  1. Do leave the singularity as a melee pet, though. I rather like it acting as a living bonfire.
  2. Got two builds ready, Thug uses mace mastery, bot one uses mu (Since the protector bot fills in the defense hole VERY nicely.) I figure the thug one will at least be better until the AI changes, bots running into melee is the worst. Also, got all of the most offending storm powers a -kd IO, so no worries there. Turns the annoying into the amazing.
  3. Order your assault bot to attack a target near the center of a dense pack, its incendiary missiles are insane. You'll get an immobilize from your epic pools later on, this will help leverage the burn patches better.
  4. I see Thugs/Storm is generally touted as some of the best damage a mastermind can put out, but how is it when paired with bots? Bot's main weakness seems to be single target damage, which storm summoning seems to handle just fine.
  5. Quirks related to demons aside, this is absolutely huge for bot masterminds, and I want it badly. To echo Micro's post, warshade essences may need a bit of a look too, as they still tend to divebomb into deathzones. Granted, it's not as bad as it used to be, but still.
  6. It's good, anything with /bio is, really. That being said, with Street Justice in particular I would roll it as a stalker. It's a weird case where you don't sacrifice anything noteworthy, plus the rotation is a lot smoother due to how AS works for STJ.
  7. That wouldn't bother me as much as being ineffective. Were the buffs sufficient, or is it still kind-of a weird secondary?
  8. Hey, returning after a bit of a break. Moving on from my warshade and fire/mental, I'm thinking about giving water blast a go. Right now I'm torn between /fire, /devices and /atomic, but I'm not sure what will be the best combination from a purely min/max perspective. Any insight is welcome. 🙂

  10. How does everyone feel these two sets compare? I went with storm on my gravity controller because it seems like a stronger soloing set, but I've been curious about /Time for a good while.
  11. Either beam or AR. DP wouldn't synergize as well with the whole 'killzone' thing, plus it doesn't have a proper snipe to take advantage of the drone with.
  12. My fire/mental has 32.5 defenses to everything, enough damage to quickly solo a GM, and massive regen/resists/recharge on top of it all. I'm pretty sure it's the strongest blaster combo.
  13. Not sure if a bug or not, but like the title says, a lot of the testing QoL features are gone. Noticed it after making a grav/storm controller for testing.
  14. Any chance you could post a build? I've been tempted to try the combo for the last week.
  15. Short idea that just kind of hit me randomly. Essentially, would it be possible to add the timer to buffs on your character like how they were added to ability cooldowns? Could be a nice QoL feature.
  16. Cautious optimism on my part. Frankly, it's too soon to come to any conclusions without resorting to slippery slopes. HC has made a lot of good decisions, I trust their judgement and integrity. Plus, if it goes to crap again, people will just continue to server hop and NCsoft loses out on a payout for an IP they never use.
  17. Interesting, perhaps necessary step to ensure we don't endure a second apocalypse. My concern lies on if the negotiations fail again. You've effectively painted a target on yourselves, from what I understand.
  18. I wish I could provide the trigger, but honestly can't. After a bit my third imp just decided to start spawning on later casts. It sucks for imp in particular, since it's sort of meant to have the three's cumulative damage stacking together, especially on a lone boss or whatever. The reduction in effectiveness is rather noticeable.
  19. Your understanding is incorrect. That's not how it ever worked on live. Can confirm the bug still exists on my dom, by the way, if any CMs catch this.
  20. Title. It's supposed to give double bonuses to pets, but does not as of right now.
  21. I'd rather stay on topic, so I'll only address this part. The creator of that sheet is constantly working on it to keep things accurate to the game, PM me and I'll let him know what those errors are. Dark blast does seem iffy, but I know for a fact that assault rifle, psy and fire all DESTROY Ice on single target, so meh.
  22. You're correct, the +tohit only lasts a little while after popping dom.
  23. If we oversimplify any argument to such an insulting degree, of course you'd get that impression. Snipes were openers that were later changed to be close to 'burst cooldowns/ranged Assassin's Strike' you could build to always have ready, now that's just the default. Building your character to perform great things is a highlight of the game, taking that away and giving it to everyone isn't necessarily a good thing. I also say this as someone who plays a plant/fire dom. This change will make my dominator even more of a god, practically. Why would I be against it? I think it's a clunky mess that achieves nothing.
  24. Ice requires less investment to be great at single target, but very quickly loses it's throne. Also: Snipes weren't useless to begin with on a leveling team, especially if you had people with +tohit buffs. You could pop build up, you could aim, you could have targeting drone, pop yellows, there was a lot of ways to get it to work without really doing anything complex.
