I've been seeing the Granite Armor in Stone Armor...

+Def (37)= ok

+Protection (15) = ok

+Resistence (10) = ok

- Recharge time (65) = ok

- movement(and no jump) = ok

but... -dmg? (30) why?

Does someone explain the logic to me? Turns into a STONE COLOSSUS and loses damage?

I don't say I should win, but I shouldn't lose!

It is the suggestion to make power more logical! Take these -dmg only. (And it could change the color of the granite ...)

Nobody else uses that power, so maybe they would inspire them to use it again.

The Yoda of the forum, @Bopper had a monstrous Granite tanker build.

Granite can deal ^^

Equvilent to a T9 rage crash, with 6 slots split between Def/Resist you can run it 24/7 at over half the soft cap of def and half the resist.  On a toggle no less.

Had a thought, if they ever port it to scrappers it probably going to be a T9 Icy Bastion Ice Armor for sentinels or the Shadow Meld in the scrapper Soul patron pool.  I just can't see a scrapper with a slow boulder build being successful, most scrapper armor sets tend to be about movement and ass kicking while brute/tanker is about taking it in the jaw then smiling back before pounding them into the ground.

You move slower, therefore have less momentum.

Never bought it; the additional weight and density would easily make up for it when your pounding things. Freakshow tanks, giant monsters, heavy weapons like mace and titan weapons (the latter of which puzzlingly now will do less damage with momentum directly refuting this) all good in-game examples of why the damage penalty is illogical. We all know the real reason it was added was because the devs thought it was pretty OP to have a T9 toggle so added some debuffs to balance it out. Which probably isn't even needed anymore honestly. The -rech makes sense though.
