Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy to read your walls of text, the more information the better. I just don't want people to shy away from posting if they're only comfortable with posting a single line instead. I've been debating on posting an "All About Warshade" guide myself, but it's even longer (9 pages) and I don't think the MFing Warshade has changed enough since for it to be necessary for people to read that much. I know they can, but I've never seen anyone post an actual build for one, so thank you for that. I dislike Spines myself and absolutely love Rad's kit, feels like a smoother SS in my opinion with a fun minigame of proc'ing radiation. If I build another /Fire brute for general content, I'll certainly be using your build as a base.

Honestly I would like to stay away from gatekeeping and trying to consider what is a 'trash build' and what isn't. I know there are some popular, not optimal builds out there, but I want this to be a list where if you think you have a better build, you can post it and people can compare the two if they want to be better (and I think the "tags" part should reference that, but if it doesn't, let me know). I don't think a character that's designed to be paired with another should be posted without an explanation, but if you make a post anywhere on the forum with both builds together, I can pin that build and link to that post and tag that build as Partner Dependant, As it would turn out, there's a lot of requests on the discord for builds that work well together with spouses/friends so it would only be helpful to post such a thing. As of right now, there is no plan to make a specifically farming section, just to tag things as "farmer". If there gets to be enough farming builds outside of the farming topic by Warlawk (and they probably belong there more than anything), then I may have to make a farming section yes. Any amount of information on how to play it most effectively would be excellent, whether it's one line or a @Redlynne wall of text, it'll help the person that's using the build be better with it. I mean builds that were actually made, have hit lvl 50 and have actually been played, not farmed to 50, IO'd out, then dumped lol. Other than that, I really don't have any other ability to QC, it's just what people think is good enough to be added. You don't have to have capped defenses or resistances or permahasten, there's no real requirements to being pinned besides being more than just a theorycraft that only exists in Mids. If you think your build deserves to be here, please don't hesitate to PM it to me and I'll add it. And the tags are generally the important things people should know about the build, like, is it Single Target only? Is it a GM/AV specializer? Is it cheap or expensive? Anything.

Thanks, I know it's going to be arduous to keep up and I'm somewhat new to managing this many, but I like to think I can handle the job. Honestly the tags come down to whatever you think a build deserves for a tag aside from the standard defense/resist/recharge (permahasten) ones. Personally I think Solo Friendly would mean "with a completed build" meaning it has everything you put in the build, IO sets and all, in which soloing AVs/GMs qualifies.

Without any idea how you built it, I can't really help improve it other than build one. Fire armor is inherently squishy and easily takes a beating, what you should focus on is keeping your resistances as high as you can and as much healing and recharge into your self heal as you can get as that'll keep you alive the most. Leveling Brute - Fiery Melee - Fiery Aura.mxd I built it with lvl 25 IOs in mind for leveling, so it's very cheap even if you don't have much money right now. Stick to making sure your Healing Flames, Fire Shield, Plasma Shield, and Tough are kitted out with enhancements first and foremost then start focusing on damage. Once you get Greater Fire Sword don't even bother with the regular one, you have better ST attacks already anyway. Burn and FSS should destroy groups and you wanna make sure Consume has some accuracy as you really don't want it to miss when you need Endurance. That's all the leveling tips I got really, for a lvl 50 build with IO sets I can put one together, but I'm no pro brute player (I only have 1 non-farmer 50 I hardly use).

So then windows 7 is the culprit? My desktop does indeed run Windows 7 while the laptop is Windows 10, so I suppose it's a client issue. I can't even begin to figure out what the problem would be between the 2 windows versions unless Windows 8 too takes 5 seconds like 10.

Hi, this has been a problem since I made the account but haven't felt the need to ask about it until I've seen other people with the same issue. I have a desktop that takes an average of 55 seconds to load the character list no matter if it's 1 or 10 characters. My laptop on the other hand loads within 5 seconds every time for the same account. The desktop is a core i3-2120 @ 3.3 GHz cpu and Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB gpu and sits at ~15% processing while CoH is running; it is also directly connected to the modem. The laptop is about the same specs and wirelessly connected. EDIT: I wanted to add, nothing changed by turning off my AV or firewall on the desktop.

I have to disagree as a build should be named for what it uses. People don't mention maneuvers or invis in their naming because they took it even though it's only as LotG mules. If someone is searching for a specific build and they want "Bi-form", they would expect that build to be making full use of 2 forms, which is not the case here. Semantics aside, WS seems to be a pretty expensive thing to make it good (survivable), at least 500mil in enhancements, is there any way around this?

Just wanted to point that out and also add, do you use all those trays?

This is the build I'm running right now, minus the purples and I think it's going rather well but I'm sure someone can improve it. I'm running consume mostly for those Mu bastards and other lightning Endurance drainers, but you can safely switch it out for a travel power of your choosing (change Maneuvers to Hover or Combat Jumping) and move the 1 slot to Fire Shield and gain some Toxic/Psionic resistance.
