Hello,

 in beta patch:

  • Henchmen upgrade end costs have been reduced from 22.75 to 11.375

 

I'd suggest:

  • Henchmen upgrade -> auto:   once acquired, every summoned pet has upgrade installed

I am with you but there is a very vocal segment of the player base that feels this is tactical in some fashion. It was covered ad nauseam on the masterminds board in last two weeks.

I could see an argument for, if you have pets of a particular rank already upgraded when you summon more (i.e., replacing a single Battle Drone) the pets already summoned 'spread' their upgrades to the new pet(s). So you could summon two tier-1 pets, or one tier-2 pet, and have them inherit their upgrades from existing pets, but the tier-3 pet, or resummoning all three tier-1 or both tier-2 pets would need to be upgraded manually.

Doesn't this already happen if you have differently upgraded pets and zone with them?  I recall having to respawn minion tier pets inside a mission and then zoning out (with exit mission button) to have all three get the most upgraded ones' upgrades as well.

I like the upgrades being manual because you don't have to reapply. This alone makes it infinitely better than your secondary set anyway - it'd be much more fun if I didn't have to spam AM over and over for example. Just once per map/death defeat would be awesome kthx.
