twozerofoxtrot Posted June 19 Posted June 19 There's a lot of fun little references tucked all over the place. Post your finds, even if they need a little explainer for reference! I'll start with this: when Radiant Dawn is asked what his favorite bands names are, he responds with groups whose initials come out to "GG and "Fed," common shorthand in MOBAs or other games. The impermanence of which is a possible nudge to the true story behind the Altruist Paragon Protectors. Probably hard to share a lot about yourself when your memories fit on a thumb drive.
Ukase Posted June 28 Posted June 28 The only thing I can think of that I discovered - which I have no documentation of - is when I was trying to find out what contact West was trying to get me to talk to, I switched alignments and ran Alexander's arc, and spoke with Frostfire within it to learn of his advocacy for mutants, missing or otherwise. I mean, the West arc was the only reason I clicked on him, to see if he had any information, and he was a contact who might know something. After Fusionette and Manti wouldn't talk, there weren't any contacts I'd done that involved Crey at all - which has already been hashed to death in another thread. Still, it was interesting that Frostfire had words on the topic. 2
WumpusRat Posted June 30 Posted June 30 I like the "calendar photoshoot" going on on the little island just east of the tram station. It seems to be random whether or not it's there, and if the person posing is a male or female. It's a couple of photographers and one of the Blackwing people lying on a bench in a sexy pose, clad in the helmet, gloves and boots, and a bikini/speedo. Laughed my butt off when I first found it. 🙂 1 2

Not sure which real band Golden Grain is referencing but I'd guess it's the same sort of thing. Edited July 1 by ZemX 4
rolandgrey Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Golden Grain = KoRn 2 You can be a good man, the best man in the world... But there will always be somebody who hates a good man.
BurnTheWitch Posted Thursday at 08:27 PM Posted Thursday at 08:27 PM I can't believe that this wasn't noticed long ago, but i noticed it for the first time yesterday. When starting the questline "the graveyard shift" in Ouroboros, you are told about and address 612 Wharf avenue. This quest was made in about 2004-2006 I -think-, and I'm 99% certain it is a reference to the Aqua Teen Hunger force episode "MC Pee Pants" (season 1, episode 9). Pretty obscure nowadays, but what a solid joke when CoH launched! 1

I lead weekly Indom Badge Runs / A newer giant monster guide by Glacier Peak / A tour of Pocket D easter eggs! / Arena All-Star Accolade Guide! Best Post Ever....

Wow, I did not know that it was so new. That seems like such an obscure reference then. Awesome work whoever wrote that joke.
Championess Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago There's a new secret base in Khalisti Wharf home to the devs. Someone in the know ported me into it so I can't give exact location but it does exist. I've seen @Cobalt Arachne's cat and may have adjusted their miniature toys.
