Comparison time... because I started the upscaling with the OpenArt AI, so let's see what Krea does with the same image. Nice. It added a choker for some reason, and got her glasses wrong... but didn't add straps to top and got her hair style and belt right. I honestly like the pantlegs over the boots on OpenArt's version better, though. The top of the folded boots looks like it's part of the pants, and Krea's looks like an extra layer between the pants and boots, just a puffy piece of fabric with elastic holding it in place.
-
And one more to really try confusing the AI... a mix of light and darkness, a skull chest detail on a headless body... That is the stuff of nightmares. The Dark Armor soul noir effects in black added those black rags effect and the starburst aura radiating out of it is amazing.
-
This should be fun with the coat clipping against the legs... Clipped areas translated as holes, as expected. Looks fine, actually. Only lost details in this one is her cigarette in both poses and the smoke from her mouth on the right.

Honestly, I've been quite impressed with how Krea handles the auras and effects just fine, usually without misinterpreting them or having them obscure something else to make whatever unrecognizable (like mist/clouds at the feet and the feet still showing up correctly). So let's play with some glowy effects and see what happens. First up, celestial aura on the eyes and gloves to make those glove crystals shine. Krea does indeed love those fabric wrinkles. Eyes lost the mask underneath but the glow is still there. Next, a bright aura over the hand, emanating from her glowing wrist bands... Mask and chest symbol changed, but otherwise this came out fantastic. I can actually see her right hand better despite the glow. And now for lots of flashy aura light flooding the image from top to bottom: And it looks like the rings on her upper arms were flattened out a bit, but the rest of the costume details are spot on, including the glitzy glowing.

I knew it was going to mess up the sunglasses somehow... but I didn't expect the armor pieces (chest, shoulders, belt, boots, and gloves) to come out so perfectly.

That would give a massive replay value to older games. On the other hand, if people could just apply it to their older games they might not want to buy new games. I suppose it really depends on what would cost more to develop, a new game from the ground up or applying the AI enhancement overlay to existing games. I think when they get such an idea fine tuned enough that it can be done quick, easy, and cheaply then we will see a resurgence in old games repackaged with new graphics.

Like my Atlantean above, I used the Blaster -> Ninja Training secondary with the elemental sword... this time to get an energy weapon instead of a watery blade. And maybe it was the electric aura on the hands, but Krea interpreted my attempt at a lightning blade quite well.
-
Interesting side note... I processed a similar image but with the Carnies sash-style belt and it interpreted the thong underneath as... something else. Watch out for NSFW content. Good to know... better to find out while I wasn't at work.
-
And finally, time for a little gunplay... Interesting how it translated the darker bottom of the skirt to slightly translucent.
-
I love this design... and it enhanced beautifully.
-
Overall this one came out great. The electric and fog didn't interfere or get misrepresented, the swirl pattern tights came out great. The only issue is the mask...
-
Krea vs the Malaise pattern... I think it handled it quite well.
-
And this time I went really inhuman. If some spookslayers confronted her, she'd probably be asking if they were gods...
-
Decided to try something a little less human with my Atlantean warrior, Aquablade. The belt and top didn't maintain consistency between the two poses, but still looks good overall... including how her sword looks like water and how the slime aura looks dripping off of her like she just climbed out of the sea.
-
My Energy/Invulnerability brute, Good Girl, came out almost perfect... only thing Krea messed up on was the G symbol
-
Look, an axe ninja...
-
And loving it!

And finally for tonight, my Longbow undercover agent Arachnos Soldier... The goggles on the Longbow costume got a little wonky, but fine... However, the helmet on the Arachnos soldier costume has been interpreted as hair covering the face and she's looking down... and the chest armor seems to be fabric. On the other hand, the hero costume and civilian party dress came out perfect.

I was really enthused to see how the big wicked grin would turn out. I was not disappointed... at all.

Triggerstorm is ready to blow you away...

One magical mad scientist, please. Here you go:

It's well past the holiday season, but if Horror Claus had his way it would be a bloody Christmas all year long:
-
Original Invulnerability Tanker version from before the shutdown at left, and Homecoming's Shield Brute version in the middle and right: I find it weird that the thigh high boots on the left seem to have been interpreted as having some separate layer thing going on below the knee on the left where the original boots are smooth all the way up, whereas the middle and right actually have a separating line there but its been interpreted as little more than a wrinkle.
