We need some new mastermind primaries. I know we have undead with Necromancy, but their pets are so zombie-ish. Why can't we get a vampire set so we can wander around with a brood of vampire underlings? Or a coven of witches? Or a pack of wolves? Something new? I think MM is the only AT that hasn't gotten any new primary powersets for the duration of Homecoming's existence.

While I, too, would love some new MM primaries, my understanding is that they are some of, if not the, most complicated such set to create.  As for your proposals, TBH, I'd prefer something a bit more generic, or barring that, for the devs to devote any time they'd put into this kind of set, to be put toward MM pet customization instead - since we could then change the necro set into something like "feral vampires" for the T1s, vampire warriors for the T2s, and an elder vampire for the T3...

Guys with guns is probably the most generic concept there is and we have 2 of those already

 

But generic isn't always what's needed. A good thematic fit for minions makes for a good pet set. Things that hang around together normally would be ideal as pets, such as the aforementioned vampires, witches, and werewolves. Vampires do suck (ha ha) because of the similar power nature to Necromancy, but a coven of witches would be ideal. There's a lot of variety to what could be added to witches for powers, but throwing in a few storm blast powers for the MM to use as attacks would make it stand out from the other sets and go well with storm summoning as a secondary.

What I'd prefer would be a generic "elementalist" set, with minions that dealt fire, water, earth, and air-based attacks, (lightning would probably be the easiest for the latter).  If pet customization ever became a thing, then, sure, make them witches, or wizards, or pure elementals to your heart's content...

I think I'd prefer the witches, and if they could ever get pet customization then you could make them generic to your heart's content.

While I wouldn't be opposed to new MM primaries, the AT itself has a litany of issues that need to be resolved and which *should* take priority over the creation of new powersets that would in-and-of-themselves be difficult to differentiate outside appearance.

Let's fix the fact that MM pets are slugs in a modestly well-paced team, or that they still have Down-level shifts outside of Incarnate Content before we consider adding more fluff.

     Maybe we can address the fact that MM pets both have the longer-than-players Ragdoll animation when knocked, and that it is IMPOSSIBLE TO SLOT KB PROTECTION INTO PETS AT ALL?  There's 2 powersets MMs can take which give their impotent minions any KB protections, but outside of that their only option is to be forced to run Clarion Destiny... on an AT that really would prefer to be able to run Barrier Destiny.  That's just one of an extensive list of issues with MMs as an AT that the entire playerbase would be overjoyed to see fixed, improving playability and performance at all levels.  A shiny new powerset won't fix this stuff.

     In many relevant ways to actual performance (jumping through a map quickly and being able to y'know... attack targets such as Web Parts on a MLTF), MMs have always been worse than pre-buff Sentinels and human-only Kheldians.  You can't avoid these gameplay scenarios, especially if everyone else on the team is playing the game but you're a MM wondering where your pets are (sure would be nice to be able to make them move faster, or recall them to you consistently).

Squirrel Girls everywhere!

 

I would like mini flying dragons that spit out different elemental damages with skin colors to match damage type. A choice of elemental damage types, ice/fire/elec etc with a toggle similar to Dual Pistols.

 

No need for group fly and they can be mostly ranged.
