I use a PS2 controller and sometimes the ingame setting dropdown switches from 'joystick' to something else and it seems like the controller just isn't working. I think the dropdown is on the keymapping screen.

 

I can provide more details if needed when I'm at the gaming comp.

I really need to remember that this works (and setup my PC accordingly) if I ever get back to playing as controllers are much easier for my hands.

 

Side Note: I've always Hated the "click-click-click" of those controllers

I've tried to make a controller useful with CoX a number of times. It can be done but the game is just not controller-happy. At best, you have to map a bunch of weird buttons for power activation.

 

It'd be nice, but.
