Is it possible to create a bind or macro that allows you to target glowies?

Universally?  No.  If they are targetable and have specific names, then use targetcustomnext or something similar.  I suppose if you knew *all* the possible glowie names, you could include all of them in one bind...

It would have to be rotating binds, due to the character limit.

targetcustomnext <name>$$ uses a minimum of 19 characters plus the object name, plus the 9 characters just to make the bind.  Even confined to a single bind file, you'd be unlikely to squeeze in more than 8.  Cut it down to 7 to make room for bindloadfile filename.txt.  So if there were 100 object names, you'd have to use a 15 file rotating bind.  If there were 500 object names, 72 bind files.

Or @Healix could just bind a key to /interact, which is probably exactly what she wants.

well, I already have the "target_custom_next notmypet"' and that is really handy.  Lemming, I will try that one. Thank you!

well, the 'targetcustomnext Present' was a no-go. (I suspect that it could be used in the winter event for presents.)

I did find a solution that you may like, Jacke. I have the CoHMod Installer, and found a mod for 'Double Loud Glowie' that is really great! I can hear them, even when my PC sound isn't turned up a lot.

Ok that's interesting. It may be a dumb question but what does "target_custom_next notmypet"' actually target? I ask because a friend and I are dual teaming with MMs and it's been an... interesting start. We're neither of us very experienced with MMs but healing pets has been an issue so I'm wondering if this targets our team mate's pet?

If going to space for 11 minutes makes you an astronaut, then I'm probably an expert gynaecologist.

It just ignores your own pets.

If you want to cycle through allied pets, try something like "target_custom_next alive friend notteammate" - but honestly I'd sooner setup a few numpad binds to let you quickly select each pet uniquely (via either "pet_select_name NAME" and/or "target_custom_next friend notteammate PETNAME")

"target_custom_next notmypet" cycles through villains, civilians and friends. Very handy when looking for hostages. I have it bound to Esc so I can easily spam click it and fly/run at the same time.

/bind Esc "target_custom_next notmypet"

Yep, it's good for winter, you have to name the glowie.   (Which can be an issue if you don't have the name)

I'll play around with it a bit later, there was some stuff that I wanted to check into anyway with those.

And yes, DBL Loud Glowie is very handy.
