Not as alert as I thought I was at the time apparently. But the fan flack for remaining true to the series was never really an issue with most of these as for as I know. ?Josie and the Pussycats? Wow, I didn't realize that started as a comic book before it was animated. The Sin City movies and the Spirit as well. Men in Black #1 came out during an independent comics deluge. There were like 80 new black and white comic book series that came out from independent publishers that month. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.
TTRPGWhiz Posted Wednesday at 11:27 AM Posted Wednesday at 11:27 AM Yeah there was a bit of a boom in studios mining the indies for material. You still see a few here and there, but I think most of that wave is over, especially since TV is a more natural fit for adapting comics series. There are a few characters in that list that I think are probably more popular than some MCU headliners. Hellboy vs. Shang-Chi, for example.
arcane Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Pretty sure Disney has been 100% trash for many years by now. Kinda all there is to it.

They’ve had some none trash - I wouldn’t consider Werewolf by Night and the GOTG Christmas special trash Deadpool/Wolverine also wasn’t trash. So I’d probably put them around 80-85% trash over the past few years.
battlewraith Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I always love to hear auteurs weighing in on Disney movies. 1
