Best of Blasters

Blapper: Fire/Fire/Mace

Hover: Water/TA/Mu

Blastroller: Fire/Fire/Fire Dominator 🙂  Best and easiest control in the game when properly slotted, Great ST and all the AOE of a blaster minus the Nuke.  The damage multiplier is better than that of a corrupter and is a suuuper fun toon to play.

My Blapper build: I am not a huge proc man on this build because it does so much damage anyway.

Dom/Blastroller 😄  My personal Dom playstyle is to never have to rely on hasten for permadom.  I also prefer to have Barrier as an oh s**t power instead of ageless.

I rolled up a water/elec and it's tier 1 in my heart.

I have a Water Atomic and it's Tier One as far as I'm concerned ... Water anything really but especially with Bonfire from Flame Mastery.  I really like the rotation of Geyser in the first set of mobs and then Bonfire/Whirlpool/Steam Spray in the next.  You get pretty good recharge with Metabolic Acceleration and Beta Decay.

I've found Steam Spray surprisingly useful on exemp'd TFs or anything lower level.  I don't use it much on iTrials or steamrolling PI +54 teams, but I'm glad I kept it as I do use it a ton on lower-level TFs.

This is my live Water/Plant build (Water The Plant).  Soft-capped E/N and Ranged., fwiw.   Probably have to figure out how the new issue changes mean I need to adjust slotting.

With the new patch and buffs coming to /Ninja Training (reduced cooldown on Lotus Drops, and higher cooldown/increased damage on Golden Dragonfly), I'll be tinkering with a Fire/Ninja/Munitions high risk/high reward debuff blaster. Munitions is often overlooked because the shield it offers is literally the worst, but it offers Surveillance as a strong single target debuffing choice. Surveillance with achilles heel and a fury of the gladiator proc in golden dragonfly = consistent 54% resistance debuffing. Smoke Flash can also take off an additional 10.5% aoe resistance. Popping off -64.5% resist debuff should be great for shredding AVs on teams while keeping juicy blaster damage. Choking powder is also pretty nice with 5 dmg procs and a chance for build up, which helps alleviate the lack of true build up in the secondary. Golden Dragonfly can proc Forcefeedback +rchg, which is often unavailable to most blaster builds that lack knockdowns.

I am curious why Energy secondary isn’t a Blapping set?

Power Thrust, Energy Punch, Bonesmasher, Build Up (all by level 6 or 8), Power Boost, Total Focus... even a Stun?

I ran Blameau, Nrg/Nrg Blapper both live, and on HC, to 50 and laughed the whole time.  I have tried Elec as a secondary for similar use and found Energy suited me better.  It felt slower, I think I recall.

Air Superiority is the Go to pool power for a Blapper.  Juggle a boss if needed.  Cross Punch may be a substitute, but the reliability of AS is great for survival.
