Levelled content solo brute: spines/bio, spines/rad, rad/bio, or rad/rad?

Yeah, so, I've managed to settle on theme well ahead of power selection and now I'm stuck with a concept leading me to a class I've had very little experience with either back in the day or since my return to the game two weeks ago. I'm really just wondering which of these would perform more than passably doing the majority of my work solo. I, myself, don't have any play-style prerequisites since the brute is outside my traditional area of interest. That's probably also why I feel so helpless in making this decision. I toyed with dickering around on the test server but I thought maybe the hive mind would have some insight.

I would say that the best pairing of those is Spines/Bio.  (btw I have a 50 Bio/Spine Tank, and 50 Rad/Shield)

Personally, due to long animations, I would only use Rad with WP or Shield/SR.

I really appreciate the feedback! I just needed one other voice inside the echo chamber. My favourite melee toon I had pre-shutdown was a spines/regen scrapper that was also one of my first 50s. That's all the reassurance I needed!

My main is a Spines/Bio Brute.  Shes basically done (4/4/4/3/3/3) and I still spend a lot of playtime on her because its so much fun.  The layers of stance-dancing and deciding when to use your three clickies keep it from getting boring, but its solid enough that Im not stressed unless Im pushing the envelope.  Id make different choices on incarnates if I did it all over (the resistance to debuff one looks better and better!) and I still have some problems with +3 AVs... but its just so much fun that I cant make myself care.

Oh I haven't got a build prepared or even theorized. I'm too casual of a player to pour that much time into things. That's why I was leaning toward brute as it seems like a fairly low maintenance AT for a casual solo experience. Am I maybe barking up the wrong tree? I played much more intensely when the game was live (oh to be young again), but tended toward controllers/dominators/corruptors and MMs in equal measure. I did roll up a PB last night just for a quick look and it seem from what I can remember that they got a bit of a buff? Maybe it's my imagination.

This build could probably be tightened up a bit - it doesnt softcap unless your rnning defensive stance (Id often run Musculature ratehr than Agility, and just hop into Defensive if I needed it.  Give the damage hit is against the background of a huge buffstack, Brutes can afford Defensive Stance better than Scrappers or Tanks)

If I had it all to do over again, Id juggle some slots and change a few sets, but shes 'baked in' on live, now, and were looking at a few % points here or there that I wont notice outside a spreadsheet.
