I'm looking to do another MM but having trouble picking, and was hoping you guys could give me your thoughts! I've got a few combinations in mind... I'm thinking one of these Necro/Cold Dom or Beast Mastery/Cold Dom Mercenaries/Elec Affinity Thugs/Rad Ninjas/Kin or Time or just do Demons/Nature again From my understanding Ninjas are quite weak and easily killed, but I'm willing to take the gamble with kinetics anyways 🙂 Just wondering what some thoughts from other players might be?
tidge Posted Thursday at 04:45 PM Posted Thursday at 04:45 PM I wouldn't be quick to repeat any combo you already have played... it is just MHO but I think it is hard to judge the strengths and weakness of a set or combo without playing them (especially for MMs). If you want to eventually feel really powerful... I think /Marine and /Time secondaries are probably the best choices for whichever primary you pick. Marine will probably remind you of Nature.

Unfortunately just finished building a Marine corrupter so not looking to make a new one right off the bat, but I'll give time a try, thanks for your input!
Snarky Posted Thursday at 06:49 PM Posted Thursday at 06:49 PM Cold Dom gets Benumb and Heat Loss. These are VERY powerful and sought after by teams/leaguers doing upper end content. They will help you clear tough bosses satisfactorily. 1

Of the options you listed at the top: Necro/Cold Mercs/Elec Ninjas/Time Played them all and they are all excellent combos. Ninjas are pretty squishy, they make up for it by killing everything so fast they usually don't have time to die. When some of the mm's got a bump a couple issues back ninjas were amongst them and they pop crits often enough to make /ninja blasters and stalkers jealous.

I have no comment regarding which combos to do, lol. Of those I have a necro/cold and beast/cold to high level. Both good combos. With all the buffs necro got I'd give the edge to necro/cold for sure. But yes, /time is always a solid choice as well and should work well with any primary.

I second trying Marine as a secondary, something new and it's a very good on MM's. 1
