MsSmart Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Hugs I know it's supposed to be 5 minutes in between swapping of incarnates, as long as you are not in combat. But somehow, it feels way longer than 5 min, but I am sure its an illusion. It would be helpful, if a timer is placed to tell me how long to wait as it is done with costume swapping? Thank you Sue 3
Clave Dark 5 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I'd like this too. I've been told you can reset this by turning off all your toggles and zoning (Ouroboros was a popular option) and then you can swap them out without more waiting, but the timer would still be a useful thing regardless. Tim "Black Scorpion" Sweeney: Matt (Posi) used to say that players would find the shortest path to the rewards even if it was a completely terrible play experience that would push them away from the game... ╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗ Clave's Sure-Fire Secrets to Enjoying City Of Heroes Ignore those farming chores, skip your market homework, play any power sets that you want, and ignore anyone who says otherwise. Another way is to switch to another team on a league. (Assuming no one on the new team has attacked, etc..., but you can get put on a solo team) 1
biostem Posted January 7 Posted January 7 From my understanding, it has more to do with you or your teammates taking actions that would flag all of you as "in combat", thereby preventing you from switching. If that is indeed the case, then making sure none of you are in combat in any way, is paramount to being able to switch quickly. Maybe we just need some indicator that we are or are not in combat.
Rudra Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Unless things have changed, @biostem is correct. It doesn't matter how long your character has been out of combat as long as any member of your team has done anything to flag themselves as being in combat. As far as I am aware, even if there is no actual combat going but the character is using an attack that doesn't need targets to keep Fury up. So while I can see the benefit of a timer while solo, it doesn't really help on a team. Especially during a TF/SF since you can't even attempt the trick @lemming mentioned. 1
MsSmart Posted January 8 Author Posted January 8 The major issue with the cooldowns, is after a respec, I loose all my incarnate power icons, and have to grab and drag them, but when I go for a second or third version, say destiny, the cooldown is just ugly. Hugs Sue
