that played from day 1 to close that werent good at the game. but they had loads of fun, and were fun to be around. I knew people that played that had challenges to everyday life that the rest of us dont. I dont want to see a game that caters to the elite players only, like wow does. The devs release the costume system and set it to cater to the elite, while it is something rp'rs have been asking for for years. The costumes are set to 1 character only which will further complicate people with multiple specific use characters. It isw obvious that they want to incentivise +4 Tfs, but it may backfire on them.

stormies. always kick stormies. If they cant control their knockback they arent wanted. If you want a certain skill level...make a channel that only allows skilled players in it. only recruit from that channel. One of the great things about this game was that you could complete just about any content with the players you picked up in chat. this release blows that out the window. right now you are getting people in their tricked out super builds joining. before long you will see some people in SOs. the game was balanced around so builds. the devs decided to kill that and separate the game into eilte and nonelite players. expect a lot more of this sort of problem in the near future.
-
sure, but any specific part of the zone? I dont have a clue. out of 197 alts 2 of them happen to be red side. Not because I dont play the game, I just dont play that part of the game.
-
I dont feel screwing up the game for people is worth inconveniencing afk farmers. It annoys you, its not the end of the world. there is enough "you will play the way I want you to play" vibe in this release as it is. Do we really need the game to become superhero wow?
-
If you told me to go to a specific place red side, I probably couldnt find it. I leveled 1 toon there around I8. I dont go there very often at all. I am very much not someone that has been power leveled.

I always liked the run to the truck from the tram

Isnt the notion that the superhero just trashed all the guards downstairs and didnt break a nail so maybe you should go to the restroom and take a break until they leave a thing? I am going to go attack a walking thermonuclear weapon with a baseball bat? are you kidding me?
