I would think there's even more, but then I think of such as Losers, but while not likely DC Proper, is a Vertigo/DC comic.

yeah, okay. Not as alert as I thought I was at the time apparently.

But the fan flack for remaining true to the series was never really an issue with most of these as for as I know.

 

?Josie and the Pussycats? Wow, I didn't realize that started as a comic book before it was animated.

 

The Sin City movies and the Spirit as well. 

 

Men in Black #1 came out during an independent comics deluge. There were like 80 new black and white comic book series that came out from independent publishers that month.

Yeah there was a bit of a boom in studios mining the indies for material. You still see a few here and there, but I think most of that wave is over, especially since TV is a more natural fit for adapting comics series. There are a few characters in that list that I think are probably more popular than some MCU headliners. Hellboy vs. Shang-Chi, for example.

They’ve had some none trash - I wouldn’t consider Werewolf by Night and the GOTG Christmas special trash

Deadpool/Wolverine also wasn’t trash.

So I’d probably put them around 80-85% trash over the past few years.
