Blaster of all damage types.

Hello there. I want to make a blaster that is able to deal all damage types. I've seen the term "rainbow blaster" thrown around, but to my disappointment that seems to be referring to having resistances to everything and not blasting enemies with the power of the rainbow. Can a true Rainbow Blaster build work? And if so, what would it look like?

An example:
Storm Blast covers Smashing, Cold and Energy
Fire Manipulation covers Fire and Lethal

Force of Will pool gives you Psychic

Experimentation gives you Toxic
Soul Mastery for Negative Energy

 

And of course, damage procs can add extra damage types in there if you skip some of these.

I'm not sure how you'd put all this together into a coherent build in terms of either game mechanics or concept, but it can be done.

You can't take both Experimentation and Force of Will in a single build, you're limited to one of the specialized pools.

Yeah Dual Pistols is probably the best primary for this since it covers Lethal, Fire, Cold and Toxic damage. Force of Will power pool then covers Smashing and Psionic. Finally for Energy and Negative Energy you can take your choice of a few different secondaries and epics since there are multiple choices in both groups that cover either Energy or Negative Energy.

 

That being said personally when I was doing a "multiple elements" character I focused on the four classical elements (Earth, Fire, Wind and Water) with a character that had powers representing all four of those. In my case it was an Earth/Fire/Ice Dominator but there's a number of decent Blaster options that could work similarly.
