  1. You'd better be satisfied if you wanna keep those thumbs, capische? *cracks knuckles*
  2. That depends. Are the pi(e) square?
  3. Three entire sets, as I recall.
  4. Champions Online and Star Trek Online, if I recall correctly. Before CoH he was a tabletop RPG writer.
  5. They are, actually. The media materials for the Rogue Isles back when CoV launched said that the Rogue Isles are a UN protectorate. That doesn't make them a voting country, but it does mean that UN troops have a presence, either de facto with boots on the ground, or de jure, with legal rulings declaring it so. They purportedly set them up where there's a significant risk of war without "the international community" sticking its nose in the middle. Right now according to wikipedia the UN controls either physically or legally, three of them. As an illustration of where they do that, the three are Cyprus, the Golan Heights, and Kosovo.
  6. This is very much a "Not our circus, not our monkeys" situation.
  7. To summarize this, the resistance in evasive maneuvers reduces the knock of the power that affects you by that percentage. So a 10 mag knock would be reduced by 75% to 2.5 mag. That reduced mag would then be compared to the knockback magnitude protection provided by other powers, if any to determine if you're affected. Acrobatics offers both mag protection and resistance, so the incoming knock values are first reduced, and then checked against the protection it provides. Practiced Brawler's 10,000% knockback resistance means that you're effectively immune to knockback while it's active, since even a magnitude 1000 knockback would be dropped to .1 mag before being applied against the mag protection.
  8. How so? I tried that with a character once a while ago and don't recall noticing any differences in the dialog or mission structure.
  9. My personal opinion is that NFTs are specifically designed and structured to facilitate money laundering.
  10. Doesn't this run into the problem that if you're close enough to read the character's tag you're already in visual range to be caught in the stream cam?
  11. I'm confused, how does changing where the piece is listed effect the actual model/texture of the various tattoo tops? Since as far as I'm aware the fixed asset will be layered where it's set to layer (i.e. the chest and arms).
  12. While we're at it, we should change the Panacea and Performance Shifter procs to also do damage to the power's user when they trigger. It'd be hilarious. And I say that as someone who uses both in almost all my builds.😇
  13. And yet nobody ever listens when you try to tell them that.
  14. I thought that was how we got Numina, player winning a "design a Phalanx NPC" contest.
  15. That's actually not a bad Yin derivative costume. Maybe a little sexier than I'd assume the actual character would go, but definitely within the realm of believable outfits. EDIT: On second thought, it's a lot closer than it looked at first glance. Now I'm more impressed.
  16. Some series let you do that, but for me I prefer to see the situations and relationships develop themselves so that I have context. Plus with how fast I read it's less challenging than it might be for others to start at the beginning. :) As for Battle Ground (the most recent Dresden book) treat it as the second half of Peace Talks and prepare yourself for Big Things(tm).
  17. I read more in a week than most people do in a year. My current reading project is the four book fantasy series Ancient Dreams, which I started earlier today (2/19) and am a quarter of the way through the third book. As I went through them I also realized that I'd read the series when it was originally published a couple years ago, so more like an inadvertent re-reading. I'm not sure what's next on the list, I often see what's new in Kindle Unlimited and try things that catch my fancy there. If it's something that suggests being "book X of a series" I go back to find the first book and start from there.
  18. For me the order is: First Captain America First Iron Man First Avengers First Thor A painful genital strike everything else in the MCU
  19. I used to but these days pretty much the only unsolicited tells I make are things like "you have a typo in your bio, [what it is]" or "That bio made me laugh"
  20. Why? Sentinel /regen is the most playable version of the set.
