WuTang Posted Friday at 05:58 PM Posted Friday at 05:58 PM This build.... HAHAHA I admit my adjustments may have been detrimental to the build...but I also only have SO's equipped right now. Just hit ~23. So, I'll find out soon. Also will be able to confirm if RoP is needed or not LOL I have face planted so so so many times. I do OK, like really really good, until I don't. Gonna get some gear on him tonight, hopefully get my recharge up a bit. I'm wondering if Fast Healing is needed when leveling, but then it looks to help so little. May just put him a farm and get past all the low levels...

But once you get the majority of the powers, and start getting a couple enhancements in them, it should feel a lot more stable. At level 23, you're right around the corner from Reactive Regeneration and I think that'll be pretty noticeable in a good way. Edit: and to clarify, I'd recommend Reactive Regeneration for leveling, but for a completed build things are a little more open-ended. Edited Friday at 11:17 PM by Enamel_32 2
Crysis Posted yesterday at 01:20 AM Posted yesterday at 01:20 AM All builds typically have at least one critter type that gives them trouble. On this new Regen, I’m struggling against +2/X5 packs of COT Ghouls. They surround me and I just cannot hit anything and just quickly die. It’s almost comical because I don’t recall running missions where I’d have packs of just ghosts before nor have they ever really given me much trouble. But now….gotta lower the difficulty to get past that Tips mission lol. 1

Here's one that may offer slightly more survivability as you level up. I've picked powers through 24, but only slotted powers through level 20 so that it more represents what you'll be looking at now. Combined with Punch/Haymaker/Knockout Blow, you should be able to pretty consistently keep at least one enemy locked down while you kill it. You'll eventually respec out of it (probably around level 26 when you can finally pick up Foot Stomp) but until that point it's great. If you have the START vendor IOs, I would recommend replacing the recharge SOs in Punch, Haymaker, Air Superiority and Knockout Blow (along with its damage one) for those. Edit: Oh, and the travel power is up to your preference. I used Super Jump just because it's often a good thematic Super Strength one to leap tall buildings. Edited yesterday at 04:57 AM by Terenos 1

I do not know why I like the idea of regen so much. And when I say regen I really mean all three power sets, Regen, WP, and Bio. I mean sure, Wolverine was my first love in comics, but I think there is more to it than that. Speaking of Wolverine... He'd totally be a Brute in my mind. I think the rage mechanic fits his style of literally going berserk and rage killing everything in his path. Ok serious question...sort of With the changes made to Regeneration, does this shift the ranking at all? Before it was: 3. Regeneration 2. Willpower 1. Bio Armor Still? Or has Regen bumped WP?

With the addition of things like more accessible IOs, better pool powers, and knowledge, Regen was absolutely pulling ahead rapidly. Now it's been buffed! There isn't really a contest anymore, in my eyes. If you thought my take of "Regen is one of the strongest armor sets" was controversial, then get ready for 'Willpower is absolutely the worst armor in the game"! 1 1 Mainly on Excelsior. Thraxen Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Regen might be better with the resist to -regen it has now. Maybe though. My only 50 brute, until today, was staff/wp. Only thing that ever killed him was huge -regen debuff. Staff helped some with the +def attack though. WP was for sure better before. Like hands down no argument better. Maybe close now? I tried a tank with regen but deleted. Wasn't regen's fault I just didn't like the pairing I chose with it. Made a brute instead that is MA/PSI and it is a lot of fun. The regen on it gets crazy high, speaking of regen. Haven't respec'd or played since I just hit 50. Stupid yard work. Aura of insanity is crazy good. Can't wait to get the hamis in it. Want to run an all PSI armor ITF and see how nuts it goes.
