Minor HC Wiki correction

The Task Force Commander badge requirements are outdated.  On the Hero Accomplishment badges page, Sister Psyche's TF badge is listed with the other Task Force Commander badges while Penelope Yin's task force badge is listed at the bottom.

On the page for the Task Force Commander badge itself, in the Notes section, it's mentioned that Sister Psyche's TF can also qualify for the Task Force Commander badge.  I know this is incorrect because I first encountered this problem some months ago where a player had gotten all six badges except for Yin's badge.  They had gotten Sister Psyche's TF badge instead.  And they didn't get the Task Force Commander badge.  I've also tested this out myself on new toons that I've created.

Thanks for finding this. It's great that you caught the error. It would be even better if you could contribute to the article by making that recommended edit. It's all volunteer work and it's only as good as the effort we all put in it collectively.

Serious question: I thought that the Sis P TF was meant to contribute towards the badge and it has a significant amount of love from the player base as a TF. Is this a case where rather than the wiki being wrong, the game itself is wrong in not awarding it?

I've heard it was at one time.  I guess they changed it for lore reasons.  Since Sister Psyche was dead, they created a replacement.

I didn't know that editing was open to anyone.  How would I do that?

I've got the Task Commander badge very recently, and that was with only doing the Sister Psyche TF and not Yin's. So is this a bug that afffects getting the badge?

It's either/or. Either Sister Psyche's Task Force or Penelope Yin's Task Force will count towards Task Force Commander.

Well, as it turns out, this has changed.  To test this out, I got the Task Force Commander badge on a toon that didn't have Yin.  I don't know if they fixed this or that I have Alzheimer's...

In fairness I tell Michiyo if I see something and ask her to do the edit as I'm utterly useless at this kind of thing. I've had to edit the GM wiki a couple of times and it's always rough 🙂

First, create an account by clicking the 'Create Account' link in the top right corner of the home page.

 

 

Once you create an account, switch from the Default Mode (Light Mode) to Dark Mode to confirm you aren't crazy. Then you will see your logged in name and other items which you can review.

 

 

Then, if you are not familiar with updating or editing a wiki page, I recommend reviewing the user Help guide:  https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Help:Contents

 

Once you feel confident in your abilities, go to a page and make the edit deemed necessary. If you screw something up during editing, just hit cancel and the page reverts back to the previous version. There are some pages that see a lot of edits and others that haven't changed in a decade. Always ask for help if you don't understand how to do something or want to know how to make it easier to do something.
