What exactly is the output from?
I'm confused as my tool doesn't target .NetCore at all, it's .Net 4.6.1 which are 2 different runtimes.

Can you share a screenshot of the error including the *entire* Modder window?

Please, for the love of old people like me, please allow us to change the size of the text in the window. Either give us a selector, or let the window allow for shift+scrollwheel or shift+up/shift+down or whatever, I don't actually care, please let me see what I'm trying to install without putting my nose on my monitor screen lmaoooo

It just brings up that error constantly. I'll PM you the details of said error if you want me to.

Thanks for trying to help but it's just becoming too troublesome to deal with. Will just manually install mods.

If I could bother you to try once more, I've updated the program to use .Net 4.8, you'll need to re-download the zip from the mod site, just wondering if that fixes this for you.

I hope that works for Faelia, because this is such an awesome program. (I had problems getting it to work at first, but it was because I didn't put it in the right place.) The mods I installed have added so much enjoyment to my game. Thanks a quadrabazillion times over for giving us this gift, Michiyo.

I do need to reinstall it myself.  Not sure if wine or something else went off kilter.

I assume wine wants dotnet48 installed now?

It is what I have installed, but it might be something with Gecko now, though it should be present.  I'll dig into it more when my brain isn't as fried.  Shouldn't be too hard to do though.  (I did do some initial stuff, but so far no luck.   it will happen.)

The app does come up and then wine complains, but nothing can be done with it so I then need to kill the process.

If it helps, the Wine that I have packaged with the Mac version is "frozen" at 9.0.  Sometimes later versions of Wine can break things for a while until they get fixed again.  If you can, downgrade Wine and see if that works.

I just pushed out an update removing the WebBrowser control and replacing it with a Rich Text Box.  It won't look quiet as nice, but it's actually functional (In theory).  Please let me know if updating.

Wouldn't update by calling it, but I downloaded the newest.  No longer get a Gecko error

We now get this stuff.  It then hangs for a long time, then the attached message pops up.

I then need to kill it again.  (ctrl-c since I called via command line...)

Currently looking to see if something on my end can be done.  (juggling rl atm)

That's confusing as you can download the actual zip, why would it time out when loading the mod data?  Also absolutely NONE of that code has changed in a while...

Yea, not sure myself.  Quick glance shows this error does pop up for others (on other wine things), so looks like there may be a solution to be had.  I'll work on it later.

Still doesn't work. Would deleting any of these files help for a total delete(for a total fresh reinstall) of it. May bite the bullet and just reinstall HC to see if that fixes it.

None of that has anything to do with the modder, and wouldn't effect it in any way.  The tool doesn't even depend on your HC install, so reinstalling won't make any difference.  Something has broken your .Net Framework install, apparently enough to break multiple versions of it.  Sadly I don't have any real troubleshooting I can offer you with that.

Thanks for trying. Guess I'll need to manually install mods.

I am experiencing an error while attempting to use the mod installer (v1.1.9181.28343). After installing any mod (test case is "Vidiotmaps for Homecoming"), I receive an unhandled exception error with "The given key was not present in the dictionary" when I click on the Installed Mods section. The mod does appear in-game.

Full error log output:

https://pastebin.com/SQU1mvFC

Screenshots:

Confirmed Game Path matches Install Location (error occurs with or without trailing backslash)

image.png.575be5d47f06045388618c8b5a5bae80.png

Confirmed successful installation, but error message appears.

Other context:

- I am using the newest Homecoming launcher that does not require a separate Tequila installation. I was not prompted to modify the launcher by City Mod installer.

- CoH Homecoming is installed on a non-system drive (System is C:, game drive is D:)

- City Mod Installer creates this error regardless of whether it is on drive C or D.

I checked a few previous pages to see if anyone else had this error, but it seems to be unique. Did I skip a step during City Mod Installer setup? Was I supposed to rename the Homecoming 'data' folder to something specific? I tested with and without an empty data folder, and the error persists. Any troubleshooting help would be welcome.
