Macro / Bind Help

[Lockpick]

I have a character who is a rapper and occasionally he's got to say some stuff.  I want to press a key (let's say z) and have him say the bad guy's name and then other stuff in local.  Can anyone show me how to do that?

Note, you can scale back the "local" to just "L" and it will work the same, but save you four characters, which may be useful if you want to expand things.

 

Additionally, if you want to get more poetic, you can do something like this:

 

/bind z "L I'm spittin' fire that's hotter than the sun,$$L They say you got skills; but you ain't got one.$$L Feel that pain, $target?  That's me knockin' you down.$$L What?  You think you could win? You're a just some clown!"

 

Just be careful that you don't get yourself flagged for "spamming" by flooding the Local chat channel too much.

I remembered hearing that in bind files it'll execute the commands back-to-front, which as far as I can tell is completely false and maybe I had made it up, but at least it (and your post) gave me a concept for a kind of zen beat poet that rapped backwards. 😂

alternately, you can use the Homecoming Wiki that has all of the info from paragonwiki plus updated info that is Homecoming specific.
