Another Electric/Shield Stalker

Hello all! So I just unlocked all incarnates on my Elec/Shield stalker and I'm loving the toon. I've been following Kruunch and Coax's thread with their builds, and im probably going to run a mostly similar build to the one Kruunch runs with Zapp and Spring Attack.

Just as a general question, is this build the most optimized version I can run? I would like to eek out as much damage as i can and im looking for someone to fine tune this build and optimize it as much as possible. I would love to find a way to perma Hasten and up the damage if possible, even if I have to sacrifice some survivability to do so. Thank you all for taking the time.

This is his build, the most up to date i can find, all credit goes to Kruunch for this build.

Slightly improved version of this build I'm currently running:

Going for Mu Epic and skipping Ball Lightining or 3 slotting Hasten are choices that i would not make. Here is the build that i have currently posted in my Tier List Thread. It is the latest version of my Elec/Shield which i have not played for a very long time:

Thanks for the reply. I did drop a slot from Hasten. I didn't take bill Lightning because Spring Attack is that "other" AoE although I am very tenuous about this decision still.

With that build, are you at perma-hasten?

I've reviewed that build alot and wonder if it would be changed in the modern meta.

how are you guys finding endurance on this combo? i’ve just rolled one as my third alt in 3 years and quite excited for it

i see you’ve both chosen thunder strike, does it regularly feature in your attack chain or is it mainly for limited scenarios?

Hopefully you made the right choice and switched to Ball Lightning.

Here's why.

Spring Attack does 55+ points of Smashing damage within the initial 5 foot range. It does 27+ points of Smashing damage for those outside of that radius up to the max radius of 15 feet. CoD doesn't show it as being able to crit. Max targets is 10.

https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=redirects.pool_leaping.spring_attack&at=stalker

Ball Lighting does 10 points of Energy damage three times over 3 seconds and 16+ points of Energy damage to start. This translates to 46+ points of damage. There is no diminish within the 15 feet radius. It also can crit. Max targets is 16. Also note, it is far easier to fire off. You can even slot the Chance to KD proc in it to mimic what Spring Attack does.

https://cod.uberguy.net/html/power.html?power=epic.stalker_mu_mastery.ball_lightning&at=stalker

Spring Attack is a neat idea supported by bad numbers. There's a reason why hardly anyone takes it.

I'm merely posting for anyone looking later on. These forums are pretty good for people to necro topics. More so with Stalker threads as this is one of the slower sections.

what changes to stalkers have been made since the post? i’m a bit out of the loop on melee ATs

Perhaps start a new thread as i am not really a main stalker player.

Just wanted to point out this is an old thread just in case you hadn't noticed...easily done :).

It literally says 3 months later above MoonSheep's post. Yes, it is an old thread. I knew that. MoonSheep was even asking the people who included Thunder Strike in their builds about it. in the land of nercoing, this is mild.

I just created one of these myself.

"The Electric Horseman"

I also plan to take Spring Attack. I hear negative things about it, but I'm taking it for fun.

I will also be taking Mu Mastery for more electric powers.

what level are you up to so far? i‘ve been soloing mine and up to around 22 so far, i have a reasonable attack chain but think it’ll really come alive when i have both lightning rod and shield charge
