VoidWolf3
Looking at making a vampire themed stalker akin to Alucard from Castlevania. Am just wondering about/Regen's viability as a Stalker? is it a ball ache to level? survivable at end game? (with high investment i assume). If so then i'm more than happy to put the time in etc if it'll be beastmode at end game as i've heard the Scrapper version of /Regen can be also. If not, then i'll probably look at /SR as to stick with concept, either way i'm staying with BS/ as i've read it's quite the hard hitting primary on Stalkers. So provided it'll more than be able to crush end game content (and also not feel like it's a grind the whole way there), I'll take a stab and say build wise going for softcap S/L and then after that as much +recharge as i can get? being as how very click heavy /Regen is. Cheers in advance for any thoughts, queries, advice, build ideas etc Void

Without_Pause
Parry helps /regen so it should be one of the smoother rides to 50. I think the strength of /regen is in the late game with IOs so if that is the goal, then it should work out fine. Top 10 Most Fun 50s. 1. Without Mercy: Claws/ea Scrapper. 2. Outsmart: Fort 3. VoidWolf3
Cheers for the positive comments peeps! With that in mind here's my 1st pass at a build...defense is around 35% not including Parry but i think i've sacrificed Recharge to get it that high. Would love peoples opinions on the below build. Croax
Just a few things that i see: Most people don't use focused accuracy, it is not worth the high endurance cost. Hide has way too much slots, better use them elsewhere. You really should put the Gaus proc into Build up and not bother to slot with anything else, because of the ATO proc. Try to plan your incarnates, they really affect a build. Take a look on the ageless in destiny slot and you will think different about the body mastery pool, just for an example. Otherwise that build looks good to crush most of PVE out there, well done. I made a build for a league friend of mine. Maybe there are one or two things you can get an idea of. Stalker - Broad Sword - Regeneration.mxd 5.34 kB · 3 downlo Appreciate the critique Croax! The build you posted has also opened my eyes a bit also, i never thought of using the Soul Mastery Pool but it occurs to me that it's even more thematically accurate for the character than Body Mastery. Shadow Meld, what a great power! moving between that and MoG for every mob to mitigate the alpha is going to be dangerously good!

Ageless is nice and all but I try not to be dependant on it because when you exemplar down to do various TFs for dailies and such Ageless doesn't work and you find yourself gimped
Croax
That quote was directly meant towards the body mastery epic, because he had physical perfection at lvl 44 and at lvl 45 you would benefit from ageless. So in that case it was direct positive critique to improve his build. But you are right anyway. A build should not rely on incarnates. StrikerFox
For BS/Regen, I would probably roll with something like this to try to make regen the star of the set again. 70 hp/s passive regen, using perma Dull Pain and accolades for maxed hp. Instant Heal with a 50% up/down time, Melee Radial Hybrid with a 50% up/down time, Rebirth Radial with a 2 min uptime with diminishing return. It has the standard softcap to L/M with a single Parry. A small purple inspira will softcap E/N/R. Pretty average damage resist for a regen Scrapper. 45 seconds of god-mode with Shadow Meld and MoG. Has Moonbeam for runners and to add dps. MB might be the second highest dps attack in the build, next to AS, thanks to instant-snipe. Call Me Awesome
I have a 50 Fire/Regen Stalker with about 40% S/L defense and ~ 25% to everything else; she's VERY survivable in everything I've run into thus far so even without the assistance of Parry the set's more than viable on a Stalker. One problem with Regen on a Stalker though... you loose Quick Recovery for Hide and BS isn't the easiest on the endurance bar. I made sure to slot a Miracle +recovery as soon as I could. I tossed the Kinetic Combat set into all single target attacks for most of the S/L boost... this also has the benefit of frequently knocking your target on it's butt. I also had a 50 BS/Regen scrapper on Live that I played from issue 4 to shutdown. It's quite capable although my BS/Shield scrapper was better all around... I tanked a number of TF's with the BS/SD combo without assistance. 1 Guardian Survivor, occasional tanker and player of most AT's. Guides: Invulnerability Tankers, The first 20 levels.
