  1. The teleportation power should be just as responsive (if not more) as jaunt, but with no cooldown, standard teleport range and remains effective at travel. Rather than 'combat teleporting' or whatever, teleport itself should just get the buffs to make it just as practical for combat as SJ, SS, and Fly are.
  2. I'd like to see teleport be quicker and more responsive for both travel and combat, not really advocating for a 'combat' version, unless it were to be a lotg mule.
  3. Granting this, as a best case scenario: If nerfed hasten is still needed to max out certain builds, then the change is entirely pointless. At worst, you just kill build diversity, rather than add to it, either due to PPM, faulty math, new bugs, or perhaps them deciding to nerf certain powers while they're adjusting everything. Resources are better spent on things that would make the game more fun. Don't fix what isn't broken.
  4. I'm against nerfing anything, especially something like hasten, which is massively important to high-end builds. Focus should be on bringing old dumpster fires like regen in line, and making commonly skipped powers more enticing. Realistically, the only way to 'fix' hasten would be to give it the fitness treatment and just give it to everyone, or raise the pool cap so people can just take the 'mandatory' powers while still being able to have a flavor ability or two of their choice. Same reason I'd be scared of a dominator rework, nerfing permadom would be awful. I'd rather they buff controllers. So yes, I'd be 3000% against nerfing hasten, and cautious of dominator changes. For your idea specifically, hasten is still going to be required in the builds that need it (read: all of them.), all that happens is that people without hasten might notice a slight difference when leveling. The work and attention that would be required to make a recharge overhaul work and not cripple tons of sets would be incredible - and I have zero faith in such a thing being done well, even if Powerhouse wasn't involved at all. Nerfing hasten would cause more problems than it would solve.
  5. Long as hasten's left alone, that sounds pretty great.
  6. Nerfing hasten would be probably the single worst power change they could possibly do.
  7. Nightcrawler wouldn't have lasted long if he was as slow as current teleports. Jaunt is awesome, I don't care for much of the experimental set, but speed of sound, specifically it's teleport, is how all teleport powers should behave. Instead of slowly flexing before reappearing in a slow hover, you vanish in an instant and are winding up an attack less than a second later. Teleports should be fast and practical in combat. I'd even drop combat jumping from some of my builds to fit it, were it to function like jaunt does.
  8. Fire/mental blaster. Solo gms/avs, blasts through +4x8 faster than a tw/bio, exemps down and still kills everything it sees, all while being functionally immortal due to drain psyche and IO'd defenses.
  9. Overwhelming force proc in savage leap works wonders. Put that in when I ran out of damage procs.
  10. Probably heavy mallet, same reason greater ice sword and vicious slash get the axe.
  11. In fairness, it doesn't get real bad till dark regen. >.>
  12. And I thought I was HC's harshest critic. This change is good, if you disagree you are wrong. /thread. 🙂
  13. I didn't see anything for savage brutes, so I figured I'd drop my first pylon run for HC in here. Savage/dark brute, 3:44 for roughly almost 300 DPS, if the math here is correct. I have since changed a few things, so might give it another go soonish.
  14. It's going to be hard to beat claws. Spin and follow up are absolutely insane for the level you get them at. My claws/bio is a meat grinder at any level.
  15. If you wanted to hit the absolute hardest, probably STJ, especially paired with bio. DB can get real close, though.
  16. I don't see the problem here. Throws bat at Doll Face
  17. As the title states, the customization option for this ability doesn't work properly, the character will still flicker into darkness as if the ability is on default settings. Evidently this only impacts brutes, as the scrapper/stalker variants seem to work fine.
  18. Stuff like this is fine, I'd say. Something like the teleporting dev command would not be fine. I'm generally for QoL and updating the clunk, so long as mechanics are left intact and the changes are largely positive. For example, I'm very much against the dark miasma changes. Technically correct and a 'fix'? Perhaps, but the set's as old as the game and this only serves to nerf existing /dark characters. Leave it alone.
  19. I'd be happy with JUST the invisible shield. Might look a bit weird if you nitpick, but the idea hit me as I was designing a costume where I didn't like any of the shield options.
  20. Not what I was going for, but I'll take it!
  21. I don't care for the idea, though a beam/dev is basically a ranged stalker in every sense.
  22. This thread would probably get more attention in the bug report section. This is sort of just for ideas/QoL to add into the game.
  23. Echoing thugs/storm as the king, but since you asked about demons vs ninjas, probably ninjas with /storm between the two. Demons will be tankier and not as micro intensive, but ninjas will shred single targets.
  24. Who cares about Kallisti Wharf? It was going to be the staging ground for the Battalion invasion, something I don't ever expect to happen. As far as I'm concerned, until (Big if, by the way) this gets officially licensed, the idea of new content is a pipe dream, so the best we can ask for is QoL and some updates to underperforming/old/clunky sets/systems. If it does, though - you can bet that the Wharf will have more visitors. I agree, but the early game enhancement system was actually broken and stupid. I'm no stranger to calling out what I think to be bad changes, but this is a good change. And I'm against that, I was kicking up quite a storm with the tar patch changes, something I still consider to be incredibly misguided. What does that have to do with this?
  25. @SeptipheranAnd what resources are being 'wasted' here? We already know of some changes being worked on for the next page, some of which I find deeply concerning and potentially misguided - but they are confirmed as in the works nonetheless. Sure, it sounds easy to add ingame tutorials for IO builds and set bonuses, except doing that in a 'simple' way would be really, really, really, really hard to do. The best option there would be to just copy/paste forum entries into a separate tutorial journal tab. Certainly not something a pop-up could do, additionally, I would call it more of a waste of resources. The IO system is a complete mess that insane people like us managed to make work - new players to the system have access to all the resources they'll ever need to get there, simple encouragement is all they need.
