Bhuzu
I have been searching a few times in this board for a build for Rad/Fire that is good for normal content but haven't found anything as most people assume it is for farming AE. Does anyone have a build suggestion for Rad/Fire Brute that is good for normal content? I appreciate that help! I am not too concerned about how much it costs, I just want something to work towards that is viable.
PyroBeetle
You can make fire viable for normal content, but it is not going to be signifantly more offensive than Stone. However, it will be significantly squishier. My biggest suggestion would be to jack up your +recharge as much as humanly possible as your heal is click based, and not over time, and you are going to want it up regularly. This is different than a set like Electric, which increases your +regen significantly. I would suggest Stone if you are looking for the double damage auras that you get from Rad Melee, as it is an all around stronger set for general content and also significantly boosts your offense because of Brimstone Armor, which also scales with Fury. Sovera
Brute (Rad Fire).mbd I'm not too happy with the consumption VS the recovery but Rad has always been hefty. I'm fairly sure Consume will not be able to keep endurance up so keep Recovery Serums on the character or swap Musculature for Cardiac. Barrier finishes capping S/L and adds a bit to E/N. 33% defense so a small purple puts melee defense at 45% for a little bit extra resilience. I don't like Devastating Blow for the slow animation but drop Proton Sweep if you want it and put the slotting of Proton Sweep in Radiation Siphon and the slotting that was in it in Devastating Blow. As mentioned above Stone Armor is a strong contender and a breeze to level with. Granite Armor is no longer used so there's no need to worry about its downsides. Wimbochismo
I'm usually a ranged AT kinda guy but I've been feeling my 2 Brute's lately and happened to peak in here. I'll drop my Rad/Fire/Psi build below. It's got: 45.4 melee def, 3.5s off perma Hasten, good hp via Consume, and solid resists across the board. Shouldn't have any endurance problems and can run everything. Only thing it lacks is extra proccing. Due to no ddr it's still probably a good idea to mostly carry purples and heals. WuTang
Here's my Fire/Rad/Fire build. Does well for me. It does run lean on endurance and even with Ageless Core, on last 30 sec of it, you might need to hit Consume, in a farm; but in general content there is often enough time between mobs that it isn't a thing. I generally run with Beast Run and Sprint on and will cycle Mystic Flight on if the group splits and I need to hurry over to the wayward bunch, the built in TP is priceless. But other than that, it's straight forward, tough as nails, and does good damage. GL out there.... Edit: Can't log into game, but I think I'm actually using Resilience Core and not Cardiac... I was looking at swapping for a better endurance cushion, but like I said, no real issue.
