Allow normal travel powers to affect MM pets

The amount of times I see people complaining about having group fly on or their pets lagging behind super bad is more then most complaints 😄 

Could we not just allow the Travel Powers we pick to affect the pets you summon too?

So if you want Super Speed, your pets get Super Speed.

If you want Fly, your pets get Fly.

If you want Super Jump, your pets get Super Jump.

And if you want Teleport, your pets Teleport with you.

This would make certain powers like group fly and team teleport more useless, but lets be honest, they are pretty useless anyway and would save a MM having to pick them for their pets to have cool travel powers.

     It's true, MM pet speed is one of many many many many MANY unique-to-MM weaknesses that causes them to literally and figuratively lag behind every other AT in the game as soon as "going fast" becomes the objective.  MMs can inherit certain caster effects, so travel powers would be a good one.  Or MMs should finally get their long overdue inherent "Tp all my pets to me" button to circumvent the need for pets to have travel powers.

No it isn't. All pets and henchmen have the movement issue. It is most noticeable with NPC escortees, but you also see Controller, Dominator, and Crab Spider pets lagging behind all the time too. (Edit: As well as PPP pets and Lore pets.) (Edit again: Is it a bigger weakness for MMs? Yes, but it isn't unique.) And MMs also already have a "teleport to me" power, it is just unreliable. It needs that to be fixed so that it occurs at a known distance at all times.

This is one of the sources of endless humor in SWTOR, where you can rescue a hostage and have to bring them back to some contact, and you can just hop on your speeder bike and zoom off, and your rescued hostage (or prisoner) will keep up with you, running on foot. Sometimes I wonder why pets and hostages aren't set up to absorb the speed of their 'owner', so they can keep up. They'd still be falling behind, because pet pathing can suck horribly, but they'd have a better chance of staying with you.

I like this idea @Laucianna, and would love to see this implemented.

From what I understand about the pets in the source code; however, that might be quite difficult to pass the inheritance information through the encapsulation of the functions in the source code.  Not impossible, but I'm honestly not sure how much re-designing this would take. I do feel it's worth it though, for Mastermind's everywhere; and an additional cool reason to pick Mastermind.

mechanically i dont know how it will work.  maybe a special mastermind vendor that gives special powers that if you toggle on, your pets will toggle on

even then there is the whole suppression thing

and they have superjump now and i dont know how they will know when to jump if they were to do it when you do it

I have no idea if the coding for it is possible as that is far out of my comfort zone 😅 I know there are rumours of them looking into Masterminds in one of the next few pages so hopefully then they might be able to spend a bit of time adding this feature if they think it will help ❤️

I support the idea, but unless or until it gets implemented we need to kindly remind players that if Group Fly gives you heartburn, take a minute to visit Null The Gull in Pocket D. It's not ideal that you have to do that, but it's also not helpful in the middle of a MSR to ask someone to turn off Group Fly and then argue with them about it.
