Hi all! I got my Stone/Rad to 50 and got some incarnates. It's super fun since the synergy between contamination and brimstone is really pretty. I make clouds of numbers, and I find it amusing.

However, now that I'm here, I want to make a few builds. The build im running around on is literally some uniques with mostly lvl 35 invention IO's so it's time. BTW she is relatively sturdy with just this setup, so anything extra I can squeeze out of it would be lovely.

I plan to eventually run with multiple builds. This is my non-granite which is my every day tank. I would like to have a granite build for times when granite is necessary (I haven't had anything flatten me in non-granite yet, but I know it's out there!). I would also like to have a build that does more damage for soloing. I probably don't need extreme tankiness for that build. But I'm not there yet, so I'll focus on just the non-granite.

My goals are to have typed defense at 45 or higher (ofc) and then boost my resists, especially S/L and energy. My secondary goal is to cap my HP and get as much regen as possible, since stone armor really plays towards regen as a strength. My third goal is to make sure I have enough blue and slow resist and recharge to keep everything fun.

This build probably has a lot of nonsense in it. That's where I am hoping someone can help!

Here is the long form build:

I am not on my gaming pc so can't look at your build right now, but this one is my stone/rad tanker. For the most part I had similar goals. I am sure the proc supremacists will have a problem with the build, but I feel powerful on it and enjoy playing with it. Note: Focused Accuracy only needs to be on when you get hit by lots of debuffs

Mines not very tanky, more for messing about and fun, just scrapes in enough def+res and fold space:

I kept meaning to get around to making this post and forgetting, and then never making it down to my office at the end of the day and yadda yadda, here we are a week later and by-golly I'ma make the post! I wanted to talk about, or maybe more just show, the irony of what can happen in a Granite focused build when all the slots fall in to place.

This is my "Hard Mode" Stone/Electric/Mu named BAUHAUS! I was looking at making an all-arounder unkillable Tank that could take advantage of extra AoE spread for attention grabs, some added debuff tickling, and elements of the attack set that would benefit Granite, Electric ticked a lot of those boxes for me (it comes with its own teleport!) and Rad can too in much the same way, so these should translate fairly well.

There's the build. I can count on one hand the times I've used Granite for real, most of the time I run around without it turned on at all. In my pursuit of getting Granite to 59% typed Defenses and 90% Resists (and Psi as high as I could), I ended up with so much surplus that when I turn it off I still have enough to exist at soft cap for S/L/E/N and Brimstone still keeps me in the 80's for F/C resists. I am effectively still a very difficult to deal with Tank on that premise alone, but then there's all the other goodies shuffled in there with it like the 30% extra damage I get back that Granite isn't eating, all the slow debuffing is off, etc. There's also just enough global recharge to offset Granite's -Rech value too.

Just some minerals for thought.

Hey! Thank you so much! I do believe I can make all these work together to make something super beautiful now. Non granite stone really is so easy to work with.
