Note on fire farmer: had issues with mids, replace the second Endurance Shifter in Stamina with Power Transfer: Chance to Heal Self proc. Get all enhancements to +5/attuned over time.

For Empath/incarnates - focus on healing/recharge, there are a few options in Alpha for this, get Ageless on destiny, the others are up to you.

For Farmer/incarnates: Alpha - Musculature Core, Destiny - Ageless, Lore - Rikti/Carnies/Banished Radial, Hybrid - Melee Core first, then Assault Radial, Interface - Degenerative Core, Judgement - your call

Looking at it, its a terrible duo as its basically redundancy for the brute and the Emp provides next to nothing the brute doesn't have already.  You would be better with a Kinetic or something with debuff like Trick Arrow/Radiation.  Poison works, but the AoE of the debuffs is tiny!

Over 200% recharge and the Brutes attack chain is going to have powers available faster, but things like burn don't stack. It's overkill IMO. Damage is going to be capped too between chewing reds, Fury, Build Up/Fiery Embrace, and IOs. And endurance recov is essentially capped as well with Ageless every 2 minutes. And then all that's left is fire defense at or around 45%. Sneeze and you've got capped fire resists so that's not even important really.

So why do you need a pocket emp for a fire farm? If it was outside AE content, that could potentially make more since to me.

Yeah, hate to pile on, but the a farm brute, built properly need absolutely no assistance from any other character, empath or even another brute. The only reason to have the other character in the map is so the other character can gain some inf, some threads & emps, drops - that kind of thing.

An emp still has utility in this game. But if a brute needs an emp, they're better served doing a respec and building the brute properly so the emp isn't needed. Use the other account the emp is on and play the game while the brute sits in the map with burn on auto. Reset, repeat.

I could see a case for maybe using the emp for levels 28 to vet level 3, though.

This is for a very specific process for someone who wanted a suggestion on how to  level up a fire farmer on their own with two accounts.

Out of curiosity, why pair the Emp with the Brute?

This was posted specifically for someone who wanted a suggestion on how to dual box a fire farmer to full build on their own.

See above response. The goal is not to make perma-burn, though the more often its up the more often the -res proc hits. This is about having a utility buffer support an in process brute survive out of range fire farm runs.

Redundancy is helpful if you are a solitary farmer that goes afk or runs semi-afk. Kin is great when the farmer is at full build and can control aggro. This is not for that.

Yes - once properly built.

Okay, but the -res proc doesn't stack, and most enemies (outside of EBs) die within a few seconds in fire farms so it still doesn't seem necessary to me. I can understand needing a pocket emp as the fire farmer levels up though.

How?  If both are AFK at best you will be single target range healing...if +4/8 is to much you can knock down the level to +3/8 and still AFK with just the brute. Even 2 brutes could do it better at +3/8, both share the tanking while burning it down faster.

when incarnates are on cooldown and you need to go afk, drop slotted fort/adren on the brute and thats that. Again, this is specifically for someone who wants to run as a solitary (not always AFK) farmer with an emp/brute combo at 4/8.

the -res proc doesn't need to stack, just be in the mix. most enemies do not die in seconds with an unfinished farmer build.

a fire tank + kin seems like a far superior duo than the classic entry level brute setup

much greater AoE = more death
