Don't take Rebirth on a Regen scrapper

Turns out Rebirth's +regen isn't unresisted like most +regen powers.

 

Fast healing gives you regeneration resistance which makes you resist the +regen component from Rebirth.

I was hoping to hit 300 hp/sec with IH, or at least alternate them to be above 100 hp/sec at all times, but time to move onto Ageless or Barrier.

Bummer, but I'd think you'd be better suited with defense instead of still more regeneration, that's the way I went with my Regen Stalker.

This would require more significant testing. I ran Rebirth Radial on Retail Live specifically because it allowed for shuffling IH level of Regen during the downtime. There's possibly a bug that's become apparent, or something else being missed here.

from a few thousand hrs on /Regen chars, yep, this is exactly right. never slot more regen or bother with +Regen bonuses. softcap +Def 1st, backed with moderate +Res, loads of +Rech for the clicks ...presto, /Regen build that doesn't suck

Understood. My point was that +hp wouldn't be worthless for /regen.

oh, my bad, i misunderstood. +HP is definitely worthwhile for /Regen, but Dull Pain should be perma & easily get you to cap on top of set bonuses & Accos. i guess having a 2nd option to do so isn't a bad thing, but not the most efficient use of powers either.
