  1. They're another way to get to zones.
  2. It's a lot different from Wormhole; Wormhole is a 20-foot AoE centered on the targeted foe with an 80-foot range, stuns and knocks back the targets, and doesn't require line of sight. Fold Space is a 100-foot AoE centered on you that just teleports targets to your side, with no control aspects, and requires line of sight.
  3. Sounds delightful for griefing.
  4. Before this patch you had fast Energy Transfer never. It's still an improvement.
  5. You can unlock Ouro at level 1 without talking to anyone by using the TUNNEL to go to Night Ward, grabbing the Midnighter badge, and then going to Cimerora through the Midnight Club and grabbing the exploration badge there.
  6. Some of the new pools are mutually exclusive with other pools, but there's no "this one power from this pool is mutually exclusive with this one power from another pool."
  7. There's no such thing as a boss Natterling. Although I don't see why lieutenants shouldn't count as 3, for all such badges.
  8. They show up in one or both of the new arcs added in the patch.
  9. Alright, now we're getting somewhere. You see this as a replacement for /enterbasefrompasscode, so that's why you feel like you "have" to collect the accolades on every character. That actually makes a lot more sense. You see? This is the value of communication. Before you explained that to me I saw the complaints as akin to "What the heck Homecoming, this new feature you're adding is a homework assignment."
  10. and buff Energy Punch and Whirling Hands, and speed up Total Focus and Bone Smasher, and add a desperately-needed second AoE attack
  11. I know, I was expecting this thread to blow up like a Rage thread. That's why I was like, "oh gosh I hope Galaxy Brain posts his charts right away so people know it's still amazing" Of course, Galaxy Brain did post his charts right away, so maybe that worked.
  12. Not currently, but you could suggest the command be updated to include power recharge/owned status as one of the things that popmenus can check when greying out powers. They can already do that based on things like badges.
  13. I'd say it definitely matters. Many players only used FoT for the sustain and couldn't care less about the control aspect. That's an equally valid perspective to have, and for them this is a major win.
  14. Correct, they will convert to 52 instead Edit: Curse you Jimmmmyyyy
  15. The only way I could possibly see someone earnestly claiming they "have" to do that is if they also actually took LRT on dozens or hundreds of characters.
  16. Yeah, I'm gonna be honest, I personally look forward to the asymmetrical costume option features mostly because it will let you make symmetrical costumes using normally asymmetrical options, like the peg legs and pirate hooks.
  17. The Shadow Shard zones (and all hazard zones) aren't even valid destinations for LRT.
  18. You're free to ignore Energy Focus and still enjoy buffs such as stronger Energy Punch and Whirling Hands, faster Total Focus and Bone Smasher, and Power Crash.
  19. One idea I pushed in closed beta was to make it so your LRT options depend on how many Teleport pool powers you have. Something like: 0-1: collect zone accolades like everyone else; 2: Get one accolade and unlock all city zones as destination, still need to unlock hazard zones; 3 or more: all zones available with one zone accolade. There are UI issues with letting LRT give you access to every single zone, though, so such a change might have to wait for those to be resolved.
  20. Determining the sets a power should take by the shape of the AoE will always be a double standard, because either melee-range TAoEs will be taking ranged IO sets, or ranged cones will be taking melee IO sets (or you'll just be arbitrarily determining whether cones take PBAoE or TAoE, I guess, since apparently Range slottability doesn't matter). Determining it by the names of the sets, as in, semantically, is going to be extremely flimsy, and should basically mean every kind of AoE except ones that don't require a target would use TAoE sets. Determining it by whether or not the power accepts Range enhancements is the only consistent, logical way to do it.
