GenLoco Posted April 9 Posted April 9 (edited) so whe can make REAL Fairies and other mythical beings not chibi whit Boblehead but just normal like being schrunk in a normal way and maybe even able to still change your appearence by outfits when have-ing normal mini mode not chibi mode since the mini mode now is more like chibi mode whit huge boblehead lol this is chibi i whas thinking of more like schrinking normaly not as anime style this is chibi form which is anime for adult in small form but what i ment is schrinking normaly like winx club fairy's form they are able to schrink smaller then this chibi form but i think the chibi size is good but only smaller limbs more normal Edited April 9 by GenLoco 1 2 1
Architect Conservator Posted April 9 Posted April 9 That sounds like a wonderful thing to have, if is possible.
FrozenSolid Posted April 9 Posted April 9 It would look silly to have a tiny character with most of the Melee power sets, but that's fine. And rather than making new body types, I wonder would it be possible to just extend the Height slider. Not changing the scaling though, because that'd affect literally every character and probably NPCs as well...
GenLoco Posted April 9 Author Posted April 9 (edited) i have the thinest and smallest build char made and then its really chibi like anime i prefer also a mini mode that is normal mini mode and the mini mode that excist at this moment becomes Chibi Mode the only change is the thickness of legg's arm's and Head size and maybe a slimmer midd section copy the Mini mode alrdy in excistens give it a temp name then change the mini mode to chibi mode and rename the temp version to mini mode and make every thing thiner it doesnt need a new its just copy and edit the excisting model and the char in screenshot is not a combat char its ranged since fairy arent close combat fighters but ranged Edited April 9 by GenLoco
Rigged Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Sounds good. You can then play as having the Wasp's or Ant Man's powers. Everlasting, even though I do not RP, as: Doctor Hadius, Crab Spider (Main) ~ Aeronwen, Rad/Super Strength/Mu Tanker ~ Mortality Black, Time/Dual Pistols/Soul Defender ~ Vextravaganza, Illusion/Dark/Psi Controller ~ Baneframe, Robots/Time/Mace Mastermind ~ Zippy-Zap, Electric Armor/Dark Melee/Soul Tanker ~ Laser Lily, Beam Rifle/Energy Aura/Leviathan Sentinel ~ Nezumiko, Savage Melee/Bio Armor/Mu Stalker
GenLoco Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 those 2 i whas thinking about as whell or perhaps a real Fairy or any other small charactor
Steampunkette Posted April 17 Posted April 17 So there's three issues with this suggestion: 1) Hard limits on scaling. The game has 'em built in and it won't allow characters to exist above or below certain values. 2) Bounding box. No matter how big or small your character is, your bounding box is the same. You take up the same amount of space at 4ft tall as you take up at 8ft tall. So you couldn't pass through openings that look small enough for your character. 3) Targeting. While your bounding box remains 6ft tall, you can only be targeted by tabbing or clicking. Tiny player characters in PvP would be incredibly difficult to target. Especially if they headglitch behind cover while making ranged attacks, since you would be unable to target them in return. 1
Frozen Burn Posted April 17 Posted April 17 I too want a mini-mode without a huge bobblehead. I was so excited for this feature for my fairy / pixie toons, but then I saw the bobblehead and was hugely disappointed. At least I made money of the aethers I saved up for it! lol

GenLoco Posted April 17 Author Posted April 17 (edited) and i whont even do PVP its most for Qsting and Roleplaying @Steampunkette all those thing's you are saying doesnt matter becausse the mini mode that is alrdy here is more like chibi mode its alrdy there whe are just asking for normal body proportions not the big Boblehead and chibi body Edited April 17 by GenLoco

Changing the height scalar to go to smaller levels would function in PvP zones, however. And was suggested as an alternative to a new Mini Mode. 1 hour ago, GenLoco said: and i whont even do PVP its most for Qsting and Roleplaying @Steampunkette all those thing's you are saying doesnt matter becausse the mini mode that is alrdy here is more like chibi mode its alrdy there whe are just asking for normal body proportions not the big Boblehead and chibi body It doesn't matter if you, personally, won't PvP with it. If it is an option, people will do it.

The OP hasn't asked for slider adjustments, just copying the existing mini mode costume - which doesn't work in PvP - to a new one that just alters the model slightly so it doesn't have a bobblehead. 1

If the only thing in the thread that gets discussed is what is in the OP and all other topics or tangents are irrelevant, verboten, or otherwise not to be considered, why are you bothering to discuss what I've said in this thread? I know what the OP wanted. There is a reason I didn't quote the OP in the continuing discussion when I expressed the problems of just expanding the height slider. What else do you hope to come to understand or communicate with this line of inquiry? Edited Thursday at 05:41 PM by Steampunkette 1

I'm sorry, am I not allowed to respond to your posts? I'll be sure to ask your permission next time. I can't help it if you didn't reply to the appropriate poster and decided to lump every suggestion together, even though it wasn't what the author of the thread had asked for. 1 hour ago, Steampunkette said: What else do you hope to come to understand or communicate with this line of inquiry? Steampunkette Posted Thursday at 07:24 PM Posted Thursday at 07:24 PM Do what you want, Zac. And people don't always use the quote tool 'cause people don't always use any tools. Sometimes people might think it's fairly evident who they're talking to, or what they're talking about, and who else is involved in that particular aspect of the conversation. Sometimes that isn't always clear, but asking for clarity and getting it should probably be good enough in situations where confusion arises.
Sakura Tenshi Posted Thursday at 08:03 PM Posted Thursday at 08:03 PM Adding my approval to this along with the dream we'll one day get an 'Embiggen' effect.

Well, sure. Sometimes people don't realize that other people aren't on their same wavelength and maybe what they're posting isn't clear.
