No, the Challenge idea will be to roll new Stone/Weapon tankers and run them only on Tanker Tuesday on Indomitable.  So once a month.  It will still be a normal TT, so mish team if needed for those not doing the challenge.

 

An All-Shield ITF is just an event idea for TT on Torchbearer this coming Tuesday.  Again, other teams will be available as it's still a normal TT.

Yes, leveling together and this time it's STONE/*weapon

 

The shield reference is for the next TTT on Torch, but it should be 35+ tanks for ITF.

Yeah, speaking of a dollar short I just looked at my Shield tanker.   He's still up on blocks in the back yard.  I must have scavenged him for ATOs at some point and also never really got around to IOing him yet even though he's 37.

We will need to find a good day to run the Tanker Tuesday Tour on Victory, but all of our Tuesdays are full. I'm not a fan of rotating the lower pop servers on alternating Tuesday like used to be done on Live, as we have been running on a consistent schedule for over 5 years now.

My suggestion is to TT on Victory much like we do for Reunion and run it on the first Saturday of each month. Likely in the afternoon as well, as apparently some people use Saturday nights for something called a "Social life", what freaks!😉

 

As always, open to suggestions from all TTers and discussion on how we can bring Victory into the Tanker Tuesday Tour.

 

I suggest the calendar be reorganized in such a way that each month has 6 Tuesdays in it.

There was a decent turnout on Torch tonight for Tanker Tuesday with 3 full teams running. And there were a bunch of new faces on the wall tonight that got welcomed into the Tanker Tuesday experience. Many Thanks to @X'Terra for leading the mission team.

@Warboss lead an All-Shield ITF at +2 and finished in 43 minutes.

And some foolish souls joined me for a +4x8 ITF that we got done in 59:41.

There were a couple of new 50's made today as well. Congrats to them

 

This Saturday, Jan 18th, we are on Reunion. 9:30 am PT / 12:30 pm ET / 6:30 pm CET

Next week, Jan 21st, sees the TTT on Everlasting. Yin and Faathim are the WST. Usual time, meet in Kings Row.

Just for clarification purposes, what constitutes "*weapon" for the secondary? I'm guessing it's powersets that have one or more distinctly drawn hand-held objects, but wanted to be sure before I roll it up.

 

It would appear to be:

Battle Axe

Broad Sword

Claws (possibly)  Incompatible with Stone Armor

Dual Blades

Katana

Spines (possibly)

Staff Fighting

Titan Weapons

War Mace

 

But please let me know if there are any that I am missing or incorrectly including.

I was able to get Warboss on Victory and started a new Tanker (Rad (of course)/Claws (not too sure about)). I didn't wait around to see if we were going to do a themed Tanker event there to start. But, something we haven't done was build "theme named" Tank, so we could build new toons with "Victory" in there names, or "TT" to signify they're Tanker Tuesday Tanks. Just a thought, not required. Or, we could run with the same Secondary (as opposed to the Primary as we usually do). Something not usually taken like TW or Kin Melee?

I think a whole team of Kin Melees might just drive me insane with those sound effects.   Neither set really stacks anything up either, except maybe the disorient in KM.

 

I know it's not your fave, but Rad Melee could be interesting in a full group.  Lots of damage patches and  the  Contaminated mechanism works no matter who applied the status.  So, e.g. you can hit someone and apply Contaminated and then someone else can hit them for the burst AoE damage or the siphon healing.

Zooooom, zoooOOOomy, Zooomy, Zooom.... *Smack*!!! True, but we could go bowling with Repulsing Torrent (slotted with KB/KD). Just imagine an ITF where we all fire that at the big mobs. STRIKE!!

 

 

I think Rad Melee would be fine with other sets. I just didn't enjoy it as much with Ice until the magic level 47... Ice seems to need a lot of catalyzed IOs to bring it into line with other Primaries.

That will be something to see. Although with the recent buff to Stone, probably won't be that bad and Mud Pots will help keep the mobs around you... Maybe not that bad of a combo...

Will try and make next Tuesday on Everlasting depending on if I can get my toddler to bed on time.

 

Themed secondaries, does sound interesting. What about Elec melee? Jacob's ladder has an expanded arc, there's stacking disorients, and lots of -end. Then also get lightning rod, which most people enjoy.

Personally I don't mind which secondary, I just thought elec might have some synergy working together. Victory is fine with me, as Michi could probably use more toons on her server. Are we leveling these together on TT nights, or just bringing them along for TT?

 

I'm subject to a 2 year old wanting to stay up sometimes so it can be a little challenging for me to make it all the time.

Okay. Unless I hear otherwise I'll plan for like when we did the dark/stones, leveling on our own and bring them out for TT.

I could get behind doing a themed Secondary challenge. Either Rad Melee or Electric Melee would be good. Or both, just run on different servers.

I will suggest we do not run a theme challenge on Victory just yet. Let's get the schedule set for that first (respond in the TT thread in the Victory forum if there are alternate suggestion to what is laid out there), and have people bring whatever tank they want to get that one off the ground. Can work on a theme for a Victory run in a month or two if enough people want.

@ZemX, what's your home server, let's plan on running Rad Melee there.

 

@SeraphimKensai, what's your home server, and we can look at planning an Electric Melee theme there.

 

Since we already have the "challenge" going on Indom, let's wait a month or two before starting the next.

I go between Everlasting and Excel depending on my mood.  Wouldn't say either is "home" since I'm good transferring my tanks wherever I need them.

I primarily play on Everlasting myself, but I have no qualms about transferring toons whenever I need to. I'm down for whatever really and I'm no rush one way or the other, as I'm enjoying my current project, as sacrilegious as it may be here in the Tanker Tuesday thread, of a fire/marine controller.
