Yes, that's good.  I'm also prepping for the "Page 2" theme, coming near the end of next month! 😉

After playing this character more, I'm not entirely sure if dark melee and psi armor go together; drain psyche makes two powers in dark melee pretty much useless, and as of now, I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. Debating if I want to play her more or use a different brute.

We may relax the theme somewhat, maybe just costume theme, since the Mirror Image badge requires a team of at least 4 and all the same AT.  We'll call it at game time, and I have a new alt who needs Manti anyway.

So happy I can join for this today. Not only do I love a Mirror Image run, I love an all-brute team! It's some of my fondest memories on live, of my friends and I all playing brutes together. 🙂 🙂  And I also love the costume theme. I'm going to bring Morning Frost - Ice/Ice Brute, and I'll see what I can do with an icy goth costume. 😄

I think it's mainly that it's summer, so people are taking holidays and/or spending time with family.  Game population has always seemed lower in the summer.  Going forward, we probably want to plan the non-50 themes during the summer (traditionally from Memorial Day to Labor Day)--I'd fallen into the trap when the WST was all high-level stuff (Ms Lib, Recluse, and Sewer Trial).

 

That being said, I'm thinking of a soldier theme for Shardtober.  This year, the last Saturday in October is St. Crispin's Day.

Next week (30 Aug) I have no official theme (Labor Day weekend) [WSTs are Market Crash, Op Renault, Moonfire].  If you're online, @Burnt Umber was considering a Market Crash with Tradesmen/Laborer/Union Worker costumes.

With regard to Shardtober, perhaps a bit of discussion to help guide themes:

• In the Shard TFs we have four opportunities for Mirror Image or Variety Act badge runs.  It can be a little harder to nail down Mirror Image, so does anyone need that badge on a character?  (And what AT are they?)  On the other hand, I've mostly tried to stay away from AT/Power themes (and stick to costume themes) for the higher-level TFs, since people may want/need to level a new character to qualify.
• I love the Shard TFs, but they can be a bit lengthy.  Especially Dr Q, which requires some effort/planning to complete in under 2 hours.  Is this okay, or would you prefer to do the shorter ones?  So far, I've only put the Shard TFs on theme during the traditional Shardtober, so once per year.

I am not a fan of the Shard TFs, namely because many of them are long, so Shardtober is something I will be skipping (and please don't change your plans for me, I know you all like doing Shardtober).
