Anyone out there still using an XBOX controller?

My buddy just got back to CoH, and he used to roll using an XBox 360 controller. Now it doesn't seem to be working on the game (it works otherwise). Any advise?

I use a PS2 controller and sometimes the ingame setting dropdown switches from 'joystick' to something else and it seems like the controller just isn't working. I think the dropdown is on the keymapping screen.

 

I can provide more details if needed when I'm at the gaming comp.

I really need to remember that this works (and setup my PC accordingly) if I ever get back to playing as controllers are much easier for my hands.

 

Side Note: I've always Hated the "click-click-click" of those controllers

I've tried to make a controller useful with CoX a number of times. It can be done but the game is just not controller-happy. At best, you have to map a bunch of weird buttons for power activation.
