Scrapper or Brute for Soloing All Story Content ???

If you're going fire armor I'd go brute for the higher resist cap, and higher hit points. Cause fire armor can be a pain in the ass to use, but it can also be very strong. Going brute will just help you out a little before you can invest in full IO sets trick it out. 

 

Now if you were setting yourself up with io sets from the get go, or teaming along the way it wouldn't matter and you couldn't either scrapper or brute as BD/Fire and do great. But as a solo project I'd go broot for that slight edge they have in hp/resist

One thing to note about fire armor on a scrapper is that it will cause enemies to flee as opposed to a brute which will taunt them

i wanted to just say, its not the toggles i hate, its amount of energy you chug.  In that case, would regen be a better choice, and if so what primary would you choose ??

I think Bio probably offers the best endurance economy.  A good passive early, then a really powerful click later on.

 

Energy Aura and Electric armor eventually get top tier, but their endurance tools come late.

Anything will solo everything in this game since we have a difficulty slider and envenomed daggers.

Ice and Ninjitsu have really good end recovery too. And Fire Armor too I guess.
